My hair has always been arm pit length-bra strap length but the pandemic really helped me reach waist length. Because my hair stylist stop accepting appointments I kept my hair in braids, weaves or wigs. My hair grew a lot and retained soo much length
Yes exactly ❤️ I agree ! A lot of the length I retained simply from just leaving it alone in braids under my wigs. Extra constant manipulation causes extra shedding or breakage for my hair texture ❤️
Yes ❤️ I think the best way to grow hair is just to leave it alone, it will grow so fast ❤️

I'm m
That's my goal, is just arm pit length lol that's all I need 🤣
Blue Magic, JBCO, water, leave-in, prenatal vitamins and veggies! :) Currently 3in from waist length!!
vEGgIEs?
@tanai cannon What beand of prenatal vitamins do you take?
What's JBCO?
Jamaican Black Castor Oil
This is the truth, i used it and grew 4inches in just two months
Heat worked for me. I straighten my hair once a month and keep it straight….and do salon quality treatments during wash days like olaplex or briogeo……I clip ANY split ends and its growin so long! I believe stretched out styles grow hair because a lot less tangles = less breakage…..Even keeping your hair in blow out styles if you don’t want to apply a straightener.
But keeping it with my natural curls (was and gos) kept it at a certain length for YEARS. Until I found that group of natural community on RUclips. Stretched out styles work!
Yes i've definitely heard how heat can help & it makes sense.. as long as your not heating & manipulating it everyday i dont see why that wouldn't work
I agree I’m the same. My hair thrives when it is stretched or blown out.
“It is called ...Wild..*checks label*...Growth...*checks label*...Hair Oil.” 😂😂
😅😂😂 I was struggling to remember sis I don’t know why lollll
The best growth I’ve ever had (still having) is a spray bottle with aloe vera juice and a fenugreek tea bag in it as my nightly leave-in. CRAZY growth!
How long u leave the aloe vera fenugreek tea in your hsir
@@deannthomas3761 She leaves it in her hair.
Do you do it every night because I’m trying to grow my hair super long
@@londynaustin7500 yes every night and with jojoba oil.
Where do you get the fenugreek tea bag?
The 4 people who disliked accidentally sneezed and pressed thumbs down. Great video! Thank you, you have such a relaxing voice too ☺️
Kianna A LOL @ “sneezed”😂! Thank you so much for your kind words 💕 I’m glad you enjoyed it !!
I agree! I'm just watching this video and her voice is very soothing! Great video, too!
Nah, they must be balded-headed
You are so pretty!
This was one of the most inspirational natural hair growth videos I've seen. Thank you!
Your hair is GORGEOUS. SERIOUSLY.
I used Wild Growth in high school, it STINKS, but IT WORKS. My hair grew SEVERAL inches.
I'm so happy you came up in my suggested. Honestly such a great video. I hope your channel continues to grow because you have great content! I love wild hair growth too. I've been using it for 2 years now and I feel like it made a big difference as well.
Girl you’re an answered prayer 😭
Thank you for this video, you’re so pretty! Subscribed!
am I the only one who likes the smell of the oil? I dont know it just feels very 'earthy" ☠️
Lol I agree ! I totally don’t mind it at all 😅!
Smells like Indian food
Smells like Whole Foods market
Nope you’re not! I lovvvvvvve the smell
I bought it yesterday it does smell amazing
“ there’s nothing in here that you can’t pronounce “ 🤣🤣 love it girl ! Buying like 3 today 😍😍😍
Chatty Natty 😂😂 I had to let them know sis LOL ! Soon as i can’t pronounce something in a product I automatically question it 😅! And omg yes, it really does work! Hope you like it 🙏🏾💕😘
I’ve ALWAYS enjoyed having thick, full healthy ends (and hair). Trims and cutting damage keeps me from having set backs, never understood not wanting to trim
What is a good vitiman to take for my hair
@@zazalilboy9402 it’s hard to say, you can start with a basic hair, skin and nails vitamin or you can just take a biotin supplement (liquid or pill) you get more of the vitamin with the liquid. Drink lots of water, eat healthier, get your trims when needed and be consistent . Massage your scalp daily, exercise activities the follicles too because your sweating.
