That's a tough one Frank's would be so cool percy's would be awesome but I agree with hazel she's uncursed so I could be rich and mist powers would be awesome
Also one thing that's often overlooked - Percy did cause that Volcano to erupt in the battle of the labyrinth so it could very well be possible that he might have access to the Earthshaker powers from his dad but they are just dormant for now.
He erupted it cut he summoned water from his body, the water evaporated, and the lagre amounts of steam caused super high pressure that blew up the volcano
@@ubel539 I like that Percy has the ability to create water. Because, if he was in a place with zero water and was very hot he can't use water (his primary source of power). But, he doesn't use it all the time because it's draining.
@@arvoredeuva5485 I know :) But that's just as far as his then discovered powers go. All I'm saying is geokinesis might be dormant & get awakened at a later point.
I love to imagine Nico's potential when he's older - perhaps Percy's age (16-17). If he can do so much at the young age he's at, I really want to see where his powers would take him and what new talents he could unlock as he grows and is able to harness his power easily and with fewer endurance setbacks.
That is so true. If Percy can kill Medusa and the Minotaur at age 12 while Nico can summon army of skeletons at that age. Then damn at 16, it will be unimaginable of what he can do
If I could remember, all Hercules have done when he was a demigod, Percy managed to top it all at the age of 17. He doubled all of Hercules’ feats and accomplishments
He did even better. Spoilers ahead for the Chalice of the Gods in case someone didn’t read it: In order to acquire the Chalice and return it to Ganymede, Percy challenged Geras (the god of old age) to a fight. Being the deity of old age, Geras has the weight of millennia on his shoulders and is practically impossible to beat in a duel of strength. Only one demigod had even managed to bring Geras to a draw, that being Hercules. Percy is about to lose the fight when he reflects on how he’d love to grow old with Annabeth and Grover and realizes that he shouldn’t be scared of old age, for he chose to live his life when he turned down inmortality and he should enjoy life for what it is. Percy hugs Geras, telling he loves him (as in, he loves the life he wants for him and values Geras’ sacrifice). Geras is touched, because nobody ever valued old age and therefore nobody cared about him. By showing Geras that he cared, Percy did even better than Hercules (who we are told several times that he was the biggest jerk in Ancient Greece).
@@tja3567 He controlled Akhlys's poison, tears, saliva, and whatever other liquid on her he could think of, then separately he bent the Rivers of the Underworld out of Tartarus's "veins" at the Doors of Death. He's never specifically called out as manipulating blood (I reread the books a few days ago), but he compares the rivers in Tartarus to his blood a while before weaponizing them
Percy is both incredibly powerful as the son of poseidon as well incredibly capable as a warrior not to mention despite not being the smartest his battle iq is actually incredibly high
honestly I think percy is quite smart though because things were just not explained to him after he was thrown into the world but he actually has an incredible memory and seemed quite smart. like I was reading the books again this week and he was remembering things he learnt in Mr Brunner class in the last olympian. I think everyone just played him down as stupid even though he actually isn't and he has a really hi battle iq as well
Nico himself said that when he stands beside Percy, it feels like he's beside a god. Standing against tartarus himself is just crazy, this kid is a war machine
frr percy and annabeth would have died in tartarus if they didn’t find Bob nico is a legend also the fact that he had to keep secrets between the existence of the camps is crazy
Another kind reminder that Annabeth held the sky for around an entire day but no one remembers cuz they were focused on Percy holding it for all of 5 minutes
I refuse to accept that because Annabeth has the stupidest character traits for that. She’s literally a contradiction of herself, i don’t understand where Rick was going with her
Percy Jackson has saved the world multiple times, he's on another level. They don't really mention what Jason has done before. Nico I can understand being up top he's able to not only teleporr himself but other people and he moved a giant statue that is about 2 to 3 stories tall. But percy has fought almost every Greek monster known and unknown at this point. He's fought God's, titans, and Giants, in the later books he chokes a goddess with her own poison for Zeus sake. Honestly gods should fear Percy at this point.
They do fear him, why do you think wanted to kill him when they found out about him? Remember the Gods know the faith of every demigod, they know what they're capable of
Percy is the most powerful demigod said by Nico himself. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. I feel like Thalia should be higher, she has the blessing of artemis which makes her faster and a bit stronger than normal demigods. She went toe to toe with Percy and she defeated Luke with her combat skills.
I totally agree! She’s basically semi-immortal. Rick nerfed her by making her afraid of heights. She would have been so much more powerful if she could fly and control the winds
The thing is demigods become more powerful as they age. And, Thalia couldn't handle 13 years old Percy when she was 16. In fact, Percy was going to win when Oracle interrupted. As for speed and strenght, while she may be far stronger and faster than normal demigods(due to her being a child of big three) she is still far weaker and slower than Jason, Percy, Nico. When Percy and Jason fought, Piper said that she couldn't see them. And, the same Piper saw giants in slow motion. The thing that makes her seem powerful is her character and courage. Other, than that she hasn't done anything impressive to match Argo 2 demigods.
@@Kbax3614 Okay.... But you gotta remember that Thalia has been a tree for almost 7/6 years so when she lost against Percy is understandable why? Percy at that age still had some training while Thalia on the other hand has been surviving on the streets since she was 11 l think. She's self thaught, she didn't get the training percy got from chiron, nico from ghost in the underworld and Jason from Camp Jupiter. And to defeat Luke who's been called as the best swordsman in 300 years is a big deal. Luke could probably go toe to toe with jason in terms of combat. In that creek fight, let's be real here....... I love percy but without the water he would've been a roasted fish. The water kept healing him while thalia on the other hand had no healing powers. She also got the blessing of artemis which makes her stronger and faster and the fact that she's a child of the big three, that makes her one hell of a demigod. They srsly nerfed her by making her afraid of heights. Ofc at the moment she's not as powerful as Jason, Percy or Nico but she has the potential to be atleast more powerful than Jason and Nico. She deserves to be higher on this list. I would've given her Leo's spot. Thunder, lightning beats Fire from what we've learned from Avatar TLA. And leo has no combat skills as good as Thalia. No way in hell are Frank, Leo, Piper (Maybe) and Hazel stronger than her.
She never actually went “toe to toe” with Percy. They had a confrontation back when Percy was 14. She sent a lightning bolt at him (her literal strongest attack), he recovered in 3 seconds, and lifted an entire creek that would’ve drowned her with little to no effect. Now, during and after HOO, Percy is far far far more powerful than he was then, and we really don’t know how powerful she is rn. If you’re using that lopsided confrontation from when they were 14, that doesn’t apply right now.
I believe Annabeth is really underrated in terms of powers. Yes she has no “magic” except her insane intelligence, but she is an extremely skilled fighter which we often forget. She managed to survive on her own at age 7 before finding Luke and Thalia, she has such knowledge on myths that she knows how to defeat enemies way more easily than others. So of cours she is not like Percy or Leo; but at least she surpasses Piper. By a lot. In terms of experience, also 1v1 combat. Yes Piper has charmspeak but if someone can escape it it’s annabeth. My girl doesn’t get enough credit 😭
@@ashanteunderwood3736 yes athena did help her a bit; but we have to keep in mind that gods are allowed very few interventions in demigods path, even more regarding their children. She did not receive much more help than any of the other 7
When it comes to Annabeth we have to remember the information that we have also gotten about her family with in the Magnes Chase book There is so much more to Annabeth that we don't even know
Powers and abilities are different things, fighting is something they all can learn, she's good at it because she fights since she was 7yo. But if it was a list based on the best demigods, she'd definitely be top 3
