“The tree is kind of born and raised and grows up on the mountain, it comes back in the form of skis, and it skis right back through where it grew up to begin with,” Meier Skis owner Ted Eynon told Popular Mechanics.

I saw them shape the core, but they didn't profile the core (unless the CNC router did it). Also, what were the random pieces pulled out of the CNC? I didn't notice how those were used.

All these people are weirdly dressed for work (shirts that can get stuck in machines, scarf instead of mask, jeans, hoddie ) thats why there are uniforms.

This is like watching somebody read a book with the sound turned off. No narration or even subtitles.

How Skis Are Made??? Video should be titled "Guys working with wood, doing random tasks and occasional views of finished skis". What a waste of time.

Agreed. Some explanation of what they're doing and why would have made it informative.

Hey, Popular Mechanics, I got an idea that I thought of from reading one of your articles. I think the FBI and other branches of law enforcement would be interested. On your article "Scientists Just Changed the Rules of What You Can Do While You Sleep", you mentioned about someone people being asleep being able to do math problems by moving their eyes back and forth. Well, how about having a suspect put in a sleep state on purpose, and ask him or her questions that have to do with a case. Then see if you can get their eyes to move a certain amount of times to answer certain questions (one set of eye movements for 'No' and two sets of eye movements for 'Yes' for example). It will be kind of like hypnosis.
