- A Jeep Overlanding adventure. We take advantage of summer to explore crownland camping starting in Alberta as we venture south without a plan, we venture into BC, Idaho, Montana, and eventually reaching Mount St. Helens in Washington before heading back home. We all have busy lives, and when it comes time to make holiday plans, we often try to make the most of our valuable time by planning our vacations down to the last details. If nothing else, we certainly have specific destinations in mind. This summer, Jean and I have a 3 week window and we definitely want to make the most of it, but this time we can’t figure out where we want to go, so … we hit the road towards a starting point, find a place to camp and decide to let the adventure unfold as it will, let the spirit of overlanding be our compass…
My kinda trip, no plans, just go see what you can find.
These were beautiful sites you two.

Thank you for that 👍
Nice job. You always find amazing sites :)
We did some quick math, 98.8% of the campspots we camp at are amazing 😎

Welcome aboard! and thank you
What a great trip. You all rock!! I grew up in Eastern Washington so all those places around Mt St Helen’s bring back awesome memories. All the best to you both 🙏🏾
It was our first trip in that area, can't wait to back and explore some more, especially the Gifford-Pinchot National Forest 👍

when you were at the livingston and looked at that campsite on the ridge you should have kept going south where the confluence of the 2 rivers meet awesome spot was maybe 400m away from where you were
Several campers beat us to it. It was surprisingly busy for weekday....