A reminder for the Nico fan club, no he is not more powerful than Percy. Nico is very powerful (and should be tied for second on this list) but, Percy is in his own league currently(who knows what will happen in the solangelo book).
Yup Nico is powerful but to me he is a glass cannon. He can dish out a lot of damage, but he is young and his powers take a lot of energy. We see what shadowtravel does to Nico, when he first learned how to do it it kept knocking him out. Percy meanwhile is just an all round good fighter. Everything about him is just legendary, and he’s more experienced than Nico. Literally every character (including Nico and Hazel I believe) say that he’s the most powerful demigod they’ve seen
@Percy Potter It’s not a series, it’s just one book. But it has been confirmed and if I’m correct, the writing part of the process is already done and it’s coming out next year.
@@AbolaSpartan I think Nico has a ton of potential maybe not be as powerful as Percy, but he's only 15 and he gets more powerful as he grows so come time he could absolutely be one of the most powerful demigods ever
I think it's pretty obvious Percy should be one but the crazy part is that he still has much more potential since he hasn't tapped into that Neptune side of his god powers with earthquakes which would make an already considered strongest demigod into a undisputed #1 demigod
@Elaina Miller Was it? I gotta read the books again. But there was also that time where he Destroyed that Bridge in Last Olympian. The one that killed Micheal yew I think. I do remember hepeastus mentioning to Percy something like this "you're the son of the Earthshaker lad"..... Percy at that time was on calypsos island.
I just realized that Percy will most likely be 18ish by the next series of books. He will be one of the few Demi gods to make it to adulthood. this also opens up room for KIDS.
Rick has stated that he doesn’t want to make Percy age, so I think most of the future series that we’re going to get are going to be extremely close to one another, overlapping a lot. Some might even be prequels.
@@Wembo_o Not really. As the fans of the series grow older, they become less likely to read the newer books. The character growing up alongside the readers, as well as the maturity of the books increasing, could lead to fans sticking around longer. Yes… new young kids would be coming to he series as he years go by, but the numbers would be ever decreasing. But it depends entirely on what Rick wants to do. And whatever he decides is neither better or worse then the other options he had. If he wants to continue the series similar to Harry Potter, having the protagonist and maturity of the series increase as the original fans age, we’re here to support it. If he wants to keep it in the teenager demographic, and continue making stories with younger characters, then we’re also here to support it.
EXACTLY Percy is the most powerful demigod said by Nico himself. Nico has cool powers and all but water is everywhere so Percy is more powerful, change my mind
@@rythena8680 looking at it in a logical view, I think you're right. Percy can control blood. But know from the kind of person percy is I doubt he will ever bring himself to do something like that. Even in a life and death combat.
@@jide.ade. plus it can be very dangerous. He could accidentally snap someone's neck. Or, he could pull the blood out of someone instead of controlling them like a puppet. Percy would never go to that level.
Personally, I think Hazel's powers are really underrated. She killed the guards to the library incredibly fast in the Tyrant's Tomb, she's able to teleport two different ways, and she was able to use her mist control to defeat a much more experienced sorceress with phenomenal powers.
She single-handedly stopped Gaea from rising as a CHILD who had never been trained in combat, so raw power alone. Being able to control the most in insanely OP on its own, and that’s without touching her Pluto powers, knwoledge of the underground, her gems and precious metals, the curses she was able to inflict unintentionally, plus on a physical level she’s a highly trained Roman soldier who has literally the fastest horse to ever live, talk about a frightening cavalry. But yeah control over the Mist alone is like top five minimum.
Very true points on Nico! He’s my favourite by far but id really love to see his capabilities when he isn’t drained or hurt as well as older. The more he trains and the better his endurance using his abilities the more powerful he’d become. I really can’t wait to see more of him!
Truthfully, if Percy had gone to Tartarus alone, he would’ve been ten times more powerful. For example: Without Annabeth stopping him, he would’ve learned how to bloodbend. He also would’ve had the ability to control the river Styx. ( Edit: I see yall’s points; I didn’t think about that lol- 😭)
I think hazel’s pluto powers can be very useful in combat like imagine one second you’re fighting the next you get hit with a brick of gold in the head
She has a feat of disarming three of the seven while they are possessed and we know for a fact her ability works on weapons so nothing is stopping her from disarming by her opponents and yeeting there weapon miles away. Also she would solo Festus cause of this ability like seriously Festus is so dead if he ever needs to fight Hazel.
See, I agree that Percy is probably the most powerful, but I think he's probably the only Riordanverse character I can think of who I would classify as overpowered. Nico comes close, but the fact that you talked about that using his powers too much exhausts him is enough to tip him out of that zone for me. Percy, however, has weaknesses, but they have almost nothing to do with his powers.
@@mndhmonkepineaplegang Because Frank, as son of one of the most powerful/important Roman gods (which can also bestow literal temporary invincibility to his children if they're worthy enough) plus he's a descendant of Neptune, with the powers of Periclymenus (which allows him to "be anything" according to his family and Mars, so he's not limited to animals and the fact that Mars agrees with "anything" means that if he familiarizes himself enough with anything from mythology he can become it). In theory, Frank can become Percy, end his attack as Nico, and then finish you off by stomping on you as Typhon
I really feel like Leo deserves his spot on the list because there is no greater power than intelligence He could probably outthink most of the people above him and his ability to work under harsh conditions is something truly admirable Also I’m biased towards him HES MY FAVORITE
Right, it sorta comes down to the Batman dilemma. We all know Batman vs Superman doesn't end well for Batman assuming Superman isn't messing around. But Batman with prep time probably wins every time. If Leo can workshop the problem he can win. But say someone just walks up and stabs him in the throat with no warning - he's far from immortal, and he isn't a demigod of healing. Cauterization would only get you so far considering internal bleeding. But I agree, it's remarkable how far the ability to make things can take you in a world of gods.
@@mysticturtle997 I mean, I wouldn't say he's on par with Batman, but he's shown to be an incredible strategist in the books. For instance, once he gets his hands on the Archimedes Sphere, he's practically unstoppable
@@dissolution9843 yeah, but leo actually has really strong powers, with very little thinking time (probably less than a day of prep) he could beat jason wih ease
Honestly I really agree with these ranking like I thought i would've been annoyed that nico wasn't #2 but your explanation about how all that he went through with tartarous and how it impacted his physical self made a lot of sense, also I'm so fucking happy that you put the kane siblings so high because they are so powerful but not many people recognize that and I'm happy you did
I really like how you ranked it. The only thing I would change if it were me making up the list would be moving Reyna up a peg or two considering she could take on a giant pretty much single handedly in 5 minutes.
I think my favorite Percy feat comes at the end of Son of Neptune. Gianrs are built up as these horrifying anti-gods even more dangerous than titans that require demigods and gods to team up to defeat them. So what does Percy do when he meets one? Takes it down himself, of course, and smashes its face with a statue (of a god).
Percy hypothetically could have all 4 elements under his power. He gains earth and water and storms(air powers) all from his dad, and uses them all at least once. But he also is proven to be fireproof, multiple times.
@@almond4305 he has yet to actually be burned in a severe way, im calling that fireproof until something proves otherwise. Either way, resistance isn’t bad, considering homie shouldn’t have any fire at all. But nah, Manz went and casually became the Avatar
Nah, he didn't inherit geokinesis, he said it himself in one of the demigod side books. Which is a shame, really, I thought he had inherited it myself because he caused that gigantic eruption
@@arvoredeuva5485 he did use his earthquake powers in that volcano. Hephaestus mentioned it later on the book. Something bout " you forget that your father's called the Earthshaker something"

