I never expected to see this!!! Celtic Woman is an old favourite of mine and then I see this... omg.
And for it to be the original cast is 👌👌
I love almost every Celtic Women song, but this one was especially beautiful!
I wanted to add that this is not the original cast. In this video, Lisa Kelly and Chloë Agnew are the only members left. The original also included Órla Fallon, Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, and Máiréad Nesbit (fiddler).

I saw Celtic Women live a few years ago, and their performance of Amazing Grace made me cry. It was beautiful, and I adore the sound of bagpipes ❤️

The things you said about music and the appreciation of so many sounds etc really resonated (sorry) with me. I listen to metal/rock but also love listening to the intricacies of many part harmonies (Voctave spring to mind and that wonderful tenor they have). I used to sing in a band, untrained, growled out and forced high notes and now I can't sing at all. My voice cracks and throat hurts if I try, so I just re-live it all vicariously through the joys of the eclectic and mesmerising world of music. I find this channel fascinating and Tara's reactions wonderful and educational. If only I had her back in the day!

Another 'Amazing Grace' you should watch is Amira Willighagen in concert at the 2017 Classics is Groot (Great) concert in South Africa when she was 13 years old. She won Holland's Got Talent in 2013 when she was 9 years old. Another powerful duet is 'O Sole Mio' with Patricio Buanne when she was 12 year old in the Classics 2016. She is an amazing talent, with a phenomenal voice and range. Love your Reacts, especially you young singers.

Thanks, Tara, for this reaction video! Brought back a lot of fond memories! I first found CW on a KPBS special. 2005 ish. I followed them for years. Have a few of their early CD's. Even went to one of their concerts. Back then the ladies were; Lisa, Meav, Chloe, Orla, and Mairead the fiddle player. In this concert video, Meav and Orla are not present.

Ahh I love the celtic woman. I've taken a short semester of public classical training but I am not as much into classical singing as... what I do? I don't know what my style is XD but I'd like to take more training and was just curious as how to work with a short range or expand it?

Hi again Tara, I’ve been a long time Celtic Women fan. I always enjoy covers of this classic gospel song. But their traditional Irish song renditions are truly tear inspiring. Please give a listen to the “Wail’n Jennys” singing ‘A parting Glass’. It’s often said that Irish ladies sing like angels but I truly believe that the lass’s of the “wail’n Jennys” taught the angels... Awesome reaction! I'd suggest anything from the high kings if you're looking for beautiful, celtic music.
There is a male group similar to this, I do believe they did events together with Celtic Woman called Celtic Thunder. Also been watching your videos and was going to say you should react to Celtic Woman and behold here it is, lol. An other favorite band of mine which is with in the Celtic, folk style music is Wardruna which does the sound track for the TV show Vikings.
For this July 4th, I would like to see your reaction to Celtic Woman's "O, America. I am sure your will enjoy it as much as your reaction to their "Amazing Grace".

Hey Ms. Tara!! I really love your reaction videos! It's very informative and gives me alot of knowledge about singing! If you are ever going to try reacting to SoHyang here are my recommendations:
1. "Everyone" - This is probably one of her emotional performances. Alot of vocal techniques here in this performance. She even said that this song was her hardest to perform
2. "Dream" at DMC Festival - This is her song that she wrote! Almost no one dares to cover this song because it includes alot of stamina, agility and other complex singing techniques.
Also, both of the performances that are stated above, both have big endings which you love 😉

very interesting as always. never thought of the harmony issues with four women singing, and never noticed the lack of the modern blues/pop rasp and fries in Celtic Woman.
Just incase you wonder, its not always violin, for there are violas too that look very similar. I love the strings too!!:) orchestra adds in such emotion in music
