iPhone 12 vs Galaxy S21! Which one would you pick? Go:
iPhone 12 because of its Five year software update and iOS endless optimisation...

I think the iPhone 12, mainly because of the design and also the environment I live in is Apple dominant.
Obviously iphone
S21 unless you post videos on social media a lot. It's cheaper and better overall.
You realize you’re such an Apple guy, when you pull the notification bar using the top right corner even on Android. Hahaha
😭😂🤣😂🤣🤣 Most definitely!
I thought it was the top right corner?

He is an iPhone guy obviously but that's not always true even in Xiaomi devices running miui 12 u can enable the setting which will separate notification panel and control centre
Android moment
It's crazy how far both brands have come. Considering my first smart phone was an iPhone 3g. Then my first android was a galaxy s2.
What are you on now
That is crazy. My first smartphone was the iPhones 3Gs as well and back then when the iPhone 4s was just coming out, I didn’t know what they all were. I just thought it was a regular phone like those sidekick.

They did lower the price, by 200 dollars
Unfortunately not in Brazil :/
But also gave a plastic back, removed micro sd card support and gave a lower resolution display.
@@Skrullx273 well you have to make some cuts to lower it by that much
@@Randomicity1 exactly. Plus the PLUS isn't plastic like the base. And the lower res is better
@@loluthought2953 we aren’t talking about the plus
The reason the iPhone 12 battery life lasts a bit longer is because it only has a 60hz refresh and the Samsung galaxy S21 has 120hz adaptive refresh rate, so the S21 uses up more battery with a 120hz refresh rate. If you set it to a standard 60hz, it would last longer than the iPhone 12
S21 for sure. It's the better overal phone for me! The plastic feels really nice btw and much more durable. And with a case it doesn't matter anyway...
That glass is premium tho.
@@meathead207 yes but it would give the phone an extra 20 grams of weight... 190 grams would be to much for a 6.2 inch phone... the weight is also important...
@@swigga69 Someone could just get a plus if they want glass.
Don’t really think it’s acceptable for such an expensive phone to have fake glass. I think Samsung only really care about S21 Ultra
People saying glass feels premium only know things based on reviews...its just a thing that all the reviewers have established that plastic is bad? Believe me it ain't nothing like it looks like...i have S21+ but i was about to buy s21 just because how cool it looked especially the white one... Plus it has all the features like wireless power sharing reverse wireless charging and all.... don't go by the words or these reviewers just go to a Samsung outlet and feel it for yourself its fkn great.
Of course an Apple fan will choose the iPhone as personal phone but in real world when the comparison is fair, S21 comes out on the top.
Have you actually used an iPhone doe?
@@Alex-bm2hw yup and couldn't go past a week with it. Btw that Hobo Eren dp is cool. #AOT
I’ve become so used to Face ID on the iPhone I don’t believe you could switch back to finger print reader.
That's cap. Other than 120Hz and more zoom versatility it literally offers nothing more. When the comparison is fair they're both great and meant for different people. Don't present your prejudice as fact.
@Kuro Neko is it bad
I don’t think the plastic back is a huge deal! I’ve held the s21 and yes, it does feel less premium but most people just put a case on their phone anyway so design matters more for them (if the case is clear). Plus, it has some advantages! It doesn’t shutter as easy as glass, Samsung have made it matte so it doesn’t attract fingerprints and to me it looks like metal! On the other hand, the iPhone 12 is a fingerprint magnet! That’s just my opinion though and I get that this phone may be too expensive to be made of plastic
I went from an LG G7 to an iPhone 12. After changing all the settings to exactly how I like, thanks to Brandon Butch’s videos I love the 12. I’ve had androids for many years and iOS is like a fresh breath of air in a way. This is not my first iOS device, but I’m impressed. I got the 128gb blue iPhone 12 and have had it since the beginning of January.
Android and Samsung have come a long way from the G7.
@@marufio I’m well aware of that, and in a lot of aspects Android can be superior to iPhone. But I do love this phone, and don’t regret buying it.
Just got the galaxy s21 plus with 2 cases, buds pro, charger for less than $900.
Snapdragon or Exynos ?
Where the charge at now? 🙃
the s21 has a 120 hz display so with that alone the s21 is worth glass back or not. who cares about the back. You're looking at the screen all day. you're just going to put a case on the phone anyways.
I care about my back I need to see value for my money and 120hz is important but won’t be noticed in that many day to day apps the IPhone comes on top
@@tavonalexander3047 idk man I have a galaxy s20 and I bought a iphone 12 mini, but I returned it. Every one kept telling me I wouldn't notice the 120hz difference. But they haven't tried a 120hz. It was hurting my eyes personally on the 12 mini. It seemed slower and choppy. I just couldn't do it.
@@jakers9932 well on my eyes 120hz is smooth but honestly the 60hz on the iPhone 12 isn’t slow or laggy in fact it’s also smooth in it’s own right 120hz may still be smoother though it comes down to saying smooth and smoother are at different levels but get the same job done but hey if it has a toll on your eyes I ain’t saying go for it
@@tavonalexander3047 I think you need to try a 120Hz phone. I thought of the same before I got the Ultra. It's like once you black you can't go back that sort of thing. It's probably the best feature the iPhone hasn't got.
@@betaraybill3548 I have tried it and I honestly don’t feel bad for leaving though it is pretty cool just that it’s not something I see as ground breaking
If you're the type to use a case wont the back technically be plastic anyway🤷🏾♂️
iPhone 12 was my pick. Paired with my Apple Watch I’m loving it. It’s simple, smooth, and of course has a great camera.
In my personal opinion, I went to check out the s21 in store and it didn’t feel bad at all. Even though I usually go for the Ultra/ Pro Max variants, if I had to be stuck with base s21, I really wouldn’t mind the plastic back. (Plus I don’t rock cases 90% of the time)
plastic is not bad coming in a few years in all new gsm. you still use case

