Good video there Pete and the gang! I used to race all the time at Mildenhall and kings Lynn in 1600 fwd’s and overs we used to strip the carbs after every meeting because of the shale! I did some racing with the Essex barn back in the day too.
Joey will be sound Pete!! dogs don’t get arc eye 👁️ they only see 3 colours so apparently doesn’t affect them. My dog watches me all the time weld and it’s not bothered him yet.
Pete . Ever thought of stretching a bit of old tights material over the top of the ol carbatooters. Im sure wayne can get a few pairs on tinas clubcard. Stop some of the debris going in carb . Good ol cable tie to hold it on . Get a few covers per pair of tights ! Obviously depending on the size of the nora battys......😅
@@garymiles80 done it before on the 2.3 engines, but usually they backfire through the carb when you start them because of the cams and it blows the tights away 😂
I think dogs hear the gas, my dog (Jack) goes nuts over the welder - he can hear the leak I can't find - goes turbo nuts when I actually arc up. 😆 Doesn't care about the grinder, drills or saws. I've never owned a lorry, why do the wheels get stuck? I'm gutted I wont be there, I've got to do drinking things in drinking places /o\

Now it's like formula 1 😂 cutting an inch off your water tank LIKE ITS GOING TO MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE THAT EXTRA BIT but like you said Pete the rules are the rules you either have to like it or lump it......I lumped it and sold my kit 😂😂😂😂 I love joey hes brilliant
Why don't you use air line on water tank so it's pressurised then juat put water on the welds thats the way my dad used to test the water tanks he made

Pete, if you make a spare filler cap, drill and fit a tyre valve, the tank will hold pressure whilst you test it
Knowing how spedeworth operate they will ban you for excessive welding on the fuel tank 🤣
