should also point out its NOT easy to cover a song made decades prior and actually do a decent job with it. Chuck Berrys original was released in 1958. Bryan Adams covered it and 1987 and did a phenomonal job with it. Lynyrd Skynyrd in 2000 did it....and also did an awesome job. Very rare for a song to have three fantastic versions of it. This is one of those rare songs.

A decent rendition I just wish it could have been made with the real Lynyrd Skynyrd ~ when this new line up called themselves Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band I loved them,but when they dropped the Tribute Band from their name I can't listen to them they can never be the real Lynyrd Skynyrd
I like the music they made since the crash. Wish they would have called themselves something different also. As someone who has seen the REAL LYNYRD SKYNYRD this is a sham.
@@jeffreycarpenter9817 I totally agree ~ the original line up was incredible & yes I know the revived line up included musicians that were once a part of the original Lynyrd Skynrd they weren't a part of the chemistry that made Lynyrd Skynrd legendary & while I like Johnny van Zant & enjoy the music he made on his own he doesn't quite measure up to Ronnie ~ They totally excluded Artimus Pyle from the new Lynyrd Skynrd ~ MCA their label which the true members of Lynyrd Skynrd grew to hate created the Tribute Band ~ to continue to exploit them even in death ~

Give BlackBerry smoke a listen they've been around about 10 years or so and are great modern Southern rock band
