Question. Why would you need to incorporate a gas furnace if the Mr Cool is rated to produce 100% rated BTUs down to -5 degrees? And gas cost more than electricity.

Where do you get the freon? I've been vacuuming gout the line all day and it's still not working. I think I need a bigger shop vac. Are the gas pipes lefty loosely right tighty like a nut and bolt? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Actually why not just flare end to end? Using a flare then brazing is just dumb. Oh wait, they used a normal coil, not a universal one. That must mean the outdoor unit has no expansion valve? Weird.
Why dual fuel when the unit gives you heat well bellow zero? Just telling a customer today that is thinking DYI about the Universal model. You really should have that knuckle head wear safety glasses when brazing.

4:00 is that a mirror or do I see another outdoor unit??? Why is that not mentioned?
The other condenser is for a different portion of the house. It is not connected to the gas furnace.

gas heating is generally cheaper than running the heat pump when it's really cold outside.
Always dual in a cold climate.

Your correct I’m pretty sure they’re like the Ducan furnace same as Lennox just minus the ECM blower motor and insulation lol
Correct. Same furnace as the cheap Lennox merit series. Other brands are ducane, adp, aireflo. There's also a blueridge furnace brand, same thing.
