- JULY 5TH UPDATE: 3 EXTRA METHODS TO TRY THAT MAY HELP!!
1) Uninstall the kamvas 13 huion driver and redownload it to reinstall with the kamvas 13 unplugged from your laptop/PC. Restart your system afterthat. Have the kamvas 13 plugged in and check if that gets it to work again! This helped me and I've tested it.
2) Plug your kamvas 13 into your smartphones or other devices IF you have the exclusive Huion kamvas 13 USB C cord. This can work but I haven't been able to prove that in this video!
3) Install the huion kamvas 13 driver on another laptop/PC device and plug your kamvas 13 there. Other computers can work better with pen display or graphics tablets than others. I had this issue with my XP pen where it didn't work well with my Lenovo pad laptop but worked smoothly and perfectly on my wife's HP laptop. Hope the rest of these methods help! If not I recommend to get in touch with the seller you purchased your kamvas 13 from or contact Huion directly on their site!
4) You can disable your intel HD graphics driver on your windows system (for those who has something similar on MAC) and enable it again to see if that works. An individual commenter pointed this out from his experience. Shout out to @Michael Appiah-Kubi / @michaelappiah-kubi2829

Nothing is working, I honestly have no clue what’s wrong. I drag the pen over the screen and I can see that it’s connected but the screen is still black. I’m so sad rn

@@gingercat9543 I got mine to work eventually by updating my computer. I honestly don’t know what I did I’m so sorry that I can’t help more but I unplugged it and plugged it back in again. Then I looked if my laptop needed any updates, updated it, and then it worked. :/
I also had it plugged in all day so maybe that had something to do with it?
I literally just bought this tablet, and when I plug it in, Windows says it does not recognize the USB device and the tablet says "no signal" and "power saving". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and I have no other tablet drivers on my computer. I've tried connecting it to a wall adapter and directly to my computer, with the same methods that you used, but nothing has worked. I'm really frustrated bc I JUST BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW and it came in the mail TODAY
Did you try plugging the tablet on another device? Like another PC or Laptop? I had this same issue too and that also helped me out as well. I simply got it to also work well with these methods and hadn't had any issues with mine since than.
If you can do the methods or plug your kamvas 13 on another desktop or laptop it can work. Some systems doesn't work too well with graphic tablets while others work perfectly. I'd contact Huion if you still tried the same methods I've mentioned and nothing changed. Still take the time to fix the issue first. If it cant be done and you did everything as mentioned I'd contact them or contact the seller.
This same thing happened to me and I'm trying to connect it to my Macbook Pro... The screen finally came on, but the pen does not register/work. This tablet is BRAND NEW.
@@ciaratobin1216 in my case, the cable on display doesn't plug correctly. After push it a little, it can work. Also restart your MBP and re-calibrate your monitor

@@kuroichan101 Try to connect your device on another computer, PC, or a smart phone if you have the special USB port.
That's what worked for me, go to device manager, click on display adapters, click on the intel driver or the graphics card driver with right button - click disable, then the screen will flash, then click enable and this should fix your problem. (Be careful if you don't have a video card to handle the screen if you disable the processor.)

I use huion kamvas pro 13. It worked perfectly when I bought it but now it is saying no signal and power saving when I turn it on. But for some reason, when I hover my pen over the screen, it detects it and I can see my cursor moving in the same motion as my pen. I can draw and everything. Only the screen isn’t showing up. HELP

I have same problem too. I tried some method. Updating my computer and restart and I thought it works but suddenly it backs to " no signal." "power saving." but the cursor of pen are working. I hope someone help me. I really pissed because I have commission to finish. I already email the huion but as usual they are lazy to response.
TRY THIS METHOD! WORKED FOR ME
If your on windows 10 :
1. press your windows icon button on keyboard and P (windows+P together)
2. If you are on "PC screen only" choose either "Duplicate" or "Extend" (Keep this windows option open to prevent it from going back to "PC screen only")
3. Plug in first your HD Cable
4. Plug in your power cable (Black one not the red one)
5. Lastly plug in the cable that connects to the huion tablet. (This way the tablet turns on while you are still on duplicate or extended0

I tried this and the display finally worked, but then the pencil didn't. I saw on Reddit someone that had the same issue and said that with just unstalling and installing again worked. I did that and now the driver says that the tablet is not connected, even tho the screen works perfectly, any advice?

