You can tell Charles loves his X-men so much Gambits death was damn near unbearable for him. Ughhh X-men 97 is so good😭😭

The grief is too much
The title is confirmed in episode 10. Apocalypse has Gambit's card so Apocalypse must have found Gambit's body then Gambit can come back in succeeding seasons.
As a Horseman of Apocalypse
This scene makes me believe that of the two main characters that die in episode 5, Gambit was the only one that actually died. As while he sensed passively the passing of Gambit, he never sensed the passing of Magneto.
Whiiiich means on top of everything else, Rogue is going to spend the rest of the series boinking Mags with the guilt of her cheating being mitigated by Gambit being dead. Wheeeee... I hate it.

Magneto might have a point about Xavier’s way, but the minute he realized that his children weren’t okay without him, Xavier immediately left his love and went straight to help them.
Superb voice acting by Ross Marquand as Xavier.

He sensed the entire genocide of Genosha. Those are the skeletons sitting at the desks. It's just that Gambit was the most meaningful to him
Every time a X-Men dies Professor X suffers horiffically because he is psychically linked to all of them and he refuses to leave his children when they die so he has to experience not only death and fear but also he expereinces even more grief because he sees them all as his children
Interesting that it was only Gambit in the vision and not Magneto... Wonder if he actually survived?
I think those who got hit by the Sentinel blast rays may have survived including Magneto, Banshee, and probably Madelyne. But Gambit was the only one who got actually got impaled and caught in the Sentinel explosion and only his dead body was found.

Ots cause Gambit died and Charles could sense that Genosha fell and Gambit died along with so many mutants since he psychically linked to his xmen, as well as being able to tap into Mutant consciousness

Anyone know the theme at the start before the globe starts spinning I swear I heard it before and I can't remember a name to look for it or anyone know a track name for it to look?
It played briefly in episode 2 when Magneto was talking to the UN members up in the stratosphere.
Was that not a slick New Sun reference though? With the rays behind gambit head.

Another guest could be whenever you love someone so much this specifically your children you can feel their hurts and their pains you connected you can feel when they're sick or happy or sad when my oldest brother died d some years ago I was working and I felt it but I wasn't sure what that feeling was till after someone called me and it confirmed that feeling I had, life is crazy right now so I think they did that perfect this animation
I believe his subconscious brings up a deep dive into the Cosmos after he says "we are all children of the atom. " The astral plain probably works in the same way as the dream realm, so when he said that out loud, he looked at the globe which is of Earth and that sent his telepathy out towards Earth's direction. Gambit being special to him, Sends the news of Genosha with him like a ghost. And knowing his own telepathy he analyzes his own visions like any good psychologist would.

It is possible that Gambit made a pact with Ghostrider in case he dies? Perhaps Gambit was the only one to survive staring at Ghostrider eyes and that explains Gambit’s black eyes. So now that Gambit is dead, he might return as a new Ghostrider? ( Since Xavier vision saw a Skeleton Gambit )

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking when I seen the sacrifice of the needle and Gambit and the brand new comments that just aired the beginning of this year there was a sacrifice and death of mutants Gambit being one of them I believe mystuiqe was the other
honestly i hope so. they've been good at adapting comic storylines in ways that are more streamlined and i think that could serve the krakoa arc well
Yeah that’s true. But we probably won’t get krakoa until season two if they even do krakoa. Anyways while I’m writing this it’s tuesday so if anyone reads this after watching the next episode tomorrow tell me how it goes. Probably won’t watch the episode until later

Why can he walk in his own mind (astral plane)? Cuz they're in their heads. If you mean in the real world, That's literally an entire scene showing he's walking in armor to assist him walking. Its an entire plot point in the episode.
This was a kind of a let down episode after the high point of 5.
