im a software engineer and its crazy how similiar your experience is to coding. Trust me it is so common to have these 0.5% issues that Ive lost count. When youre doing things that most people dont do the issues becmoe so niche, but thats where the fun begins

CHECK FOR CRACKS AND REINFORCE THE REAR SUBFRAME !!! most e46 and some e36 have tendency to crack the rear subframe SPECIALLY the higher power models as the m3.

The ls1 balancer is known for failing, when you get the chance swap it for a ATI harmonic balancer just to make sure it doesn’t fail

It should have been a flat plane crank v8 to make it sound like the real one. Also no supercharger, but straight cut gearbox.
