Great double reaction. F Hero flew in to Japan specially to perform on the first two nights of the BABYMETAL tour in 2019. That was where most of this video was filmed. They performed in Bangkok in Thailand last year and F Hero made another special guest appearance.
'PA PA YA' is a summer festival song - and it really is about a spicy green papaya fruit salad. F Hero was rapping in Thai to the same rhythm as mixing the ingredients for the salad with a mortar and pestle.
They are pretty much saying that, much like the salad, mixing the right spices into life will make that better too.
Yes, have a towel, a t-shirt or just something you can swing round your head for this one - seeing everybody doing that makes the girls happy.
'YAVA' is their blend of ska with the metal (ska being a forerunner to reggae of course, so there are similarities).
There is some confusion about what is what, things being the same but different ... maybe it reflects the confusion some metalheads experience when they first hear BABYMETAL .... "Is it this? Is it that? Its the same but different!"

YAVA is underrated, in my opinion. For me it's one of their most fun songs, and it's also one of those that I can't imagine any other band doing.
While a towel is the "official" item to swing around your head, I make sure to buy a shirt at the venue to use for that purpose. Two birds with one stone.

Awesome double! For their concert in Nov, be sure to get a Babymetal towel/shirt merch, so you can do the dirty towel with the crowd 🤣. Pa Pa Ya!! usually makes the setlist on tours as it's a fun and popular song. Yava!, probably not so much. This was the first time they've played Yava! in many years (unfortunately). But, as they say, Only The Fox God Knows! 🤗
Yava! is one of my favorites, especially with the Kami West intro. It's a fun and eclectic Sk-Metal song about "being different, and not knowing what to do about it, OH NO!" I feel like it's Babymetal's cute and adorable middle finger to the early critics and a fun jab at those who couldn't accept them because they were different 🤣. Especially with that heavy AF breakdown. Which to me, signifies the "anger of the elitists" towards Babymetal. Momo and Moa's facial expressions in this one are on-point and hilarious too, haha!
And yes, Anthony Barone is the drummer for Kami West.
    🤘🦊

Great double reaction as usual, thanks!
It's really cool that many reactors are going to see BABYMETAL live soon. It's a win for all us, as fans and commenters.
So glad you did the live version of "PA PA YA!". And yes you need a towel, shirt or piece or cloth to swirl. 😁
About "YAVA!" yes, that was the western (or current) set of the Kami Band and that was Anthony Barone on drums.
Shame you chose that channel because the person behind is very unrespectful for really small things like suggesting a certain version of a song instead of the one on their channel.

Nice double reaction Jason! "PA PA YA" is a Kawaii summer festival song and "YAVA!" is a Kawaii ska metal song?
    Personally, I prefer Mikio's guitar🎸
I think the best channel to make BABYMETAL reaction videos is "For The Fox God" channel.

Pa Pa Ya! is a fun summer party song that uses spicy papaya salad as a metaphor for mixing many different ingredients to make a satisfying life. Pa Pa Ya! is a fixture of the live set that they will almost certainly play when you see them. Fan bring towels to the shows to swing in the air during the song, and Babymetal sell official towels as part of their merch so fans can buy one before the show if they want have one to swing during the performance.
And you finally got around to Yava! My favourite Babymetal song. I had been waiting years to finally see it live in person, so when it started at Legend MM I was just about beside myself. Yava! is a great example of their genrebending, incorporating ska into the metal to create one of their most interesting rhythms. Yava! is a derivation of the Japanese word "yabai", which means "bad" or "dangerous"; it's often used by young Japanese in the same way that young English speakers might say "badass" to describe something that they find cool.
The Kami Band of the West played for this Yava! performance, and since you're a guitarist, I thought you might be interested in their gear:
Chris Kelly (first solo) is playing a Musicman Sabre custom in sparkle purple colour.
CJ Masciantonio (second solo) is playing a Schecter Sunset-24 7 FR in Violet Ice colour.
Clint Tustin is playing a Dingwall NG 5-string in Matte Gold.
Anthony Barone is on drums of course, but I'm not sure what kit he uses.

Thanks for stopping by! Yes I finally got to Yava! It's been on the list as well as Papaya which I knew I had to check out before seeing BABYMETAL live! That is cool to know how Yava is a term used as badass haha and I enjoyed the ska influence in Yava as well. What an exciting song with a huge breakdown thrown in as well 😁🤟🦊

Great combination of songs. Yava would be my favourite between these two performances.
What to buy at the merch store at a Babymetal concert? Definitely a T-shirt, maybe not the hoodie, I can hardly get my head through mine. It's good quality but needs a zipper or something. However, a Babymetal towel is a must. Babymetal play Papaya a lot, so you need the towel to wave around above your head, otherwise, you will feel inadequate.

  • @ksbrst2010
    @ksbrst2010 День назад +3

It is one of their biggest Party Songs. Abd so they use it for this purpose in nearly every concert.
When they started with this song it were towels, but now they changed it to T-Shirts that are easiervto acquire in their Merch Store. F. Hero has in Babymetal only one additional Feature "Leave it all behind".

Waved is a towel with BABYMETAL logo 😊Shirts and towels are sold at the concert venue, but shirts may sell out fast depending on the size.PAPAYA is rarely off the setlist so a towel is a must have 😁.

I enjoy the idea that the Kami Band (both) have been summoned to support the ladies, but they are like a pack of attack dogs on a leash always trying to get free and go metal af.
When the vocals come back in their fall back into line awaiting their next opportunity.

Cool double reaction, definitely PPY will be part of the setlist when playing live, but YAVA! is kinda hard when doing the World Tour.
And yep, PPY was with the East Kami Band (no YuiMetal neither Mikio's guitar), and YAVA! with the West Kami Band.
Keep enjoying BM songs, this month is gonna be awesome.🦊🤘🔥

Love this one! The perfect and best versions of both these songs to react to.
Yes, having a small towel to wave for Papaya is required equipment for your show 😎
And Yava is a top 5 Babymetal song for me! Such a cool blend of sounds, but also my very favorite choreography out of all of their songs. Its just so adorable and fun how seamlesssly they switch back and forth from cute/silly to surprised/distressed haha.
Hope you enjoy the show when you get to see them! Remember we sacrifice them being able to bring their huge sets over here but the tradeoff is, you could get very close to the stage which is never possible at their huge production shows.
They did so much personal crowd interacting last year when I saw them twice, even got a wave from Moa. Its worth it and so fun!