My Kamvas Pro 16 was having a similar problem in which its screen would randomly go black and a "No Signal" would pop up. I tried every step from this video to see if it would work, but in the end it was a driver problem; my tablet is probably too old for the newer driver versions, since the problem started after I downloaded the newest one, so uninstalling it and getting the oldest I could find fixed it just like that. Figured I should comment in case it helps anyone :)

Oh btw another method (not sure if he mentioned this) for desktop computers is to make sure the HDMI cable is connected horizontally ( west to east) and not vertically (north to south).

I was frustrated when it came in earlier today because it did not turn on - the screen, nor the light on the power button. I've checked my hdmi ports, checked my drivers (they were already updated) followed every step, and nothing. When I watched this video, I realized: I should restart it! It was basic common sense!

I’m trying to be the right amount of optimistic when shopping for expensive things, instead of searching for reviews, I searched “Huion kamvas 13 not working” (or something along those lines) to learn more about this product (I do this with other things too, I don’t wanna buy something then realize almost everyone who got had it set on fire, or something.)
So far I didnt had issues that were major involving my Kamvas 13. It depends on the device, the user's error, the driver, hdmi port, or the product could have been defective.

id like to add one more thing, for people who are using a pc instead of a laptop and are worried about it being different. my pc has two usb ports, and i was only using one with a usb splitter. i first put the usb of the three way cord into the splitter, and spent a good hour and a half messing with my graphics and thinking it was something to do with my hdmi.
turns out, i ended up resetting the graphics card, had to follow a keyboard shortcut to get it to turn it back on without being able to see anything on my monitor. all i had to do was put the usb cord in my second usb slot built into my pc case.
hope this cautionary tale helps :’)
When i got my tablet I couldn’t use it, because I didn’t have an HDMI adapter.
So i bought an HDMI adapter for my USB, and that didn’t work.
Then I bought a HDMI adapter for my Displayport, and that didn’t work either, UNTIL i turned off my computer and restarted it.
Then all of a sudden the screen was reading on my Tablet.
However, whenever i disconnected the cables and reconnected them, the no signal crap would start again. So I restarted my computer again, and it worked fine.
However, this time, for some reason, after I disconnected the cables from my computer, it stopped working. Ive been restarting my computer over and over again, to no avail. I tried connecting it my brother’s computer too, and it doesn’t work either. I am so frustrated.
mine's a double edged sword, i tried using your first method and i am very happy it worked after i've been trying to find whats wrong with it for the past 14 hours, my pc only has one hdmi cable and it's for my monitor so i skipped that part until i eventually gave it a try, the monitor stuff is a whole different story but thank you so much!

What I would recommend to PC users for ensuring the signal display is working, make sure you plug in both the red USB and the HDMI cable into the computer itself. For the black USB, I plugged it into a block and that made everything work out smoothly!
the thing that worked for me was the disabling and enabling the intel graphics thing, I was scared that it would leave me with no monitor or something but my monitor worked as normal after disabling it and the tablet started working again when I enabled it back, thank you for your help!

I just bought a Huion Kamvas 13 and the first time i plugged the cables it worked perfectly and then when I left my laptop to sleep the problem happens where it says windows doesn't recognize the USB. I've tried using the red USB cable and plugged it into a different charging port and it works for a while before it Huion tablet says it's disconnected now im stuck with the problem.
I've uninstall and reinstall the driver, restarting etc and it's still not working
Did you try the USB on another computer or laptop to see if it works there? I had a case where the same thing happened to me and one issue I mainly recognized was my laptop tablet driver not being updated. Some laptops has tablet modes already installed in them when you are using a drawing tablet. Some works better with drawing tablets while others won't work so well. If you have another device best bet is to try to work it on there to see if it turns on again. You may have to system restore your pc/laptop to its original settings. This helped me out the most when I also had the same issue with other drawing tablets in the past.

i had the same issue and what i do is shut down my laptop, dont forget to turn off the kamvas (but all the cables are all plugged in), and then turn on my laptop again and it works for me
What i did for mine to work is actually just reset (i hold down the power button to fully reset for mine) my laptop (Acer), and then when it was at the main screen when it opens back (where you like put your password to open it) that’s when i tried turning on my huion kamvas 13 and it actually worked haha.

You may have to get a MacBook HDMI adapter/port. They exist and run around $4-$10 Bucks.