annabeth should be higher, she has good stamina shown by her holding up the sky for A FULL WEEK while percy could barely hold it for 15 mins. She is a skilled knife fighter holdin Kronos at a stand still temporarily even though she was exhausted. In hand to hand combat she might be the best character we have seen so far, flipping percy over her head and defeating an arai with her bare hands. She and Jason would have been evenly matched (powers aside). An underrated character
1. Holding up the sky is a feat of will not strength 2. She could beat Jason in a fight WITH powers Annabeth should absolutely be ranked higher(especially higher than piper this dudes on crack) and so should Clarisse
I don't know where you got the idea that she held the sky for a full week. Percy dreamed her taking it and Artemis relieving her in subsequent nights so at most she held it for 24 hours. However there is a good chance that him dreaming the events was not simultaneous with them taking place so it is likely she held it for a shorter amount of time.
@@kimicrewe4443 and Jason's been training since 2-3, and again, his "divine" powers are extremely superior compared to Annabeth's, because of who their fathers respectively are
After nearly dying in the Blood of Olympus, Nico's powers haven't fully recovered in 1 the year since then, once he is around top 3. He can summon hoards of the undead, and his sword is also wicked, much deadlier, if he can hone his sword skills while his body and abilities recuperate, he will be a force to reckon with.
I'm sick with the spicy cough rn so I was browsing and suddenly stumbled upon this. It's been a hot minute since my Riordanverse phase but this was pretty interesting ngl. Nice evaluations!
Absolutely fantastic video bro! The editing and explanations you gave were very well done. I also thought it was awesome you tier ranked the characters. Also I agree with basically everything here lmao! 🤟
I haven't even thought about this series in years but this video popped up into my recommended and now I'm right back in 6th grade ready to binge read the whole series for the fifth time!
Okay, I just think that Meg should be higher on this list. I mean she’s probably one of the most powerful demigods of Demeter considering she can use plants to teleport, flick fruit, and enhance growing of plants, including many more. Not to mention being trained by Lu and Nero makes her fighting really great and she’s not even a teenager.
Those were really amazing points and I agree with them all! I put Meg so low because of her age, her lack of experience, and just because we haven’t really seen too much of her powers
@@itzshadow8 Meg is in the same category as Jason, Percy and Nico - her godly parent, Demeter, comes from the same generation of gods as the Big Three. She could achieve similar levels of power.
I agree with almost everything, but I believe Meg and Reyna should be a bit higher. Reyna because even though her powers don’t work well 1v 1, in the book series she used them very well being able to accomplish things people with the same abilities would have been able to. Then Meg, (I’m going off what another comment said so I would sound similar) is probably one of the most powerful children of Demeter and she can teleport using plants which can be used to her advantage a lot. She can also summon peach which I believe is a pretty rare ability, adding onto all that she was trained by both Lu and Nero allowing her to have excellent fighting skills. Ah that was long, but other than those two demigods I agree with everything else :)
If we're including hosts, i think carter and sadie's uncle deserves a spot in the top 5, sure he doesn't have too many feets of pure fighting, but he is the first choice for chief lecturn after old guy and ice cream dude, and it was implied that the chief lecturn was supposed to be stronger than the pharoah in order to protect him. Plus he's the host of set, one of the top gods in that pantheon, which means 2 things 1. Anything we saw set do in red pyramid, he can probably do to a lesser extent 2. He runs off chaos instead of order, meaning the worse things get on the battlefield, he probably gets stronger
It's more than evident that Percy is the most powerful demigod alive.... But I wonder if Nico would become the strongest as he ages. They're both children of the big three, and Nico definitely has incredible powers, that's why they take such a toll on his body. Maybe as he grows physically stronger, he'll be unbeatable.
I dont think that Nico will be better than Percy, but he at least will be able to stand his ground. Swordmanship alone is incomparable between the two, the only thing giving Percy a hard time would be the deadly touch I think, but Percys agility and Battle IQ are also above Nicos. Also Nicos Powers exhaust him too much, and probably will always leave a big gap in stamina everytime he uses them, while Percy can just dip into a bit of water and be the completely refreshed.
Honestly i agree with most pick but i really think you did reyna dirty. I mean even piper in blood of olympus said that she should probably be banned from capture the flag because she probably could go solo against all of the chb and still win. Also zoe should probably be in the list at the bottom 5
Totally forgot about Zoe, but I can see Reyna taking Meg or Luke’s spot. I just put her so low because her demigod powers were pretty useless in a 1v1, and ppl like Annabeth and Luke I feel are better fighters
@@pjoworld honestly i dont think annabeth is a better fighter and still since shhe os a roman demigod she mostly will be fighting in a legion which means her powers will usually be useful
@@tolis19 I can see why some would think Reyna is a better fighter, however for this video, I based it off of a 1v1 circumstance so Reyna wouldn’t have any allies and her powers wouldn’t be helpful
Agree. Like she went through Mediterranean sea alone to catch up the Seven only with her pegasus. Also, if Frank and Clarisse mentioned to be blessed by Ares/Mars in this vid, so Reyna's blessings from Athena and Bellona and win against Orion without a comrades should be considered too
Huzzah Leo has made it in the top 5. He'd always been my favorite character. He's a genius who built the Argo 2, lots of gadgets that helped the demigods, has fire immunity, can toss balls of fire at his opponents, and even ignite himself aflame. Not to mention unlike any other hero, he made a sacrifice to end Gaeas reign by allowing himself to be killed by Octavian with Gaea in Festus's grasp. No other hero has willingly sacrificed themselves like he has.
"Many people might disagree with Leo being in the top 5" Me: "If a character can 1v1 a goddess and actually come out on top with no outside interference in his favor, they are AT LEAST top 5 unless we have 5 stronger characters that have 1v1'd a god"
That's not true, Percy has done that uncountable times. First he sacrifices himself by fighting ARES one on one, then holding off the telekhines, agreeing to the prophecy even though he knew he might have gotten killed, agreeing to Nico's plan, carrying the sky, agreeing to fight Geae's son, and so many more times even I can't remember. So think twice before you say something like that
AGREED! I would have placed Leo at maybe top 3. I believe he is so often overlooked. I mean, that dude is really smart, probably close to Annabeth's level. If he is smart enough to build a whole flying ship and those crazy iventions, he has to be pretty good. He is also very witty, he often gets out of tight trouble really fast and easily. With his fire abilities and talent to be able to build literally ANYTHING, he could be extremely powerful if only they didn't repress his full powers.
Leo deserves more credit where it’s due. Never liked how he was the 7th wheel in the crew. He did so much from behind the scenes, he built the Argo 2 and repaired it himself after it gets damaged. He used his wits to escape dangerous situations and he spent gods know how long building the Argo possibly without breaks or sleep.
I don't see a lot of people mentioning these points so ill put them here. First, that time when Percy was cleaning those horse stables and summoned so much water from small fossilized shells, because "Everything used to be underwater" a power that kind of got forgotten about which basically makes him overpowered considering he doesn't even need a water source nearby to summon large amounts of water. Second of all, when Percy fought Hyperion in TLO when he first summoned a hurricane. It described flickers of lightning in his storm. I think that also got overlooked later but man, lightning as a son of Poseidon. Finally the evolution of his powers. Again, the first time we see the hurricane its described as small and around him only. In demigods and magicians its described as the size of a cul-de-sac. Pretty huge.
Exactly. Sure, Percy is *oblivious* but he hides his intelligence and cleverness. Annabeth is a daughter of Athena and Percy's girlfriend, but that doesn't mean that we should overlook the fact that Percy is super smart. He just doesn't like to deliberately show it. Same with Leo. He doesn't like to show to show his pain and intelligence until it is required.
am i the only one who believes jason was beginning to truely (re)discover himself, and become more powerful before his untimely demise? there’s a few examples of this in the burning maze. the most obvious one is just the sheer number of lightning bolts he was able to summon on the fleet of ships when before it was draining for him to just do a singular one. i could be wrong but i think he had the most potential out of anyone on this list but it was stumped multiple times (most notably when he lost his memory and basically had to relearn his powers) for all we know jason could have been significantly stronger before he lost his memory (which was not properly restored like percy’s)
I do not agree with him having the most potential, just because, as many other comments already mentioned, Percy has the power of Earthquakes which he never used, can pretty much blood bend, and also heal and revitalise when only even touching water. So he can just dip his hand in water and won't be exhausted anymore wich is pretty much OP, and as we all know water is pretty much everywhere. And also comparing swordsmanship Percy is way above, I mean he dueled Ares when he was 12... thats pretty much unthinkable for literally anyone else on the list. ( btw already hyped for that part in the series coming up)