If the vitamins don’t seems to help maybe try a collagen powder, one scoop a day in any drink you choose
Tried and true tips!! Love them💕
Once the body vitals are properly nourished nutrients will be delivered to the scalp 💁🏽♀️
Yup !! Exactly, all of that good nutrients will then go right to your scalp 🥰
I have been juicing like crazy. Celery, beets, kaleand orange juice 2-3x a week and using wild growth
@@11940ful update on hair growth girl! Have u noticed changes?
@@chanela.7786 a tiny bit!! I'm washing my hair tomorrow so I'll really notice a change then. I shave off my hair back in January. I've been natural since then. I usually air dry my hair so i can't see its true length because of the shrinkage.
Daphnee D. Update?
Great job girlfriend! You're hair is beautiful! I love water. :) My hair has been a journey with alopecia my whole life, but I still push through. I love my curl pattern. :) I am being more consistent with the wild hair growth oil. Best of luck to everyone's hair journey. :)
Aloe Vera Plant, as a prepoo. I blend it and strain it remove any pulp. Apply to hair, detangle, sit under heated cap. You can add oils like castor oil. It’s like a Hot Oil/Strengthen Treatment. - I’ll definitely try Wild Growth Oil
OoOoo That sounds great ! Im going to try that as well as a pre poo, Thank you for the tip ! 💕
Andddd if you’re like me and you’re lazy and don’t have time for all of that, go to Walmart and buy 100% aloe Vera water. It’s like $7 for a big jug that lasts for monthsssss.
Other than washing in the shower, it is the only water I use in my hair. (Well besides the JBC oil water by as I am for refreshing). And it makes my hair so soft and manageable.
@@maliyahmay20 I literally have had my gallon for months and I use it as a moisturizer and pre poo it’s sooooo good🙌🏾
@@maliyahmay20 I just searched and I see flavor aloe juice or gel but can you post a picture of the water.
@@crystalweddington3688 so I actually started a channel @becomingdoctorcurl and on my rice water video I show the jug!
Idk how to post a picture but I hope that helps!
I love how calm and peaceful your demeanor is ❤️ just bought the oil as well 🤗
Thank you soo much 🥰 !! And yay I hope you love it and it works well for you ❤️❤️!
Can agree Wild Growth does work it has a smell , but it does work! Protective style is key to hair growth and keeping it moisturize !
I love how the pic on her wall says “you got this!” ❤️🔥
You remind of Karen White, just beautiful, I enjoy your video, very educational I learned a lot, for years I abused my hair it stayed breaking off, until I got a hairdresser that shared her knowledge about the do's and dont's of haircare that made a world of difference finally I am getting length and healthy hair.
I’m not gone lie wigs have helped my hair journey tremendously. I prep my real hair with washing, trimming, and oiling my hair and then I braid it up and put the wig on for about 1 month. Also I clip my hair as needed. Throw out the 6 to 8 week rule book. If your hair is unhealthy cut it right away. If it’s healthy then leave it alone
Sis told not one lie in this vid!! So many facts were stated! Thanks for sharing love
i went back to what i did when my mom did my hair i just do protein and deep conditioning and alternate it during the month i stretch my relaxers and i only straighten my hair once a month and trim after a stretch
Thanks for the beautiful video miss Ashley. This jackett also fits you very well!
The Asian beauty supply store by my house. They keep that oil behind the counter... that's how good it is lol thanks for the great review. I agree this oil is the best. My hair grew like grass in the middle of the summer. Lol new subbie here !
See ! They know that people be stealing them LOL it’s legit that good ! I would never lie to y’all 😅
SAME LMAO i was like “ can i get the wild growth oil “ *smiles awkwardly*... but ive been using it for ab 5-6 days and my hair is already growing a lot !!