That's what worked for me: Update my graphics driver (GeForce experience in my case, both gaming and studio modes), then going to device manager, then display adapters, then disabling intel graphics (this leaves your pc to run only on your graphics card), then enable it again. (I was going to kill myself until I find this out.)
yo I tried updating my graphics driver and deleting windows updates but my laptop keeps detecting it as a keyboard ffs. I was about to pull my hair out until I read this 😔😔 Tysm you're a life saver
I just plugged it into a different port and it worked
I had the same problem (with kamvas pro 13) but I managed to fix it, for my part I had to go in the update settings of windows (type "Update" in the bar) and made a search for update, then click on "optional update" and made all the updates and restart the pc.
This did not fix my problem, however it pushed me to find my problem which was:
I was using an r7 200 series as my adapter for the tablet, and an rx 570 as my monitor adapter.
Both of these cards will only run on radeon adrenaline version like .15 (specifically: Look for the R7 240's last known driver update).

For the guys who follow the methods but didn't get the signal, only you have to do is reset your computer with all the things connected. For me it worked, I was having the same problems but when I restarted my computer I got the signal whit no problems! Hope this helped you! :P

IF ANYONE IS STILL HAVING THIS PROBLEM, right-click on your desktop and open intel graphics settings, then choose display and there will be an option to detect a second screen. Worked for me!
for me laptop sleeping had turned of hdmi detection. after changing resolution temorarily it detected it. ive turned of sleep on laptop

what simply worked for me: making sure the three in one plug had the huion logo facing up when directly connected to the tablet!!
Pen everything is working i can draw some stuff in autodesk sketchbook program while looking to my laptop screen but my drawing tablet screen is still black. And when i open up drawing tablet settings the display option is not clickable either idk if that have to do anything with this issue

I just got my tablet today and it's giving me the no signal error, now I have gotten the screen on once but when that happened neither of my monitor screens were showing a picture. And the image on my tablet was an error code reading something along the lines of "you can't have 2 of these graphics things plugged in"

I had the same NO SIGNAL/POWER SAVING problem from day 1 and tried everything in this video and eventually it turned on,I tried multiple ways to connect and now connect the HDMI and USB(not the RED USB) on my windows laptop.I also got it working with my iMac and bought a HDMI to USB C from the brand ANKER and must say it worked immediately.I think what is important, turn the KAMVAS off but keep it connected and restart you laptop and wait till it is fully booted and then turn the KAMVAS on and wait..

Hello people, i feel obligated to share this, i bought an huion kamvas pro 16 and had tha same issue, mine came with the 3 and 1 cable, (wall plug, HDMI, and USB), and than it happend, 2 days after it arrived. THE WAY I FIXED IT WAS BY UPDATING THE DIVERS OF THE COMPUTER, I HAVE AN DELL INSPIRON. I WENT THE DELL WEBSITE, FIND THE MODEL OF MY COMPUTER AND UPDATED THE DRIVERS AND I TRULY BELIEVE THE THE *TOUCHPAD DRIVER* UPDATE FIXED IT. I RECOMEND YOU LOOK AFTER AND TRY WITH YOUR COMPUTER TOO IN CASE YOUR PROBLEM PERSISTS OR BEFORE YOU GIVE UP

When I turn on my Wacom it says :no signal: go to power saving mode
I dont have much experience with wacom tablets so I wouldn't know how to fully resolve that issue. I would do research more on the type of wacom tablet you have to solve your issues.

Check if the USB is all the way in and plugged into your device. Also if you have a USB power wall plug adapter you can attach it to the red USB extension cord and see if that helps. If not you can contact Huion directly. Another note is if your device isn't powerful enough to run your Kamvas 13 alone it won't work. So you can try the last step I mentioned. Hope that helps!

@@melindabunner8020 I made the mistake of forgetting the HDMI cable, and not putting it into my computer...Every cable must be connected to something.
It was so dark, I couldn't tell what you were doing. But it sounds to me like the issue was occurring when you had everything connected through the USB hub. Some hubs are not meant for charging...they don't provide the necessary power even when plugged into a USB3 port on your computer. So you are not getting the necessary power through the hub to power you monitor.
At least it looked like that was happening. Honestly, I couldn't determine what your 4 methods were other then either use a wall plug or just plug everything directly into your computer.
The other methods I did that helped was simply reinstalling the driver, and the other was plugging out the cords than putting it back after 5he device restarts. Sorry for the late response.
I'm using an XP PEN artist 12 pro. When ever I plug in the hdmi into my pc, it doesn't display. But when I switch the hdi location of my monitor hdmi with the tablet hdmi, the tablet works but my montior doesn't display.

