Dude, you don't need a filter dryer. The entire point of the filter dryer is to make up for shoddy vacuuming work by technicians. Since you don't need to vacuum because all components are precharged, you don't need one. So, yeah, you're justifying to yourself, but it is invalid. Also, in your infinite wisdom... you put the line dryer outside. Choice move. That is where it will get exposed to the elements, rust, and be your first leak. Primo move. Dude, leave that board alone. It is in with the compressor. It is going to keep it dry. Stop trying to modify something that is better than you. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean that thing isn't coated. LEAVE IT ALONE! Also, you have the one side [short side] too close to your wall.
I REPAIR MULTIPLE SYSTEMS EVERY WEEK AND THE FILTER DRIER IS ALWAYS OUTSIDE THE CONDENSING UNIT.. IF IT HAS ONE, LOL... THOSE THAT DO NOT, IN MY EXPERIENCE, FAIL SOONER FROM WATER INTRUSION WHERE LEAKS DEVELOPE... NONCONDENSABLES HAVE A WAY OF MAKING A MESS OF THINGS AND A FILTER DRIER CAN MINIMIZE THEIR EFFECT ON EVERY AC SYSTEM THEY'RE INSTSALLED ON... JUST SAYING.... MY CAPS LOCK IS BROKEN ~ IM REALLY NOT YELLING, BTW, LOL
All sealed system , you don't need drier
They recommend against filter driers. They have several strainers built in and have seen the descant from filter driers clog or sand blast them.
Who is they? Is that mrcool that recommend not using a dryer filter does it say in the installation manual to not use a dryer filter
The gold coating is acrylic resin.
How do you switch it from 4 to 5 ton?
No reason for condinsate trap on supply side it will eventually clog and ruin gas furnace it serves no purpose
