  • Florian Schwarzer lives at the foot of the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain. As a passionate skier and trained carpenter, he wondered if he could make a pair of skis for himself. That's how it all began. Today, he makes 40 pairs of skis every summer. Florian taught himself every step of the process and still experiments with different materials and methods. Even though the wooden skis look purist, they meet the modern demands of professional athletes - and because they are custom-made, they are guaranteed to catch the eyes of others on the slopes.