I just bought this tablet (huion camvas13)+ with exclussive data C cable Huion..
But the C-cable didn't work, the tablet only shows notification 'no signal-power saving' and then blank..
I use Acer Swift3 and it comes with USB type 3.1 gen 2 Port that matcing with C-cable Huion's spesifications..

Hear me out, I having this problem many times what I did was removed all the USB cables and restart few times and connect and set everything properly sometimes it's work well sometimes It doesn't so I what I do after is I switched off my laptop for long and connect afterwards and it's working.

I cant do anything with my kamvas 13. It just acts like a second screen which doesnt let me use the pen. How can I fix that?
Try uninstalling the huion Kamvas 13 driver all together and make sure to restart your computer. After that try to reinstall the driver and test the pen again.

guys, try downloading a driver booster to update all your drivers. Also, it is quite effective for me to disable and then enable intel graphics on device manager. I have been worrying for the past 7 hours and this solved my problem. I dont know what specifically happened but when I checked for the driver and try updating, the screen suddenly lit.
I tried everything, plugging into wall, connecting to computer but it just makes the connecting sound then disconnecting sound
You might need to contact the seller on your purchase if it wasn't bought directly from huion. If so you will need to contact them directly on the issue.

I got the bosto 16hd tablet and I was so excited when it finally came in the mail but I keep having the no signal and the power saving screen and nothing I try works!!! I'm seriously annoyed... This is the Huion Kamvas 13 not Bosto. So technical difficulties won't have the same solutions as other brand name tablets.

If you are also using windows 10 I was told to system restore it after an update. Not sure if this is applied for every newer windows 10 system pc but often that can be an issue based off other commenters.

Right click on your desktop and click on "screen resolution" then find the "multiple displays" drop down and select "duplicate these displays" then hit apply. That's what worked for me. Good luck.
It was JUST working, and I can't buy a stupid power supply, if it was required it'd be in the box. It has been working for my laptop for months, as well as my computer, and it was working for this laptop! I hate huion's shitty drivers! The screen gets dinged to hell too! I don't even take the thing anywhere!

@@danblack0753 I reached out to Huion (they sold it to me) and we have been going back and forth a month. They want me to send them “videos” of it not working. Which I have. I’m fighting for a return refund because it’s just not working and they’re trying to get away with it.
@@hunterhudgens4185 I also had horrible past experiences with their customer service as it can be a headache and I agree with you. There was a time I almost wanted to return their kamvas 13 product but got it to work.
I also advise from this experience it is best to order from other sellers like Amazon. With them you can guarantee you will definitely get your money back. Other countries outside from that will be giving you a hard time. Which would make sense since their a third world country. If you paid with paypal I would advise you write a report.
I use a 3 in one cable and the thing that worked for me is to use the other uscb port that the tablet had (the upper one). I think the tablet may have been tug, damaging the lower one i had previously used. I hope this helps someone cause i discovered this by accident!
My laptop says it's connected but the screen isn't working and 'no signal' pops up :o

That never happened to me before. It could be something up with the laptops end. Certain laptops work better with drawing tablets. Have you tried plugging the tablet in another laptop or desktop?

in my case after many attempts it was simply the usb-c in the upper port, on the tablet I had set it on the contrary, it must be turned so that the cable makes a position (U) when I turn it immediately the green light is on and solved
If anyone is still having trouble, make sure that you have your 3 in 1 cable connected to the right USB C port on your tablet.

You have to get it directly from huion themselves. I think you are able to now buy the USB C 3.0 Gen Kamvas 13 cord on amazon just like the kamvas 13.

In my case, my kamvas pro 16 got the no signal problem after I had updated my window PC. I think there was a disconnection between my graphic card and the computer after the update. Then after trying the "Disable graphics driver" solution, the problem solved!!!

1. Search for "Device Manager" in your Start Menu
2. Click on "Display adapters"
3. Right click the Graphic Card (which is supposed to link with your KAMVAS) and click "Disable device"
4. Enable it and restart your computer
It is not 100% working on every situations.

You might want to restart your computer. If that doesn't help and if you have another computer you can try the kamvas 13 on it as some computers work better with graphics tablets.