I think Jason is restricted by the way he grew up in Camp Jupiter. They are going for teamwork and strategic moves as a legion, while Camp Half-Blood Philosphy is "nobody is going to help you outside", u need to surive by yourself or at least have some teamwork in a small group. If Jason will free himself, he could get more powerful, but he could never overcome the expierence of Percy.
Jason doesn’t even have more potential than Frank much less Percy or Nico and his best feat is bringing down Krios with his bare hands, after attacking the mount Tampalis with the legion. While Percy’s feat of beating Ares in a battle to first blood is already better than that and he was 12
@@theonlyace1724 I agree camp half blood you learn to fend for yourself before you learn to work together and it makes them better at individual combat
If the series made a shred of sense, Jason would be the best demigod alive. Trained as a demigod since he was a baby, and son of the most powerful god. Both experience and genetics. But Rick made Percy so OP it's laughable, I don't know why he did that. He barely has a third of Jason's training, and has worse genetics. Same with Nico. But well, I guess the series isn't made to make sense, just to be entertaining.
I defeated the god of fighting at age 12, defeated both the Minotaur and Medusa at age 12, outsmarted and escaped Hades at age 12, beat the general of Kronos is army at 15, *HELD UP THE SKY* ,helped defeat the hydra,Mastered using water at age 15, befriended over 12 demigods and five gods, found and retrievers Zeus’s lightning bolt after it got stolen by Aries, *LEARNED BLOOD,LAVA AND ANY OTHER LIQUID.* and I am still alive.
In defence of the Kane Chronicles and the Magnus Chase trilogy, they weren’t as fleshed out or heightened up as the Graeco-Roman contingent, mostly from their respective series being only 3 books long while Percy & Co sported a pentalogy that had 2 follow-up series.
Once nico is healthier and older and more experienced then he’s going to be even more powerful. Only reason he’s not higher is that he’s one of the youngest demigods rn and he’s physically and mentally in bad shape. Damn all these kids need therapy.
I feel like Jason should be a little bit higher but it can't be helped, I guess. He really was dealt the short end of the stick throughout the books but when he did go all out, it was glorious. For example, when he and percy were possessed by the eidalons, they were pretty much equally matched, but piper stopped Jason before he could do anything worse. Not saying he's equal to percy but I'd like to believe he'd be top 5 if he was given more chances to go all out.
I think one of percys best feats is fighting the ghost army in "The Son of Neptune". It was an entire cohort of roman demigods, with their eagle, decked out with enough imperial gold gear to supply the whole legion (which is what happens). And percy destroys them all single handedly. Actually insane feat. I really believe percy could smoke the other 6 of the prophecy combined.
Lets be honest, if Percy had fallen into Tartauras alone (with changes to the situations he finds himself in so he survives reasonably), we would end up just getting a god in a mortal body.
I think we already pretty much do. Considering his powers alone he has pretty much EVERYTHING Poseidon / Neptune can do. And then he has a better combat IQ and Swordsmanship than mfucking Ares. The God of Fighting/ War, and also one of the best leadership prowess.
Heyyy!! You missed one the son of Hecate. Though he isnt mentioned in the main books HE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED!!!! For those who are confused, Albaster , son of hecate fought along with Kronos in the war of Manhattan because Hecate said that kronos will most probably win and many of hecate's children fought with camp half blood resulting to death of many!! He is referred by Hecate as her most powerful child and his control on magic is more than hazel. He could easily make up a live illusion as his companion hide himself and attack on his sister at the same time with ease. He actually had a biiiig grudge against percy as percy defeated kronos. So albaster said he would go to camp half blood only to show Percy Jcakson his place and give him what he deserves. This all happened between the last olympian and the lost hero. Though his descion was wrong to support kronos, he still is more powerful than hazel and piper. He is in the demigod diaries, The son of Magic, written by Haley Rick Riordan (Son of rick riordan)
percy’s the most powerful there’s water in almost everything and he can control that water he’s skilled and can make hurricanes and storms at will he’s also pretty smart nico would be second even he says percy is the most powerful look percy beat the god if war when he was 12
I would want Nico's power without a doubt. I think Percy is the most skilled demigod. I don't really think his power had very much to do with defeating many of the monsters he faced as a twelve year old. But once he got the hang of them he could use his powers easier and they did have something to do with him defeating monsters. Because this list was talking about powers more so rather than skill or the ability to use said powers, I feel that Nico is the most powerful demigod although, yes, his physical state prevents him from using his powers as well as Percy does. Feel free to comment your opinion. | V
I do agree tho I think his powers wouldnt be that optimal in daily life. So I guess I'd choose some other power. I think I'd choose Annabeths or Leos Abilities considering that u could actually earn money from them and they will be of use in many situations. ( not entirely sure anymore on how Hazels curse works, cause damn finding ressouces would be a cheatcode )
@@cjtrules1 a lot of people compare them. It’s kinda funny to see the Potter nerds try to argue Harry can touch Percy when Percy has magic resistance, his weapon comes back(nulling Harry’s best spell), he can use powers without an item boosting him, and he is faster, stronger and smarter than Harry ever is
@@dannywilsn Magic resistance doesn't mean he can't be hurt by magic because Percy can. Use Sectumsempra on him and he's dead. Percy's powers are all water dependent obviously and Harry can literally turn water into other substances or make it disappear. The fight is dependent on if Harry uses dark magic and how knowledgable he is. Adult Harry, the one who is the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement would probably do very well against Percy. I say they are incomparable because they literally are. Harry's magic is 100% different than Percy's magic. Percy's main strength isn't even his powers, it's his fighting ability which is all useless against a wizard like Harry.
@@cjtrules1 ahh yes- the bleeding spell on the guy who- since we are using best feats- can bloodbend. Percy can control any liquid, including that already in a person(seen when he fixed Jason’s lungs). The fight is dependent on if Percy decides to show mercy. Percy is faster(can dodge bullets), stronger(easily picking up and throwing people), has higher durability(even with magic in the picture, since he is resistant to magic from the Kane’s which is godly magic), his Battle IQ is higher(Percy generally outsmarts most his enemies in combat), his gear the only true downside, but I don’t think he really needs Riptide for this fight.
@@dannywilsn without water he can’t heal those wounds and it takes sufficient concentration to “blood bend”. Harry can fire off more spells after that. Once Percy over exerts himself he’s done. Harry can also apparrate so have fun getting to him. See this can go back and forth forever because we are talking about two separate universes. I love Percy Jackson and the universe Rick created but trying to say Percy easily defeats Harry or vice versa is foolish. There are a lot of factors in play you have to consider. This isn’t a simple Percy & Harry meet and fight situation.
Nico is actually the oldest living demigod having been trapped in the Lotus Hotel for a few centuries. But he does tire easily, and I think that’s because he’s had no one to properly train him.
another point about leo is that, yes, octavian helped killed gaia (though even the books admit it was mostly leo) but leo had planned to kill gaia by himself with his powers, which puts him really high. He disintegrated GAIA, the most powerful primordial goddess
I think we should have gotten more development with Percy from the books. A quick review of his powers: Control of water, breathes and heals from it-maybe even invincible in it Can cause earthquakes Can summon a hurricane Best swordsman Flight via Pegasus Shadow travel via helldog Underrated intelligence (like leo he’s quickly thought of solutions to bad situations and multiple characters describe him as smarter than he lets on) -he lacks long term strategy and big picture thinking but with Annabeth he has that too Control of liquids That last one is really interesting because he can control poisons. I’ve been really curious on whether he can control blood and “blood bend.” I think a darker mature book could feature him using badass but also downright evil powers to wring people out and pull blood and water from their bodies, basically being a blood god
I think that now that TSATS has been released Will should be on here somewhere around annabeth or Reyna since he fought the goddess of night one of the only things zues himself is afraid of, and won, especially since he was a son of Apollo, in Tartarus, without the sun, extremely dazed and tired and is able to give people sicknesses. During all of that he even said to Nyx “Gross. Please cover your void when you sneeze”
Look, a millenia-old enchantment (Lotus Casino), which probably strengthens with time, couldn't even completely hold him back. He straight breaks through charmspeak.
Personally, I would put Reyna way, way higher, since I think (and I might be wrong) that Annabeth thinks Reyna could beat her. And Reyna can beat Thalia with ease, who can beat Annabeth, so I think she should be in the top ten. (Totally not a bit of bias on my part, but Reyna's amazing.)
To quote Nico “Percy is the most powerful demigod I’ve ever met.” He said this in front Jason and implied Percy was stronger than him as well. 1.Percy 2. Nico 3.Jason

