If you know my channel and me you know that I am not a big fan of touristy places. The main village in Siargao is quite touristy, you see more westerners than locals there. So, I rented a motorbike to explore the parts of Siargao that are behind this tourist village of General Luna. Join me as we explore the rural parts of Siargao, Philippines.

I think Ken, you're the only westerner doing RUclips videos that travels tourist places using a motorcycle that just don't rely mostly on public's transport. That's the reason why I like watching you're videos since you've came here which is I'm so amaze to you, that was around 20K to 30K plus subscriber before, anyways congrats and keep safe. try checking out Becoming Filipino he's been in the philippines for a long period of time, and now have settled in Mindanao (currently in Cateel, DVO), and already traveled twice the whole country from Apari to Julu and most of this are by his bike (1st bike Cindy).. even Tawi-tawi and Basilan where no foreign vloggers have gone to but his made twice trip in their already.

The good thing in the Philippines is that everyone speaks in English no need of tourist guide...
It depends of the person if he/she wants quick tour every place. It's different if having a tour guide. Tour guide already fix time for itinerary

Hello Ken my friend , I highly recommend to explore this places in Siargao Islands especially Guyam Island, Naked Islands & Daku Island. It has a pure white sand beaches & crystal clear waters. There is a direct daily flight from Cebu going to Siargao Islands. There are lots of attraction to offer in General Luna, Siargao Islands
- Island Hopping in Naked Islands, Guyam & Daku Islands, it is closest islands in Siargao Mainland with white & palm trees.
- Sugba Lagoon Boat Tour with Kawhagan, it's truly a gem of a spots with 5 meters & 10 meters diving.
- Tagbayanga Cave Pool in Siargao Islands.
- Jeepney Land Tour with Magpupungko Rock Pool & Tayangban Caves, seeing the sights of Siargao as you explore caves, tidepools, palm-tree rope swings & palm tree viewpoint.
- Sohoton Cove Tour, in Socorro, Bucas Grande Islands, Sohoton Cove National Park Your,

This year is La Niña in Philippines. This is a weather phenomenon of increase rainfall and extended rainy months. Opposite of La Niño, when the weather is more dry, less rainfall and drought. This is cause by the cyclical warming and cooling of the Pacific Ocean extending from Peru and Chile affecting the monsoons here in Philippines. Normally the season of rain in afternoon end by late September or October. The reason why its always cloudy in the afternoon now.

Hi Ken, if you are not a big fan of touristy places, come to a really authentic rural place called Palattao, where we will be from 18.-30.11.2022. There are regular flights from Manila to Cauayan, from where it is only 14km to this place. The family of my wife lives there. We can pick you up from the airport. You can explore pure Filipino life there. Ricefields, ricefields and ricefields apart from Ilocano hospitality. You are welcome ! Your German friend - Globomanni

as i watch your video your reaction and your humor its a plus +30% positive life but i could not imagine what life living abroad is, being here in the Philippines is natural and simple life, seeing foreigners in the country isn't normal now a days, its a reality that the country is quiet interesting in developing economy and its natural forms the local community vibes and the beautiful beaches, lets see what is future of the country in the next few more years...

I like your adventures on the motorbikes. Always helps to have a "funnel" when filling with Petrol/Gas/fuel. Village folk are always so helpful, throughout the world it seems. Getting of the beaten track is my type of thing too. The bamboo straws are a good idea, you can keep on re using the straws for your favourite drinks, when you buy a coconut or cocktails etc.
Harald is currently in Mexico, and although he has a “few” followers as you’ve mentioned, but I think he would appreciate if you could let him know that he was your inspiration to follow in his footsteps. Wouldn’t you ?
