Much appreciated (!) from an alumnus of David Hardy's Atelier of Classical Realism in Oakland, CA. Happy memories!

This is an amazing video of artists I have never heard. Sadly, It is to my detriment and misfortune. I was born in the wrong era, time and location. These are the painters I would have modeled my life and art career. I weep at my loss.

Great presentation. It would be nice to dedicate a minute or two of the presentations to discuss how the artists' teachers taught painting techniques to these masters. It is always a mystery that how one master taught painting techniques to another master!! Thank you.

Another brilliant and much needed video. Thanks!! The work you are doing to get these brilliant 19th-century artists known to the general public is marvellous.
A pedantic point about pronunciation (Italian is tricky, especially when it comes to people's names): Tallone's name is pronounced CHEH-sa-ray tal-OH-ney and Mancini is man-CHEE-nee. Bignami is pronounced bin-YAH-mee (GN in Italan is pronounced NY, just as GL is pronounced LY).
(If these pronunciation corrections are a drag, please let me know and I'll stop!!)

Michael, Thanks, we always like hearing from you. No one here speaks Italian so it is a challenge. We might need you as an advisor here, but his story and work need to be out there. Our real hope is to shed light on real talent and the stories around the artists (if they can be found). If you have others needful of recognition-send our way. Thanks again.

This was great. I knew nothing about him. Seems you should do one also on the guy Sargent called the greatest living painter. In any event, I really enjoyed this.