I feel like Alex wasn't high enough on this list. Not only could he become any animal, but she was also immortal and had superhuman strength, speed and durability courtesy of Valhalla. His garotte was also enchanted and a weapon crafted by a god, meaning it is most likely unbreakable.
Reyna literally embarrassed thalia in a mock fight sure thalia didn't use lightining but reyna was binded, unarmed and surrounded in a room filled with hunters

I pretty agree with most of your ranks. But... why Annabeth isn't higher? For me she is one of the best demigods. Ok, she can't fly or bend water or fire. But that why she is really amazing. She can handle most of anything only with her intelligence, her fight skills and her wisdom. She didn't have powerful powers (if being smart isn't enough) but she is still one of the seven. And she surrvived as many hardships as Percy. For me she is one of the 5 best demigods. Oh, and she is a leader. So, I love all the Percy Jackson's characters, the seven, Nico, Will, Reyna and others but I still thinking Annabeth should be higher.
Agreed. But I think it's fair cause this is the list based on power wise. And yeah, I could argue Annabeth could take down most of them in battle/fight.
I mostly agree, I didn't read all of the books but only based on statements made by some of the demigods it's clear that Percy is the strongest, Leo is among the five strongest, and Nico is among the top strongest as well. I always say that Nico when he gets to Percy's age in 'heroes of Olympus' he would be stronger than Percy was at the time, and his only handicap is the age gap
Percy Jackson cause yes Nico’s power with his potential is crazy. His powers could very well be the greatest gift ever, but healing from water is just way too good, especially since Percy also probably hasn’t unlocked or gotten all his powers to full capacity. I want to be able to be unbeatable in rain. I’m choosing Percy
I feel like Meg could've been placed a tad bit higher. While she's immature and prone to impulsive bursts, she's a very formidable soldier, trained in an unique and very effective, yet almost extinct fighting style. Children of Demeter are naturally capable fighters and she was honed to peak martial capabilities by Nero's henchmen, and all this is without counting her nature powers. I have the feeling people generally underestimate her both in the real world and in universe discussions mostly because she's an amazing physical fighter with utility abilities instead of having straight up offensive powers
Something for some people to think about. He’s the main character. Maybe it’s not that he’s powerful because he’s the MC But He’s the MC because he’s powerful. If there was another demigod as powerful as him and as lucky as him (luck is a power) they’d be the main character instead.
That rap was so good haha it was like an argument of Marvel and DC fans. After some point they saying ''no feats'' so you just jumped to his feats from Percy's powers nice choice!

