Cool vid. Would you recommend 2.5 or 2” for a 3/4 pick up with 1 1/4 Johnny joints? I currently have steel links but I’m showing a lot of threads after the last alignment
Once again explained in such a simple, visual and direct way. I thought the links where hollow, like thick walled tubing to increase rigidity, glad i learned
I'm actually gonna be ordering some from you guys after I get all my measurements down just happy to see a video of what I'll actually be getting and most the work involved.....REPUTATIONAL LMAO

Hi Jake, I have a question about picking the correct size of steel for link suspensions. I am building a 4 link for an F500 truck. probably never off-road it. If I use DOM tubing is 2 1/2 inch, .25wall, strong enough to support the theoretical load of a 5 ton truck. Air Bags are goodyear bags designed for a city bus. hOW DID YOU BEGIN TO SIZE THE MATERIAL FOR THE LINKS IN THIS VIDEO?
I can testify to this. I ordered them and got them in i think 3 to 4 days. But man way too easy to install and set lengths and way to light. To change the pinion angle now i can just twist the bars. But the cool part not fab work. Just twist on the ends and set
@@BustedKnuckleOffRoad im almost done with the tacoma i finally drove it out of the garage and im just waiting for my glass fenders but im stoked to finally test the burkey suspension on a pickup truck!!!!😍😍😍
@@BustedKnuckleOffRoad i just drove it and am gonna order the right size limit straps but man it feels so nice i cant even feel bumps on the rear of the truck anymore lol ITS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Hey Jake burkey it’s Jock Burge I got kxr1000 I will give you as a down payment I want street legal if possible budget build I have motor dodge 360 out of rv I know budget build
Sorry we don't take trade ins or do budget builds. We do have some real nice production buggies that start at $80k or can sell you the parts to build whatever you would like.
You can order 7075 Aluminum Links Here> bustedknuckleoffroad.com/collections/link-bars

I absolutely love it when people know what they are talking about, great video
Thanks Kyle more to come!

That is what it is all about, glad you enjoyed it!
Really loved that, seeing skilled engineering done is a treat...loved the outtakes too.
Martyn Van Lancker these have been a ton of fun to edit. Can’t wait to do more and grow this secondary channel. 👊🏻
The outtakes have quickly become my favorite part
7075 is a beautiful aluminum alloy.
It shines up real nice.
Awesome information 👌😎👍
Glad you think so!
As always Jake great information and great job
I appreciate that
Wish I could afford a "Burkey Buggy". Love the out takes ... lol
Don Miller we are working on making them more affordable down to $85k turnkey right now.
Is this donnie miller? The tire grooving guru??
@@bustedknuckleoffroadllc5060 LOL, nope, well, if it gets me sumtin free then YEP :D .... Sorry, not the same guy.
LOL
When are you going to start making rzr parts? Great video
Grim RZR too much competition in rzr parts. We do have rzr limit straps coming soon.
But there are a lot of rzr's out there. Lol. Keep the sweet videos coming
Grim RZR yeah but too many people willing to lose money to sell a product. No thanks

We can knock them out for you fast. Ha glad everyone enjoys the outtakes. 😂
Jake always tells it like it is✔🍻

good alumunium think video
Thanks 👍
Hi jake what transfer case do you use and what is the best transfer case for buggys
Atlas Pro for trail rigs and SCS for racing
Nice! Do you make aluminium trailing arms too?
We make heavy duty steel trailing arms that are sleeved with aluminum for strength.
Nice vlog
Thank you 😊

2.5 is great for heavier rigs
@BustedKnuckleOffRoad - Love seeing this shit! Wanted to know if you build the chassis from the ground up or do you source them in already built?
We design and build the chassis in house, they are all laser cut notched and CNC bent
Yes
Everyone needs some bling under their rigs
Impressive
now they are all done on a CNC lathe

It should be strong enough, or you can just order some HD aluminum links from us
What would be stronger a hollow tube or a round bar?
Depends on the material
@@BustedKnuckleOffRoad 7075 aluminium as in the video.

If you know you know.
Which engine's the best for building this monster?!.
Our standard engine is a 550hp LS3.