Mine too lol wild gold in a bottle lol
@@thatssoapril405 do you put it all over your head
Your hair straight is sooo beautiful! & your pictures are stunning
I LOOOVVVEEE Wild Growth Hair oil!! 👏🏾👏🏾
just bought the oil. this is the best time to be using it!
Yes exactly! I agree! The oil truly does work, hope it works for you :) !
Blue hair grease hair growth 🙄🌊
any update?
I used this when I was younger. I always had to add another oil over it to cut down on the smell. There is another oil similar that smells very good but lighter of an oil. Thinking of going back to it during quarantine. My hair is to my waist in the back but I want to grow the front out even and thicker.
I love love love Wild Growth hair oil have been using since 2017….this is my 3rd time using from pixie cuts…I’m done with pixie cuts
Can't believe I'm saying this,, but okay, you've convinced me lol I'll trim my ends off
You can grow your hair using heat. Moderate use at the right temp once a month is fine with heatless styles snd protective styles.
Not for most people just like some people color their hair with no issues but most can't. So why chance it if you are on a healthy hair growth journey😒
You’re right. Some ppls hair thrives w/using heat stretching
It is the flat iron that be frying the hair. Just blow dry on low heat or even cool.
This video was very informative. I actually have that hair oil. I can be so inconsistent when it comes to my hair though
It's March 1st 2021, I've ordered 3 bottles of Wild Growth Oil.... il'l be back in 6 months (Sept 1st). Current length: 8.5" (left nape). I typically retain 3-4" per year.
update??
How did it go?
Sorry ladies, I didn't use it consistently so I have to try again. I measured my hair on 23rd Sept and my nape was 11" (I dusted a couple of times). I put my hair in faux locs on 24th Sept so I'll be more diligent with using the oil and tracking my length.
@@SimoneBrown what about now?
Wild growth definitely works but I wish it didn’t smell so bad
Keidy Garcia Yea I agree with you, the smell is very potent ! And when I say natural .. I mean natural 😅 lol. But I normally use it under my wigs so it’s not too bad but it is something to consider ! 💕
Right?! I haven't used it in 3 weeks bc of the smell
Faith Iyahyi rub some peppermint oil or lavender oil in your hair it will mask the smell and stimulate the scalp!
I use it as well before i go to sleep at night. I'm not so consistent with the use.Consistency is the key!!
Smell is what is blocking my blessing, I cannot stomach the smell ☹️
I have always had hair to passed my armpits. During the pandemic, I washed it and most times put it in a bun. Fast forward July 2021, my hair was at my but. I went last week and cut it to my shoulders😁
I have been using it for years love it
You’re natural hair is so pretty and so healthy looking and so long and great video as always and really great tips and great advice 👍🏾👏🏾🤗.
Mellonee Edgeston Thank you so much Mellonee ☺️💕!! I appreciate it, so glad you enjoyed !!
I use to use wild grow oil and doo gro and it gettting thick!
It’s working great for me!! I also use the Miele rosemary mint oil. My hair is busting out the scalp!!
Yayyy Im so glad its working for you ! Yesss I legit love Mielle hair products.. I legit swear by them b/c my hair thrives with their products !
Girl be spitting facts, thanks for the tips, keep up the good work
thank you for your tips they really helped me a lot
Thack you so much queeeen you're so honest, cultured and sooooo beautiful i loooveee youuuu
bruh u are so pretty omg
I use that some oil and yes it does work!
I cut mine, about an inch short. Got braids. Took braids out, and noticed shedding. Avoiding tension type styles is so so essential to retaining length.
Gonna wear a wig and see how that works.
Yea I lost so much hair went I took my braids out and I had so much build up
i love your video! thank you so much! new subscriber! ❤️
Thank you !! I’m a new subscriber to you too ☺️💕
Surprised @828 subs though it said 828k, your vids so legit
Can you do a skincare video and what moisturizers/sunscreen you use?
This is so good! Love this video. Where do you buy your wigs?
