Question Chuck is like Yoda when it comes to Corvettes Seriously how did he learn so much Is there a Corvette University that Chuck graduated from or was I MIT Seriously the guy is amazing
I am glad to see that Chuck finally got his star. It was long deserved. I had that same issue with my dash going dark after starting the car and driving off right away. I now always let the car sit until the RPMs go below 900. Keep up the great work.
We all appreciate you Rick and Chuck I for one am grateful for all the work that goes into what you do But I also know it's for the love of the Corvette
OMG, you and Father Chuck have way too much fun together on Tech Tuesdays!!!! I have seen every one and would not miss one for anything. Keep it up. Happy Holidays. 😂
Hey Rick , also a person need to go into the settings and activate the fob left in vehicle chirp. I know everyone has the passive lock activated , I do as well but I also have the fob left in vehicle activated when you leave it in the car, the car chirps 2x. FYI.
Awesome gift for Chuck! 👍 I’m in total agreement that Sundays vlog was your best yet! 😃 But biased as I am the production value was off the charts! 🙌🙌🙌
Tech Tuesday even helped me with my Cadillac CT6 (passive entry lock out). Great work as always Rick and Chuck; keep them coming. Appreciate you always.👍😀
Congratulations Chuck on receiving your tech Tuesday star of fame award now that you have achieve this lofty achievement may your work days be shorter and your pay check be fatter!!!
What a great video tonight. WOW, good stuff! What about an aftermarket Intake and Exhaust? Would these 2 items be a high risk, low risk of no risk at all? Thanks. 🤔
Rick/Chuck, absolutely love Tech Tuesday's, always great content!!! Thank you both for taking time away from work schedules to make us more knowledgeable about our vehicles, at the same time making it fun and entertaining. God's blessings to the both of you. Wishing a Merry Christmas and a wonderful and healthy New Year to you and your families!!! Can't wait for the 2024 version of Coffee with Conti and Tech Tuesday with you and Father Chuck!!
Great episode!! I laughed out loud several times and the “turn the radio up” advice was hilarious! Thanks for all you do Rick, I learn something on every episode and I appreciate all the hours you put in to make this show happen! Chuck is great and you are right, it is wonderful to have an expert technician on the show! I just wish I could find a Bishop Chuck down here in Texas! Merry Christmas to both of you and everyone watching! Best wishes for a healthy and happy new year!! I too, never miss an episode. My television is now primarily used to watch your episodes…and the old ones are fun too!! I’m blessed to have found your channel. One day I hope to be able to visit your dealership! Richard
Whenever I start my C8 I sit until the RPMs come down to normal idle. I personally think it’s could be hard on the transmission to throw it in gear with the rpm’s up at the high level of the initial start. It only takes about a minute for the RPMs to drop.
My powertrain warranty was blocked due to Halltech cold air intake, headers, throttle body and intake manifold I replaced. I took it in to check a transmission code that came in then cleared. I asked to perform a transmission check but they told me they couldn’t just check that. They checked the full system and “found” a throttle body code which I never had before and never had after the service. They asked me to allow for a paid diagnostic of the throttle body since it was aftermarket (GM part) and I declined. When I picked up the car the code was present however it wasn’t there before. They cleared it and has not come back since. I found out the dealership had my power train warranty blocked. Anyway I can restore this?
Speaking of aftermarket exhaust/parts. Do you find a lot of customers selecting the "Dealer Installed - *Performance Exhaust Upgrade* _(Part Numbers: 19433780, 19433781 & 19433782)"_ via GM's partnership with Borla? The only variance being the exhaust tip colors in polished, black and carbon fiber. Has anyone or perhaps you [Chuck & Rick] experienced any CEL's as a result of this optional upgrade _from the factory?_ I know there are several aftermarket exhausts for the C8 which tend to throw a Check Engine Light on a whim. Some experience this dilemma while others never have a problem. What are the advantages of the Performance Exhaust from the factory versus outside companies? Appreciate the clarification gents. Stay classy my friends.
Hello Rick, I was lucky enough to obtain a 2023 Z06 Convertible, options loaded with the Z07 package. Would you have a fairly accurate estimate of how many Z06 Convertible / Z07 package vehicles were built?
For the spinning center caps, Paragon did not show them on their website. Then you displayed they would be available “By the end of OTR 1”. What in the heck is “OTR 1”?
trust me, you DO NOT WANT the 2024 Android infotainment software. The animations, yes, but the primary Google UI is absolute garbage. I'd go back to the 2023 version if I could
I’m not an Auto Warranty litigator, but neither is Rick or Chuck. As mentioned Exterior trim is highly to cause a warranty rejection. Lowering collars, wheel spacers, brake pads, as well as exhaust are a different story. Even the clear HTC engine cover without the rubber access covers changes the heat and water infiltration that hasn’t been validated by GM. And the aftermarket companies certainly aren’t performing the same rigor of testing and data collection as GM is.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍That was the perfect gift for 🙏Chuck.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Chuck well deserved star of fame😀😀😀great idea Rick😯😯
Rick and Chuck…haters will hate. Don’t EVER change!!!!!
I have told all my kids, grandkids and Wife, to never drive off until the engine RPMs drop to idle. Thx for the info.

I would be more concerned how GM would handle a transmission failure with trailer hitch/towing. Hopefully you don't have to find out.
what about high flow catts?

Rick, you mentioned your wheels. What kind are they?
stay tuned!
Great job, and yes, I do know the difficulty in editing audio, video, and graphic as I taught all 3 disciplines for 31 yrs.
Bet you could teach me some stuff I have basic skills but make them work 😉👊
Being a former professional videographer and photographer, I know how hard editing is. Rick does a wonderful job!
He does an excellent job.

Looked like a C5 reunion in the shop.

Rick, what is the normal coolant operating temperature for the c8? I have a 2024 HTC that doesn't seem to go above 175F.
Where did you get the 70th Anniversary emblems?
Paragonperf.com tell them Rick sent ya 😉
Hey Rick, in regards to aftermarket exhausts, is that a bad idea for warranty issues?
For the spinning center caps, Paragon did not show them on their website. Then you displayed they would be available “By the end of OTR 1”. What in the heck is “OTR 1”?
Sorry typo that’s why I can’t edit during the day I get stopped all the time but was under a time crunch QTR 1 of 24 …thanks for watching
@@RickCorvetteConti Thank you, Rick.
I'm starting to think this has become a Trans Tuesday vlog!🤔😉
😲😲😲🤣🤣🤣
Back in the day blowing a tranny meant a completely different thing. 😮 😂😂😂
Does wheels spacers void warranty?
only if they cause an issue because of their install...and that issue alone would not be covered if that was the case
Hey Rick, maybe Chuck or you can answer this question. Would an oil catch can void any warranty directly affecting the engine? Thanks, Tony.
trust me, you DO NOT WANT the 2024 Android infotainment software. The animations, yes, but the primary Google UI is absolute garbage. I'd go back to the 2023 version if I could
