the fact that the movie was already profitable before it even hit theaters is amazing, the fact that it made 10+ times its budget in ticket sales while on a streaming service is outstanding, I hope the sequel comes soon.
Hopefully for the 10 year anniversary next year a full 2 hour cut off the movie with all the cut scenes will be released manly because I want to see that cut performance off the fixed animatronics so badly

...would it though? I won't deny it, but we don't entirely know what the extra stuff would've done. I'd wait till you actually see this director's cut before coming to conclusions.
I'm honestly happy that this movie is getting the additional cut content on the DVDs because it would make the film so much longer & so much better, where we can see so much backstory for the characters, the pizzeria, and the missing children incident, and in the cut content, we will also see some actual creepy & horrific moments with the kills & bloody stuff done on screen, and many more, & I hope all the cut content are part of the DVD version of the actual movie because as much as I enjoyed this film, I feel like this film was lacking a lot of horror, flashbacks, & deaths because it would have made the film so much scarier & better written than what we got in the actual movie.
i loved the ominous shadow of trauma that has so much potential for Vanessa. I highly anticipate flashbacks of her childhood being corrupted by Afton in the second movie. good option for storytelling :)
In the teaser footage at the end of the In Space game, Afton seems to scream, and I did think "why aren't you screaming?! That has to be agonising!" But to know it was just cut. Also, it being a PG-13 in American explains why for a UK 15 (although I don't usually watch horror) it seemed so tame.

I keep hearing people call them “fixed” when I think the more accurate term should be “pre-withered” since fixed means they got repaired, but in this, they were fine until they started being withered.
And no, I’m not referring to Withered animatronics from the second game.
They should release an extended edition of the blu ray in January
while i do think the final movie had a few pacing issues that couldve been improved with a longer runtime, sometimes its better to cut things than to keep them in even if they are cool. just how production works, im not upset at any scenes being removed/unused
they really should’ve let the movie be rated R.
The deleted scenes sound so dope and it would’ve saved us from the annoying, inconsiderate kids at the movie theatre.

I honestly would love to see how these cut/deleted scenes will play out, and hoping for all of them to be added back in as a director's cut of the FNAF Movie in physical media releases, like Blu---Rays or DVDs for an example. Speaking of which, after hearing that the movie will have additional cut content in an upcoming DVD release of the movie itself, I'm so happy that we'll be getting something that most of us have been wanting for a while now!
Once again, high hopes for any cut content to be added in any physical media of the FNAF Movie.
I hope Universal and Blum House would release a unrated cut of the movie in the near future

When i was watching i kinda hoped to make the shot in first person and getting jumpscared by bonnie when he opens the light and looks back
Honestly, having a PG-13 version for the kids & an R rated version for the adults might have cleared up some of the disappointment from how the events in the movie were depicted. Just hearing about these cool deleted scenes makes me sad; so I hope that they give that option for the next movie as it would probably be the best way to satisfy both young FNAF fans who don't want to get too scared and adult horror fans looking for something more gory.
I was expecting to actually see the MCI, not in detail of course, but at least see Spring Bonnie luring them to the safe room or something and then maybe see Mike trying to investigate; but it seems those types of scenes got cut out. I feel like the PG-13 rating really held back this movie from exploring the more interesting aspects of the story/lore. I just hope Blumhouse & Scott really consider doing a double release of a PG-13 version & an R rated version for the next movie so that people have the option to choose which one they want to watch. (Not to mention that you won't have to push away any part of the audience who might be interested in watching but give up due to either rating.) I hope we can at least get a Cawthon cut of the movie with all those interesting scenes added in for the Blu-ray.
Those scenes you suggested were never filmed, and there’s no such thing as a Cawthon Cut, the final version is what Scott approved of.

@@AndrewJohn100 I never said that those were actually in the movie. I was saying what I was hoping to see in the movie before having actually seen it in theaters. (Also, when I said I hoped for a Cawthon cut, that was in regards to the cut scenes being possibly added for the Blu-ray, similar to how LOTR had the extended editions since keeping all the scenes would have made the movie too long for people to watch in theaters.)