If I could remember, all Hercules have done when he was a demigod, Percy managed to top it all at the age of 17. He doubled all of Hercules’ feats and accomplishments
He did even better. Spoilers ahead for the Chalice of the Gods in case someone didn’t read it:
In order to acquire the Chalice and return it to Ganymede, Percy challenged Geras (the god of old age) to a fight.

Jason fought during the war with Cronos, that’s about all we know from his past life
Jason also slaughtered a Trojan sea monster I’m pretty sure, not really saving the world but I think it should be noted
They do fear him, why do you think wanted to kill him when they found out about him? Remember the Gods know the faith of every demigod, they know what they're capable of
Percy also beat Ares in a duel in the first book
Hah, they do.
Yup we can agree
My girl doesn’t get enough credit 😭
i thought her surviving was cuz athena was watching over her, also i thought it was hinted that athena was the reason annabeth met luke and thalia
@@ashanteunderwood3736 yes athena did help her a bit; but we have to keep in mind that gods are allowed very few interventions in demigods path, even more regarding their children. She did not receive much more help than any of the other 7

Yeah I’d put her above piper cause she’s smart enough not to lose to charmspeak and she’s a way better fighter than piper
Powers and abilities are different things, fighting is something they all can learn, she's good at it because she fights since she was 7yo. But if it was a list based on the best demigods, she'd definitely be top 3