Love your information also very helpful 👍
Yes 👍🏽 Amen to my hair retaining healthy, thick and really longer hair to my waist level/waist length. In the word of God, dedication, commitment to the points in this video and Hairlicious’ videos and prayers. Plus maintaining that.
In the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving Amen Amen
Solid advice!
I have to blow dry my 4c hair it just thick and matted!
Wow you’re just stunning 😍
Omg thank you so so much !! 😘😘😘
New subbie! Girl you are gorgeous!
Thanks for subbing! Thank you so much pretty 😘😘!
Please elaborate on the specific vitamins you take THANKS!!!
Your hair is beautiful! How often do you deep condition? This video is amazing! So informative... New subscriber here!💕
Hi there :) ! Thank you so much! So I like to deep condition every 3 weeks and when washing in between depending on the status of my hair I'll most likely just use regular conditioner.
@@ash_grace You're welcome! Thank you so much for the response!
I used this oil Faithfully for 3 months and it made my thicker and longer… I stopped for about a week and then my hair started to break off same thing happened to my daughter! It grows your hair unnaturally fast and then if u stop using it your hair will break!…
Thank you for this. Not many people talk about this.
Thanks a lot for your video I learned a lot xxx💋
You’re welcome 😊
Gorgeous thank you for the tips😍😍😍, what is your thoughts on JBCO
How would you go about trimming your own hair? Is it best to blow dry it then cut it? Or straighten it (using heat protectant) then cut it? I am curious! Thank you :)
Teach us sis! TEACH US!
Stephanie Etienne If you are teaching a class I will come and take notes 😅! You are the one I should be learning from 😂😘😘😘💕
Ashley Grace aww shucks 🤗🤗❤️
Heat helped my hair grow. before I started keeping my hair straight, it would not grow. My ends aren't as frayed and I don't get any single strand knots. Also detangling is a breeze. Seems like wash and go's and twist outs was damaging my hair.
I can totally see what you mean! Straightening your hair in my opinion can also be a protective style for some people as well. When my hair is straight I don’t have to detangle/ worry about breakage or friction. As long as your ends are sealed it’s okay every once in a while in my opinion because I like to trim my hair straight and check on my progress every few months. As long as it’s healthy, it will always bounce back curly 💜
Same with me. My hair has to have heat.
Same with me
I agree i flat iron my hair once a month and i just oil my ends and roots and brush it through i dont see very much growth doing wash and gos unless its really hot outside then ill do wash and gos or buns.vitamins fruit smoothies and veggies lots of water and your favorite oils and trimming or dusting every 6 months i see hella growth! My hair is at the length in the video straight right now!
How do you oil your scalp daily while wearing wigs? I usually glue mine down & can only lift the back part up.
You are so pretty! 😊
Hi I love your video and your hair is beautiful! 💕 How do you apply the oil?
wild growth hair oil is amazing.
The next wash day I will! I have so many straight pieces T^T
I just knew you were going to pull up that oil! I wish I wasn’t allergic. My hair LOVES it my scalp did not. HIGHLY irritated lol.
I've been using this oil for at least 15 years now, and, like you, my hair loves it but my scalp is a different story. So, I only use it once a week during my pre-poo. This way my hair reaps the benefits and not the irritation.👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
@@nevrcn4get thank you!! That’s such a good idea!
Hair is always growing. Your hair did break off but it was breaking off at the same rate it was growing.
Hi Ashley! Where do you purchase your wigs from? What type of wigs do you get?
Gorgeoussss hair
I wash my hair and brush it shake it out and it grows just fine , I got wavy hair so if I brush it , it will get puffy .
I love your vibe
Thank you so so much 🥰!!
I used that same oil and my hair did not like it...My hair started to fall out but I do
know my hair does love olive oil.
I get my hair box braids and five cornrows next time I get my hair crochet braids is that better please let me know
This oil instantly makes my scalp itch odee. I’ve tried it a few different times and every times it does.