Me myself I actually enjoyed that he didn't scream. It shows how much wheel power William really had it shows that even though he's in pain he doesn't want to show weakness in front of his victims. What do you think Johnny?
same, to me it was just realistic to his lungs being crushed. he only had 1 gasp of air left so he couldn’t scream realistically
@@bugginonthewall Also LORE-wise, in the books* William has survived many past spring lock failures, which are presumably minor or moderate failures-----so he likely is not only used to the pain, but also well-informed in how to survive a spring-lock failure-----screaming will only vibrate and moisten the spring-locks even more and potentially make it worse (up to a catastrophic-total failure, which probably is 100% fatality rate).
So lore-wise William screaming would only work to lessen the nuances of what a spring-lock suit is and its history down to just crunch-and-scream-machine-O-matic-3000...

@@Fractorification specifics between the universes differ, yes, but moisture and vibration worsening spring-locks is a well established fact----so to your thought perhaps movie William is different, yet more aware of the issues of screaming during a spring-lock failure, to me he seemed to be holding back screams for this purpose.
@@toasteroven6761 fair enough I suppose. It’s just that, at the end of the day, this is fiction and he’s screamed before without any thought into realism considered. If they reshot a version of him not screaming, then it’s most likely due to the age rating. Otherwise, why shoot a screaming version beforehand?

Scott's religious beliefs is the reason why the franchise is getting less and less scary. I'd say release the DIRECTOR'S cut, not creator's cut.

PG-13 movies get away with a lot more than blood trickling down someone's face and some other stuff that was cut (not all of it). I don't really think that can be a proper explanation, since that sort of stuff isn't violent enough.

They should've keep all the scenes, the movie would've been fine maybe better if it was over 2 hours, I get why the guard being dragged scene was cut due to the MPAA breathing down their neck trying to bump it up to R for a little bit of gore.
wow they cut so much good stuff, it feels like this movie would've translated better with an R rating, but oh well. Still disappointed that the cut so much that wasn't even about the rating.

Having a full on Cawthon cut of the film on DVD would be AMAZING!
I don't care if it's over 2 hours and isn't PG13. I will watch and enjoy every second! However, I know that most likely won't be the case, so having at least some of the cut content available on the DVD will still be amazing no matter what and no matter how much they're willing to share! Really looking forward to the DVD release!

The cupcake already did too much in this film- and I am PISSED that it got "the kill" on Afton - but that would make me go from loving the film to hating it.

I'm so annoyed on how they wanted it to be kept PG 13, there was so much stuff that could've been in the movie and would've made it far more enjoyable honestly. I Hope the next movie will actually feature some of the stuff in here that was deleted for being prob not PG 13 for the next film.
As an OG fan this is all I can hope for the next movie, cause gore would've made the animatronics more terrifying in all honesty but hey, that's the way the cookie crumbles i guess

also its confirmed that hank was supposed to die avenging carls death, he got impaled in the mouth by bonnies guitar, and also carl is hanks son.
It was sad that some of the scenes were missing but i don't think it significantly changed the experience because of how good all the performances and well everything else was

I would have really loved to see Bonnie use his guitar to attack people, but I understand it’s inaccurate since this never happens in the games. And also, I’m still not getting why William was bound to die to the Cupcake, it’s gotta have some importance, cause clearly Scott was ok with the Cupcake causing the springlocks to go off
Man, the really should’ve kept William screaming during the spring lock scene, such a shame they cut it for the age rating. It just kinda made the scene underwhelming.

Bro, if some of these scenes were in the movie then it probably would've been a little bit better for some people. Some of these would actually explains some scenes like with Abby distracting Foxy to hide, and also the lore with the news reports and those flashes of the kids getting murdered (but that probably went pass the PG-13 rating)
The movie wasn’t afraid to be a little gory, so I doubt it’s the rating.

The movie was great but I feel like so much could have been improved if it didn't have the pg 13 rating. I understand why but also. GIVE US SCENES WHERE THEY BRUTALLY MAUL THEM ON CAMERA. Anyway hopefully the second movie comes out and hopefully it will be better. But regardless the fnaf movie was amazing and I'm definitely buying the dvd to see the bonus content.
