Man, that opening, you’re almost like a real professional at this now, right? Lol. I loved my stay at Ron fellows. Even though it did get down to 29° there which I was surprised about. But the Corvette still held the track. I would love to go head to head with you!
Rick, great Coffeewth Conti. I agree with on the Ron Fellows experience. I did after I bought my C8 in 2021. Everyone should do it. It taught so much above and beyond the driving experience, do much more about the car itself. While I was a bit intimidated tracking the car, because of the potential of an off-track event, the autocross was a blast because the biggest issue would only be knocking over some cones. A bucketlist accomplished.
LOVE THE BOWL!!!! Just love the way the car plants down as you go thru it. Looks like a great time in the Z06. I did my ride along with JJ at the Stingray class. Dude can drive, as that all can, but he has this crazy energy about him Really gets you excited to get back out there.
We had a great time in January of 2021. I had just received received my c8 in October of 2020. The z06 would truly make the track experience that much better!
I was in the same class and had the opportunity to say hi to Rick and meet Ron Fellows as well. Hands Down, the best time I ever had driving their ZO6 at 9/10s of my ability around the track. I can't say how highly I recommend taking advantage of this opportunity if you purchase a ZO6. You will not be disappointed.
An incredible job and unfathomable amount of work to put this all together!!! 🤯💯💯💯 I’m so thrilled we are able to share this experience together! It was great to meet and spend time with Josh and Amanda as well. I had a blast there all week partaking in their different class offerings. Next time make sure to show my fastest lap 🤣🤣🤣 Was so happy for you when they announced your name as the Auto Cross Champ 🏆🏆🏆 Great job my friend…memories for us to remember for a lifetime 🙏
I had the privilege of participating in the Ron Fellows class after getting my Z51 and it was an awesome experience! The lessons I learned over the two days of the Ron Fellows experience have stuck with me, and I drive my Z51 with greater confidence. I respect what my Z51 can do and would love to hop in a Z06 one day to experience the scream of the flat plane crank. Great job Rick!
I did the Stingray Course at the end of August. Six months beforehand I didn't even know I was going to be a Corvette owner. I saw some photos of the Vette, so I said why not. At almost 78 years old I figured I might as well get one while I'm able and can enjoy it. No regrets. I love the Power !! Love the zero to sixty pulls...and cornering !!
Awesome video! I will always regret not going during my first year of c8 ownership but maybe ill trade up to a Z06 and have another chance to get that discount.
I went out this past May for the C8 Stingray owners class. IT WAS A BLAST!! That facility is so scenic and awesome. I learned a lot about my car (2LT Z51). I stayed 2 nights on the property.
They are on their second sets of Z06. I was in an early class my rapid blue was #17. Don’t forget to tell them you can bring a spouse for $75 a day meals included.
Just finished up my 2-day Z06 class yesterday, what a blast and would highly recommend for any owner to take advantage and attend! Autocross clearly wasn't my thing since I didn't even get top 3, lol. Although on the track I felt most confident about that. First time tracking a car for me and I improved during each session working on opportunities coming in with my best lap time of 1:15.4 with a top speed of 131 😅
Rick - Thanks for the memories. Your video allowed me re live my experience at the Stingray class in 2023. Especially liked your ground level video which is a different perspective then my PDR footage. Just to echo your opinion. The Ron Fellows School is a must do. You will regret it if you don't do it.
I really gotta book mine! Finally finished break in just in time for winter lol but got to experience my first full rpm pull omg what a thrill it’s as advertised and then some.
The SAME is true for motorcycles! I am 72 years old, but I still sign up for "Track Days" at Road Atlanta Raceway (just about 30 minutes from my home!) and they are typically 2 days... and how you ride, and the control you ride with, is vastly different when you leave to go home that second day. We ride on Certified Street Tires, on our Own Street-legal bikes! and after doing corners at 100+mph on the Track, then corners on the Twistiest Roads are easier. if you need to make an emergency move in the middle of a curve... you can handle it, because you have done it before at even higher speeds... And hard, even 'emergency', Braking is smooth and no locked up sliding tires... YOU are Safer... your Passengers are Safer... and others on the road around you are Safer... and you DO NOT DESTROY YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT!
Looks like so….. much fun. Rick, what do you think of the Z06 now after having tracked both the Stingray and Z06 at Ron Fellows Driving School? Will you now buy a Z06? If no, why?
good running and some good laps.. ran same time autocross and also won.. i saw you were doing same as me in turn end of strightaway.. hitting about 132 but braking to much and gassing in turn.. running with instructor driving i pdr his run and same speed coming in but he coasted thru turn around 68mph.. he did not brake down into the 50mph range which was my issue looking at my laps..i did not get to run another lap after comparing his 114sec run using info i picked up comparing his lap to mine..
I hope GM or someone comes with an easy connect button extension that can connect close to the steering wheel for for the E-ray users. If tracking it you want to be able to hit the charge + just before the turns. The location sucks.
Cadillac Blackwing owners can do Ron Fellows too!!! I had a BLAST driving the manual on track.....no lift shifting ROCKS! Super facility and outstanding Staff!! ruclips.net/video/stKpLCqxAlY/видео.html&pp=ygUgbWlkbmlnaHQgYXV0byA5OTkgc3ByaW5nIG1vdXRhaW4%3D

