      The 4xe is excellent! All the in-town range that most of us need & still capable of road trips without the charge network (unless it’s available). Good choice 👍🏻🇺🇸. I have a 2018 JL & would get one, but a bit out of my price point for now.

    This review couldn't possibly be more honest. It's so true -- everybody loves a Jeep in all its ugly, compromised glory. 🍻

    A cow is more aerodynamic than a Jeep Wrangler lol. Thanks for the review. Us Jeepers don't buy it for the gas mileage, we buy it for the adventure. Yes, a lot of us are crazy as well 🙂

    This has been the best car review I’ve seen in a while. Like motormouth good ! 👍

    Does the battery pack lower the center of gravity? Less likely to roll over?

    I love to get one, but I drive 50 miles on the highway. I had a jeep loaner and I just couldn’t do it. But everything else was cool

    The 4xe isn't much of a price difference over a V6 Wrangler, when you count in the $7500 Federal Tax Credit. For those of us with short commutes, you never use any gas.

    9:00 "If you don't have (access to recharging the battery), you're saddled by this extra 100 immediate horsepower that's warranteed for 100k miles." There. Fixed it. That said, yeah, you're missing out on a lot of what this vehicle can give you and you shouldn't buy it. Unless you want a 100HP power adder that's warranteed for 100k miles.

    • @jneptune1540
      @jneptune1540 2 года назад

      I don’t think you understand what the 100k warranty is. Is the battery only. Everything else that is connected is not.
      But it’s worth the premium over gas only jeep

    The PRICE quoted as 10k more than other models is incorrect. The 4xe is loaded with options and has a 7500 tax credit so for some its the less expensive rubicon or Sahara. Car gurus did not check there info. Poor.

    • @cliffcarreviews
      @cliffcarreviews 3 года назад

      Between a Sahara and a 4xe Sahara, or between a 4-door Rubicon and a Rubicon 4xe, the difference in the base price is roughly $10k. Look for yourself at Jeep.com

      @davidcarrico3385 3 года назад +2

      @@cliffcarreviews you shouldn’t compare base to base because many options on the regular wrangler come as standard on the 4xe. When you compare similarly optioned, it’s a lot closer, something like 5k, so if you get the full $7500 credit, you actually come out on top by about $2500 against a similarly optioned gas wrangler.

    • @cliffcarreviews
      @cliffcarreviews 3 года назад

      @@davidcarrico3385 Agreed, and that's what I said several times. With the desirable options, the final price is no more expensive than any other loaded up Wrangler.

    • @jneptune1540
      @jneptune1540 2 года назад +1

      Most people who buy the car will not qualify for the full $7500 credit. When was the last time you owed $7500 in taxes?

    Yeah so you don't like Jeep wrangler. It is so evident. I watched your review and have some issues. You price is TOTALLY wrong! A 4 door Rubi base is $53,415 CD and the 4Xe is $56,167 before green discounts. Again Canadian and from the Jeep website. If you opt it up its your call. Also I do not believe the “roll over” issue is that great like you inferred it is. It might have been on the CJ, YJ and TJ but has been improved (64 inches YJ to 73 inches on the JK)(I am on 3 years with my JK and it has never been an issue). You also claimed that the roof is a hard thing to deal with and can be leaky. It is a Jeep. I have not had that problem either and I am sure many others are with me. As for comfortable to drive that is a personal thing. I am on my 4th wrangler. And I have enjoyed all of them as they built to be what they are. They are not and never will be a VW GTI or a Chev Silverado. But what they are is a kick ass off roader and a great traveler. I have driven mine to Cali and back (I am in the Ottawa, Ont. area). Also they are awesome in the snow. There is no better set of wheels when you take the top and doors off (Bronco maybe I haven't tried one yet). Now one thing you did get right is the steering sucks on the JLs and Jeep has to fix that once and for all.
    Last, Joe Biden just drove one. Did you see the smile on his face??? Please try and be a little more subjective with your reviews. I have not seen any others that you have done and most likely won’t. But please do have a nice day.

      A Rubicon is $43k before options, but you have to add almost $6k in options that the 4xe gets as standard equipment. The Rubicon 4xe is $58k before options.
      I ordered a 4xe Rubicon and it was $63k with options. All prices are USD (The reviewer is in the US I believe).

    Be careful with this one. FORM will make your life hell in colder climates, and Jeep has no desire to address the issue.
