Hi Johnny. Another great painting job and weathering. I really love the final result. Beautiful vessel. Thanks again for your time and precious advices. Waiting next Friday for a new adventure. Best regards from France. François 🐕‍🦺🐾

Hi François, this kit did challenge me with the weathering, the scale is so small I had a hard time wrapping my mind around how little product to use and what would give the best result. I made it though and I think it looks pretty good. Thanks so much for checking it out, have a great weekend. Johnny

She’s came out stunning Johnny.!..The preshading worked perfectly and the weathering is subtle with the lighter grey highlighting and rust streaks..Excellent work and video..All the best Paul 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

Awesome, thank you Paul! I really like using pre-shading, it gives me the chance to correct it before laying on the top color. This scale is so small I really had to work at keeping the rust streaking and weathering down to as small as possible, for me, lol. Thanks so much for watching, it really means a lot. Take care and model on. Hope to see you in the next one! Johnny

Your Gato came out great and I enjoyed this build. My hat's off to you as I always have a hard time when it comes to AFV Club kits. Again, well done Johnny!

Awesome, thank you! I think this is my 3rd AFV kit and the scale made it a real challenge for me. But I need the practice because I intend to build a small fleet of 1/350 scale vessels, this one being my first. Thanks for watching my friend, have a great weekend! Johnny

Hey, sir. I think this was one of your quicker builds. It turned out awesome. And it's nice to have an easy build every so often. Take care, my friend, and I'll see you next Friday.

Hi John, I couldn't agree with you more, as a modeler we need to do a quick build every now and then to help us get that sense of just getting things done! Now, this kit did have its challenges, but it went together nicely, but I have to admit that weathering it was a task because of its small scale. I had to think about that for a while before proceeding, I hope I got it right! 😊. Thanks for watching, have a great weekend, hope to see you in the next build my friend! Johnny

Lovely finish on this Johnny. I like the way the whole package of base coat, preshading and top coat blend in with the added detailing of the rust bringing everything together. I'm particularly interested in this as I'm currently (very slowly) building a 1/44 scale U boat. Your tip on keeping the colour light as the scale gets smaller will come in very useful. Thanks Johnny.

Thanks a bunch Gerry! I really appreciate it. I had to think long and hard on my approach to painting and weathering this one. It's really easy to overdo a model in such a small scale. Thanks for watch, have a great week my friend! Johnny

Wonderfull work Johnny, i agree with what you said about paint, in such scale you may need to deviate a bit in order to have the results of your work remain visible! Looking forward to see what you'll tackle next, thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!

Hi Raymond, I have to admit, I found this little kit to be a challenge with the weathering. But, I think it came out fairly well, these small scale models don't leave us much room fine weathering detail. Thanks so much for watching, take care and see you in the next one! Johnny

And the master of masking strikes again... 😁I always considered subs to be a rather boring subject, but you really made it shine and interesting to look at! Very nice paint job and subtle weathering, nothing over the top, everything is balanced just perfectly. Well done, Johnny 👏👏👏 Can't wait to see what's next. Oh, and in case you didn't notice, please check your email 🙂

Wow, thank you Mike! That's high praise my friend. I will admit that I had to really take time and consider what to do with the weathering, it's such a small scale it would be easy to overdo! I do like my models to be lightly weathered. I haven't seen your email, it might have been screened out, please send it again and I will look for it. Take care and model on my friend! Johnny

Thanks Johnny, just wondering why you used ca on the props? I watched a UK guy the other day struggling with small parts and suggested he buy a silicon pencil AK I think, I bought one and for me at least I found it magic (not expensive). She turned out wonderfully the weathering job you did on her is great.

Thanks, your too kind my friend. As for the CA glue for the propellers, the connection point is very small, so CA glue just made sense to me. Thanks so much for watching, take care and model on! Johnny
