In 1950, the Nehru govt arrested Veer Savarkar on grounds of 'prevention of violence' when a Pakistani PM came to India on visit. The act used for arrest was this same Rowlatt Act.
Although the British had left, they left behind their laws to be used by the Brown Sahebs.

I've never understood why people put the blame of jallianwala entirely on brits. The people who literally fired shots at the crowd were Indians (gurkhas & sikhs). Plus, Dyer was honoured by both the then Jathedar of the Akal Takht (Simranjeet's nanaji) & member of Khalsa Diwan. History books & films paint a one-sided picture, while reality is, traitors have always existed within our nation itself.
This is why the film udham singh was so hilarious to me. Attack was ordered by Dyer, carried out by gurkhas & sikhs, but in typical bewakoof punjabi mentality, Udham kil*ed O'Dwyer. If he really had guts, why didn't he face gurkha or sikh regiment soldiers?! 😂

Remember, the soldiers pulling the triggers on orders of Dyer were Brown "Indians" not White British Soldiers. "I am not afraid of Muslims, I'm not afraid of Britishers, I'm afraid of Hindus against Hinduism" - Savarkar.
The British had to leave the day these soldiers turned the guns at their "Masters", the moment they realized they were no longer the slaves.
That's why it is important to Reclaim our history, our past, our Glory, our Civilization and everything that is rightfully ours.
Equally important is to teach them a lesson who find it advantageous and inconsequential to work against the Civilization and its common good.