Hi Dan!My tablet still showing the No Signal but the pen still work on the screen,only the display doesn't appear and the button was red colour,before this I use,it was great but I dont know it suddenly change to this ...how can it be?All the cable I have set perfectly,and the laptop said "The usb you connect before cant be recognized,try to connect it back,if doesnt work,maybe your device have suspended",but the pen still work like blank tablet
None of this worked for me, i just bought this and came to my door not working.. i installed the drivers plug it everything correctly, and when i plug the power on or something. a light flickered the whole screen. LED light is just red and it wont even turn on, or even let me see the huion logo pop in the scree, i dont know what to do..
Hey,I have this problem where my screen turns dark and stops working after 1 minute, I've tried everything checking if the connection is correct,using a 5v charging brick/power supply,unplugging it and plugging it back in, reinstalling the driver and its frustrating now cause its not a common issue I find it in the internet that someone has the same or similar problem as me but the comments either are not helpful at all or have no comments I've already contacted huion about it and no response months later can I have any suggestions on what to do?

Here's what works. Plug it into your graphics card, boom. Done. I had this problem only when connecting to the CPU, it doesn't work at all until I use the GPU to power it.

@@wolffwoo27 I also fixed the CPU problem with "no signal" 2 days ago. First, search up Huion drivers in Google. Now search for the right drivers for your tablet, example: mine is Huion Kamvas Pro Premium. Download the latest drivers, connect your tablet through the HDMI port that's on your CPU or GPU port (PC or Laptop) Done. Make sure all cables are connected (USB,Power,HDMI)
wolffwoo 27 heres how i did it. First i disconnected the cords and the tablet. Then i plugged in the hdmi cord to the graphics card followed by the usb with. Then i plugged in the USB-C cord to the tablet. I pushed it in as much as i could. After that i turned on the tablet and it worked!

I have the same laptop as you and all the methods I showed helped me get the kamvas 13 working. The first time the screen issue did happen I just reinstalled the kamvas 13 driver all together and restarted my Lenovo ideapad laptop. After that my kamvas 13 worked perfectly.

Can someone help me? I fixed the no signal problem but then the pen couldn't work at all, so I just unstalled the driver, restared the computer and installed it again. The screen works good, but the driver says that there is no device plugged. Please help me with this :(

Hi I don't know if you are going to see this message but since 1 hour it is impossible to be able to use the screen of my huion kamvas 13 2020 it is a software problem at 100% I think when I go to the DP settings menu j pressed the menu appeared then a black screen I did all the forums but I found nothing I plugged in and reconnected all my cables I hope I did not throw $ 260 through the window

If you purchased their product through Amazon you are guarantee a refund or an exchange in some sort depending on the seller. I dont know where your purchased it but I'd look into that.
Also I figured if you use the kamvas 13 on a different laptop or PC that had a HDMI port it would work better than another laptop or PC. Some devices are built differently to work better with certain devices while some does not. Unstalling and than reinstalling the drive definitely helped me. Every other method I mentioned also did the trick too. If none doesn't work I'd recommend looking into a warranty for your purchase depending on the seller you originally purchased your kamvas 13 from. Best of luck!

Sometimes I did, and sometimes I didn't. It would depend on your processor or what kind of system you are running or how well your laptops graphics card is.

Right click on your desktop and click on "screen resolution" then fight the "multiple displays" drop down and select "duplicate these displays" then hit apply. That's what worked for me. Good luck.
@@RythymBeast what if your computer doesnt detect or recognize it as another screen? I've tried plugging it into multiple devices and the screen stays black, not even the logo, but when its plugged in pen still registers on the display and the buttons still work. I've found no way to get the screen to turn on or be detected as a screen, but I dont see any exterior damage or cracking, so i guess its an internal hardware issue?

Bro I don't get anything on my screen. I was just drawing and suddenly the buttons stopped working tried unplug it from the pc and when I looked at the tablet, it said "No Signal" and blacked out. After that the only thing that worked were the buttons on the sides and the pen.... Also my model is different from yours, mine is the Huion 221 gt pro. Don't know if you could help
Unfortunately, none of these fixes worked for me. I turn it on and it just makes the connecting sound and then the disconnecting sound.

I got an xp pen 12, it does the no signal thing and it's black. I've tried with the 3 cable USB and the USB C and neither works... idk if it's my pc or the tablet ( I use pc not laptop) 😢
Mine is new and is doing the same thing. Read a support ticket where a Huion person said not to have the USB and HDMI cable plugged into the same port. I only have one USB C port so I'm having to buy another.