Why did Frank get nerfed, It should be Percy
Lol, Percy can also control the earth, remember what he did at the battle of the labyrinth, he has not just tapped into that power yet
In theory, Frank can become Percy, end his attack as Nico, and then finish you off by stomping on you as Typhon
fr hes so overpowered
He’s circumstantial though. Unless he’s at sea, carter would beat him in a 1v1
I really feel like Leo deserves his spot on the list because there is no greater power than intelligence
He could probably outthink most of the people above him and his ability to work under harsh conditions is something truly admirable
Also I’m biased towards him HES MY FAVORITE
Right, it sorta comes down to the Batman dilemma. We all know Batman vs Superman doesn't end well for Batman assuming Superman isn't messing around. But Batman with prep time probably wins every time. If Leo can workshop the problem he can win. But say someone just walks up and stabs him in the throat with no warning - he's far from immortal, and he isn't a demigod of healing. Cauterization would only get you so far considering internal bleeding. But I agree, it's remarkable how far the ability to make things can take you in a world of gods.
@@dissolution9843 The difference between Leo and Batman is that Batman is an incredible strategist. This, however is something that Leo lacks.
Don’t forget He has crazy fire powers. The guy went supernova mode and literally blew up Gaia 😅 Seems most have forgotten that feat
Honestly I really agree with these ranking like I thought i would've been annoyed that nico wasn't #2 but your explanation about how all that he went through with tartarous and how it impacted his physical self made a lot of sense,
also I'm so fucking happy that you put the kane siblings so high because they are so powerful but not many people recognize that and I'm happy you did
Honestly Sadie could beat anyone on this list with a single word. Her magic is made to fight gods.
He is not fireproof. He's fire resistant as a result of his heritage
@@almond4305 he has yet to actually be burned in a severe way, im calling that fireproof until something proves otherwise. Either way, resistance isn’t bad, considering homie shouldn’t have any fire at all. But nah, Manz went and casually became the Avatar

Percy has the theoretical power geokinesis (earthbending) to an extent. His father was the earth shaker, so it is possible
Nah, he didn't inherit geokinesis, he said it himself in one of the demigod side books. Which is a shame, really, I thought he had inherited it myself because he caused that gigantic eruption

@@dannywilsn hes fire proof because hes the son if Poseidon. You know water and all that. And how does Percy have aerokinetics? That Jason
I know we all clicked on this to see the #1, while the whole time knowing exactly who it would be :)
annabeth should be higher, she has good stamina shown by her holding up the sky for A FULL WEEK while percy could barely hold it for 15 mins.
1. Holding up the sky is a feat of will not strength
2. She could beat Jason in a fight WITH powers
Annabeth should absolutely be ranked higher(especially higher than piper this dudes on crack) and so should Clarisse

He can summon hoards of the undead, and his sword is also wicked, much deadlier, if he can hone his sword skills while his body and abilities recuperate, he will be a force to reckon with.

Do you guys know each other? Like in person?
absolutely loved this list
Meg is actually stronger than Jason. In The Burning Maze, she easily kills several monsters that gave the latter a hard time.
Her being that young is the major reason why she can’t go any higher
@@valtersplume3726 u wish I wonder how Meg would do against a titan barehanded or better yet a giant in a cave both 1v1
Just re-reading this I when talking about Reyna I meant “people with the same abilities wouldn’t have been able to”
Is that from trials of Apollo???
I agree with you that Meg should be higher but Reyna should not be, Clarisse is the one who should be higher
Sadie Piper and Hazel should also all be higher
If we're including hosts, i think carter and sadie's uncle deserves a spot in the top 5, sure he doesn't have too many feets of pure fighting, but he is the first choice for chief lecturn after old guy and ice cream dude, and it was implied that the chief lecturn was supposed to be stronger than the pharoah in order to protect him. Plus he's the host of set, one of the top gods in that pantheon, which means 2 things
1. Anything we saw set do in red pyramid, he can probably do to a lesser extent
2. He runs off chaos instead of order, meaning the worse things get on the battlefield, he probably gets stronger
He is set, bro is the literal god of death, step aside nico your dad(?) Is here.
@@ar-1535 i thought thst was Osiris-

If we’re including hosts then where is Zia. She is the best non god fire user in verse!!
nice bro amazing
Thalia might also be very deadly
Also, if Frank and Clarisse mentioned to be blessed by Ares/Mars in this vid, so Reyna's blessings from Athena and Bellona and win against Orion without a comrades should be considered too
zoe isnt a demigod
I love the video and agree with your rankings. One minor thing is that Carter Kane is the Pharaoh of the house of life, Amos is the Chief Lector
Leo's my favorite too. There's just so much to love about him. Except he took Calypso. I wish she was my girlfriend
"Many people might disagree with Leo being in the top 5"
Me: "If a character can 1v1 a goddess and actually come out on top with no outside interference in his favor, they are AT LEAST top 5 unless we have 5 stronger characters that have 1v1'd a god"
Something that I see overlooked is that Percy is actually smart, we’re just used to him being dumber compared to Anabeth, A daughter of Athena
You got everything so spot on its perfect I love the ranking❤ especially Leo
am i the only one who believes jason was beginning to truely (re)discover himself, and become more powerful before his untimely demise? there’s a few examples of this in the burning maze. the most obvious one is just the sheer number of lightning bolts he was able to summon on the fleet of ships when before it was draining for him to just do a singular one. i could be wrong but i think he had the most potential out of anyone on this list but it was stumped multiple times (most notably when he lost his memory and basically had to relearn his powers) for all we know jason could have been significantly stronger before he lost his memory (which was not properly restored like percy’s)
So informational and inspiring!!
Omg nico and will has a book coming ahhhh I love you for telling me this their my fav characters
Small correction, Carter is the Pharaoh, not Chief Lector. That title goes to Amos. Other than that, yeah, this is a pretty reasonable list
Yoo Amazing Video as always
10/10
Thank you so much!
No problem! Your amazing you have no idea how grateful people are for you. You are amazing thank you.
I like the fact that all 3 main characters from each part are on top, Magnus Karter and Percy :)
I just started reading the Percy Jackson series (two books in one day) and this is the vid i needed to hype me up my God I'm excited
In defence of the Kane Chronicles and the Magnus Chase trilogy, they weren’t as fleshed out or heightened up as the Graeco-Roman contingent, mostly from their respective series being only 3 books long while Percy & Co sported a pentalogy that had 2 follow-up series.
What’s the defence for? The Kane siblings are two of the most powerful people on the riordanverse although Magnus does get hard carried by his sword
I agree Jason is ranked criminally low along with Hazel and Frank, this dude has something against the Romans 😂 He should definitely be above Leo
He is in the demigod diaries, The son of Magic, written by Haley Rick Riordan (Son of rick riordan)
percy’s the most powerful
there’s water in almost everything and he can control that water
he’s skilled and can make hurricanes and storms at will
he’s also pretty smart
nico would be second
even he says percy is the most powerful
look
percy beat the god if war when he was 12
he can also create water when he used it to erupt that volcano.

