Richard your videos are amazing! I have a small challenge for you- I think you should try to catch some Alabama walleye! Specifically, I think you should try for the elusive Weiss lake walleyes because that’s where the state record was caught at and I know they’re down there.

Hey Richard I know you don't care about livescope but! I think you could teach some people a couple things while using it. Because most people i see on RUclips using livescope they drop one single jig in front of the crappie and say they want bite or you can't make them however I think you can teach a lot of people that if you change colors or jig size or type or drop a live minnow you can entice that fish to bite so for these reasons I would love to see you go out on someone's boat with livescope and teach us a few things. Awesome video Richard Gene! I have been using them using 2 inch Baby Shad Bobby Garlands to catch Crappie rigged a couple different ways! I’ve been burning them up in Kentucky.
Richard….try the Clobber Minnow by 6th Sense. It is an amazing crappie bait. I’ve had great luck with it. The shape mimics a shad really nicely.

Man i watch all your videos and have for a few years . Don’t comment a lot but i want to thank you . Ive learned a lot from you and i grew up fishing. I want you to take a trip and target my favorite fish this year . Bowfin. We call them Grinnel here in Mississippi. If you dont have a place to catch them i would love to help make that happen.

Hey Richard I’m a total fishing amateur. In this video you said crappie are at 5 to 7 feet i assume you go by feel to put your bait at that depth. But would putting a high vis braid uni knot at 5 to seven feet from the bait on my line be a good method of monitoring where the bait is while reeling back to you?
Pickwick Lake has been tough for us this year towards Pickwick Dam. Anyone got any tips on depth in this area? We just don't seem to be on them like last year.

Hey Richard do you order your rods I noticed that you use a lot of sowbelly rods. I’ve only saw one in our Academy store and none in our Bass Pro Shop. So I’m assuming you do unless the stores in Alabama and Tennessee carries them.

It's Leland Lures finspin. I bought them at Academy sports I believe. They also make the crappie magnet baits i think