Jas C Oh no that sucks 😕! ... it could be one of the many oils they use within the product that your scalp doesn’t respond well to. I know peppermint oil depending on a persons scalp sensitivity can cause that as well, but yea I would just stop using this oil until you find a better oil that works for your scalp 💕
Nickey Nay interesting information.... I tend to have an itchy scalp but I also deal with Dermatitis. Any tips for that would be awesome 🙏🏽.
My scalp itched the same way grrrr 😖 but I added some castor oil to it and the itching stopped!!
It could be the coconut oil. My scalp doesnt like coconut oil
....someone said it was because your hair is growing🤷🏽♀️
I remember watching this video last year! Girl I didn’t listen with my hardheaded self 🤣 I gotta do better.
Tips for keeping hair moisturized when blowdried? I usually moisturize with water and a leave in...but I know using that method isn't the best for straight hair. Any products anyone can recommend?
Try lightly misting it every night and then putting it in some large twists to stretch your hair
The wild growth oil gave me some horrible bumps on my scalp and it was so itchy. Like the worst itch I’ve ever had...once I stopped using it the bumps and itchiness went away. Then I threw away the wild growth oil lol. It wasn’t worth all that craziness happening to my scalp. It seems like other ppl had better luck with it than me lol...I think the oil did work in growing back hair but at the same time I also think it was giving me bald spots idk....I just know it made matters worse for me ... this was over a year or two ago.
Right I’m so scared to try it, some ppl have bad experiences and others have good experiences
You maybe allergic to some of the ingredients in the Wild Growth oil. Try Doo grow stimulating hair oil. I use it and it smells way better and it grew my hair!
You probably was allergic to certain ingredients in the wild growth oil. Sorry for the two years late reply
Heat can actually grow your hair and help with length retention if you are doing it right… there are many bsl and waist length straight hair naturals
As soon as you said that i grabbed my glass of water😅😅
LOL 😂 yesss it’s so essential to that hair growth !
@@ash_grace ❤❤❤
Could you make a list of your favourite affordable wigs and then your favourite wigs that were maleable and useful for the modelling industry
Also a good daily vitamin for women or men or people in general.
So honestly my 1st mistake is that I never truly had an affordable wig 🥴 idk who I thought I was lol.. that is something I am going to be looking at next. I always had wigs that were a couple hundred simply because I lacked knowledge of good quality cheaper wigs at the moment ! But I got y’all ! 💜 And honestly Sea moss is really good for you. I don’t take any daily Vits at the moment but I tend to do sea moss gel daily
BeAuTiFuL... 😍
Doesn't using heat protectant spray help? I just can't break away from blow drying it after my weekly wash and deep condition. I use a flat iron once or twice a month.
Yes Heat protectant spray does help, I use it all the time when I put heat in my hair. However it doesn't cancel out any and all damage that it could do to your hair. Its like a mask for example.. a mask does help protect us against Covid to diminish the risk.. however, its not 100 percent protection to where as long as you wear it you'll never get covid-19..its just simply not true lol. Same thing with heat protectant.. it just reduces the risk of damage. As long as you are careful and use the proper heat settings, your hair will keep thriving 🥰
You’re so pretty 🥰😍
Thank you
Wish I saw the back of your hair in the before picture
Does clip ins stunt your growth or have too much tension?
Drink lots. Of. Water eat green vegetables nuts cashews walnuts peanuts almonds .hair mask leave in conditioner. .shampoo. No chemicals
Who cute your hair. She did an amazing job. Are you in Los Angeles?
My second big chop was the best decision I ever made. Don’t “transition” just cut it. You will thank us later
How often do you use the oil? Wet or dry hair? Wash out?
Queen Rae91 At least 3-4 times a week. I normally use it when my hair is dry in cornrows under my wigs as a protective style .. but it can be used on wet or dry hair 💕
Thank you so much!!
It works trust me!
I grew little toward hole hair. How name oil grease give me
How often did u oil ur hair or scalp for the 6 months?
