Actually if 5 mario wins to 3 sonic wins if you actually counted so overall mario wins and also speed can sometimes be your enemies and still sonic still can be hit.

Hyper Sonic should have more AP than White Tanooki. Nothing suggests that White Tanooki actually improves strength while Super forms increase all their capabilities, Sonic is extremely fast and Hyper is better than Super by default. I don't know if this is comedy or that you're more of a fan of the plumber but I think I remember two things, first: that fleetway super Sonic is an official character while Evil Mario is made by fans, and second: SEGA created Sonic to be better than Mario in EVERYTHING
Fleetway isn't canon firstly. Secondly Mario can potentially become devil Mario because boos can possess U but overall yes devil Mario is fan made. U can just consider him as fleetway Mario, a corrupted and possessed Mario with the strongest powerup in his game (star) just like how fleetways powerup is his super form. They both haven't been in the games but are possible to. Idc if Sega created sonic to be better than Mario, this doesn't explain anything. Sonic can't swim, his strength is pretty weak, he falls for eggmans sarcasm and needs tails to be the brains for him considering he ain't so bright himself. This "sonic being better than Mario" thing was before Mario became this insane superhuman because in the earlier games he was just a guy who completes levels. Ig U could say Sonic is a better adventurist than Mario in the games but that's all Sega meant by this statement. Your opinion is invalid. Go do some research
