It came about because Babymetal went to an Electric Callboy gig in the USA and went backstage to meet them. The timing of the song is because they are doing a lot of festivals together this year. This has already been performed live at Foxfest in Japan last Saturday.
Electric Callboy is from Germany. Their songs usually flip back and forth seamlessly between EDM/dance and heavy metal. They usually refer to it as "partycore."
You need to check out more EC. They are way more popular in Europa/Germany than BM. Specially the last 2 years. EC is a fun making ElectroPayrty(metal)core Band. Check out hypa hypa and we got the moves

In 2022, Electric Callboy (renamed in 2022 , former name Eskimo Callboy, chanced because they did not want to offend anyone) applied for the German selection for Eurovision with a funny videos( called Pump it and We got the moves) . They were refused because the German delegation wanted radio-friendly music. A petition of 150,000 people followed, but the German delegation still refused to allow them to take part in the German live show for selecting the German Eurovision act of 2022. Since then, they had sold out tours in Europe, Australia and the USA/Canada.