Wow thanks for the compliment and for watching trying to get better and edits etc
Where you located and I am up for a challenge 😉😉😉
👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 AWESOME Rick. Well done video!
Ive gone three times & can't wait to go a fourth once they have E-ray classes up and going!
I was representing!!! 🙌

Great video, Rick! I loved my time at Ron Fellows, and got to meet the man himself as he was there for the two days I was there.
2 days in a ZO6! What a car!! GM did such a great job on this car.
I'm sure you'll have an eye out for a nice trade in.
Hi Rick, that is definitely a bucket list item for me. Great camera views. Thanks for sharing!👍👋👌😎
Thank-you!
Thanks Rick !!! The Ron Fellows Z06 school one of the best experiences I had !!!

Thanks buddy means a lot in more ways than one, thank you
@9:08 is the instructor I had in Aug! Great guy, the whole team there are great instructors.
I was there mid August and I drove the #33 Rapid Blue Z06 as well! 😊
That's was the same track I was on. It was a blast going back for more advance class and I don't track my car but worth ever penny to go.

Mr. Conti looks to be very educational Ron Fellows classes!! Great vlog sir!! Life's a dream, Drive it!!👍🏽
Great video/storytelling, and your video should be a 'mandatory watch' for all new Vette owners! - Brooklynjoe Photography 😎
Wow thanks for that 👊👊👊
Enjoyed the show 👍

Going this week for the Z06 class. Cannot wait !!!
Brought back memories when I was there with my 2016 Z06.
Wow, great information on the course very helpful, thanks. Rick can't wait to put that z06 threw its paces..hammer down💪👽
I bought my z06 last November, technically I still have time, after watching this I need to call and see if I can still get in
yes, call....do all I you can, YOU NEED THIS, and will LOVE this!
Awesome video! I will always regret not going during my first year of c8 ownership but maybe ill trade up to a Z06 and have another chance to get that discount.
Hi Rick! Driving home from Southern Illinois! This video is fabulous! You had a great time I can tell❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
Great video Rick! Way to capture the experience. We want to go back!!!
Going in November, thanks for the video!
Great video, amazing, continue giving us videos like this, well done.
@@jaroslav4660 thank you so much
Those people that stand in front of the car are pretty brave. I remember that when I went out there in 2015

Good day to all! 💙🧜♀️
I really gotta book mine! Finally finished break in just in time for winter lol but got to experience my first full rpm pull omg what a thrill it’s as advertised and then some.
Looks like a lot of fun! I think I would prefer that over a cone course in a dig parking lot!!
Let us go to Spring Mountain:)

Rick are you using the paddle shifters. What’s the time difference from stingray from ZO6
