- Are you a photographer, a Lightroom user and/or looking for the best Lightroom export settings? Today I am answering and sharing with you one of my most commonly asked questions, what export settings I use to export my photos on Lightroom!
Here are my Lightroom export settings!
• The first thing I do is rename my file name (+ leave original file number after)
• File settings I always export in JPEG, quality anywhere from 91-100
• Color space is SRGB
• Resolution at 300 pixels per inch

There are some critical things you left out. And 300 PPI isn't a magic number, but it gets misused, just like 72 DPI. If it's just going online, the resolution doesn't matter. I just enter 100, but it could be 1 or 1000 and if it's online, it's all the same. 300 PPI is a default for printing through a commercial print lab, where the number is definitely important. Lastly, don't bypass the Sharpening section, there in lies the detail. Happy snapping
can you expand on the sharpening section? if a photo sharpened prior to exporting is already at the desired sharpness - why would someone introduce more sharpening upon export as well?
This Export for print?
What about for extra large prints?
But my file size not increased it still “KB” size
