That loco is so darn cool and the sound is very nice. FYI In Green Bay, WI they have a train museum and they have a Big Boy on display!! If you ever get up that way it is a must see takes about 2 hours to see every thing. They even have the Aerotrain with cars, it is out side, also in the outside train shed there is 8 or so steam engines to crawl around on. You can go into the Big Boy cab it was off the charts.
That sounds pretty cool. Bit of a clip from me, but might be worth it. There's a nice museum in Altoona, too. I enjoyed walking that one.
Nice model. It looks like Kato is finally adding more dcc and sound equipped models (at the factory level) to the lineup. Hopefully this will be the new standard.

BLI makes me nervous. Their quality is so hit and miss in my experience - I'd chose almost any other alternative before making a BLI purchase. But that's me.
@@AlleghenyNorthern I have so far had really good products from BLI, cross fingers it continues.
@@Bliz0516 for your sake i hope so. but, i have two ScaleTrains SD40-2 on their way so we'll be doing a comparison of those two models coming up. Seems there's mixed reviews online about the Big Boy, though - and that's what i was concerned of. Some people had no problems, others did. That's the part that makes me nervous about them.