People who think Harry Potter is stronger than Percy.. 🤡
Who is comparing these two!? They are literally in two completely different universes and powers/abilities are incomparable.
For the most part it’s a solid list I couldn’t agree more with Nico’s placement and your thorough explanation on all your thoughts is well 👍
Nico is actually the oldest living demigod having been trapped in the Lotus Hotel for a few centuries. But he does tire easily, and I think that’s because he’s had no one to properly train him.
he's been trapped in the Lotus Hotel for roughly 70 years but yes you have a point
In fact, Hazel is older
another point about leo is that, yes, octavian helped killed gaia (though even the books admit it was mostly leo) but leo had planned to kill gaia by himself with his powers, which puts him really high. He disintegrated GAIA, the most powerful primordial goddess
Percy just being practical with his earplugs
I think we should have gotten more development with Percy from the books. A quick review of his powers:
Control of water, breathes and heals from it-maybe even invincible in it
Can cause earthquakes
Can summon a hurricane
Best swordsman
Flight via Pegasus
Shadow travel via helldog
Underrated intelligence (like leo he’s quickly thought of solutions to bad situations and multiple characters describe him as smarter than he lets on)
-he lacks long term strategy and big picture thinking but with Annabeth he has that too
Control of liquids
That last one is really interesting because he can control poisons. I’ve been really curious on whether he can control blood and “blood bend.” I think a darker mature book could feature him using badass but also downright evil powers to wring people out and pull blood and water from their bodies, basically being a blood god
I think his powers are the most well documented out of everyone.
I love all these characters! I love their abilities and skills!
“ Percy would just wear earplugs “ that killed me of waaaaaaaaay too much laughter
To quote Nico
“Percy is the most powerful demigod I’ve ever met.”
He said this in front Jason and implied Percy was stronger than him as well.
1.Percy
2. Nico
3.Jason
I cant remember exactly what was said but when Hazel first saw Percy fight she was shocked bc she thought Nico was the most powerful demigod she had come across. Really goes to show how insane Percy is
@@WriosCumJar that and Reyna thought he was a full blown god in disguise.
Frank is above Jason, so is Jack and Carter

@@gandalfthewhite.5245that’s fair. I think Franks ability to shape shift>Jason’s lighting but Jason’s ability to fly and be more maneuverable is better than Franks strength. Nico and Jason can’t beat Magnus and Carter though
I love both Alex and Nico and I have to say... I exactly agree with were you pit them. Im a vit bias, but you make an extremely valid point about Nico 💚🖤
I feel like Alex wasn't high enough on this list. Not only could he become any animal, but she was also immortal and had superhuman strength, speed and durability courtesy of Valhalla. His garotte was also enchanted and a weapon crafted by a god, meaning it is most likely unbreakable.
They’re placed pretty well honestly, they’re strong but can’t beat the demigods above them
Reyna literally embarrassed thalia in a mock fight sure thalia didn't use lightining but reyna was binded, unarmed and surrounded in a room filled with hunters
I think Annabeth would be more powerful since her aura was strong....and the monsters found her when she was just 7
You mean her smell? Remember the smell gets stronger when you find out your a demigod and children of the big 3 are just naturally easier to sniff out by monsters so going by just that their all stronger than her.

I thought they nerfed Percy so badly in the 1v1 he had with Jason, I feel like he should've mopped the floor with him when they were both possessed, but maybe he wasn't fighting at the top of his ability since he had no control
Jason is essentially the roman version of percy, theyre supposed to be close in power.
@@Garrett8489 ik Jason not a chump in terms of power, but up until this point Percy had fought literal Titans and won. Shouldve been no contest
@@jah96Jason had also fought a titan and won it was mentioned that during the titan war camp time stormed Kronos’ castle and Jason took down krios (sorry my memory is a little fuzzy on the exact titan)
@@infamouse9263 hm but i feel like percy is just too op. like when he fought hyperion which was the first time we saw him fight on a hurricane, there were flickers of lightning bots. LIGHTNING. AS A SON OF POSEIDON. also that thing where he summoned so much water from small shells
@@ashanteunderwood3736 he honestly is too OP
i hope if rick makes anymore books he goes into depth on the extent of percy’s water powers like if he can blood blend or make water boil/freeze and if he can increase the water pressure, since percy is a good person tho i doubt he’ll actually use blood bending in a fight unless he’s already in the angered state after controlling poison or just really pissed off for any other reason
he can blood bend to control ppl he did it in house of hades but it scared annabeth a lot so i think he promised to not do it
speaking of pissed off, i bet he could control pee
We need dis for jason
@@stateofgrace03 If something happened to Annabeth, or the people he loved, then goodbye world.
I agree Annabeth should be ranked higher her hand to hand combat and iq is insane but Reyna should not be(they should both be above piper though)
Nice list.
Totally agree with all the rankings. But I feel like Reyna, Annabeth, Hazel and Nico could be higher on the list.
But overall it was a great video!
I agree with all but Nico and Reyna, Reyna was already placed too high and Nicos placed pretty well honestly
When Leo was ranked 5 I was like YESSSSS FINALLY GETTING NOTICED❤
I feel like Meg could've been placed a tad bit higher. While she's immature and prone to impulsive bursts, she's a very formidable soldier, trained in an unique and very effective, yet almost extinct fighting style. Children of Demeter are naturally capable fighters and she was honed to peak martial capabilities by Nero's henchmen, and all this is without counting her nature powers. I have the feeling people generally underestimate her both in the real world and in universe discussions mostly because she's an amazing physical fighter with utility abilities instead of having straight up offensive powers
Thank you for jumpin into the video!
Something for some people to think about. He’s the main character.
Maybe it’s not that he’s powerful because he’s the MC
But
He’s the MC because he’s powerful.
If there was another demigod as powerful as him and as lucky as him (luck is a power) they’d be the main character instead.
people talk about Percy's water control ability, and forget that he can make an earthquake too
It's crazy how many gods Percy has beat in a fight.
That rap was so good haha it was like an argument of Marvel and DC fans. After some point they saying ''no feats'' so you just jumped to his feats from Percy's powers nice choice!