Very useful thanks and I was comparing between them also and still not decided 😁
What is wrong with a plastic back?
The S21 is currently $700 starting at 128gb of storage. The iPhone 12 is $830 with 64gb of storage. For $880 you can get the 128gb version. Unless you are heavy into posting videos on social media, I'd definitely get the S21. It's a better phone overall and it's cheaper.

Honestly it’s personal preference. If you keep your phone for a long time can’t beat iOS updates. I’ve personally used both iOS and Samsung Android and I prefer iOS just for smoothness of the software and the integration of the ecosystem (I know... people always say “the ecosystem”, but it’s true).
@@rondaward7602 the ecosystem part is kinda true but the smoothness part is not. Samsung has caught up, with 120Hz refresh rate it's much smoother than iPhone. But we all know Apple will release it with the 2021 iPhone then you'll know what you missed.

Tbh iphone 12 is a better choice bcz it will hold it's value much better and 6 years of updates ..and really gud battery life with awsm cameras ... S21 Ultra is the only one to go in the S series ❤️
So you buy a phone to enjoy it six years later? I'd rather buy a phone that provides the best value currently and enjoy it for 2-3 years and trade with another rather than wait for it to hold strong for six years time with just software and totaled hardware. In six years time with an iPhone you'll have to change battery, face id sensor, probably speakers and even display itself that rounds about $700 in total. That's stupidity in my book but to each their own.
@@christmg4682 .. lol you didn't saw the point ... A phone with 6 years of updates will hold it's value much better after 2-3 years bcz the second person who is gonna buy it will still get 3 more years of software support .. so the value is automatically held up in iphones ... I've tried everything for 7 days to get the Android file transfer to work (along with other apps) to move photos, videos and music back and forth with my Mac and can't get it to work like the S7 does. I like everything else about the S21, but this is a deal breaker to me and tomorrow I'm going to exercise my ability to switch to the 12. Because I have a Mac, you would think I would naturally get the 12, but I was concerned with battery capacity (4000mah vs. 2815). I found it interesting that the review sided with the 12 for battery. I noticed that most apple users keep their screens dim to conserve battery and are the ones looking for a way to charge. BTW, my preference for size is the 12. It's the same size as my S7 which fits nicely in my front pocket. The S21 is only 5/16" taller, but I now find myself putting it in the back pocket which doesn't work best for me. I thought this was the best review I have seen so far, but I don't care about the back surface because I use a protective case.

Samsung's phone doesn't give that premium vibe because of symmetry. Have a look at the iPhone, perfect symmetry, feels like a slab. On the other hand, Samsung lacks symmetry like Apple, uneven bezels, uneven curves, no solid slab-like feeling.
I think S21 has better performance and has Larger storage capacity then iphone 12, so I choose S21 definitely.
It has ridiculously worse performance (Exynos & SD888 to A14) and that s why every android user (including myself) is never unbiased about these matters.

You guys just got a fixed mindset that "apple is the best". I love both of them, I've always been open minded about them but you guys still think android is like it used to. Its not that far behind anymore, as you could see in the video
@@allen2real what do you mean you guys I’ve owned the galaxy s8 and s9. Loved both phones but then I switched to the iPhone 8 Plus and it works amazing specially when your whole family and friends have the same ecosystem you can interact flawlessly with them.
@@enrique9495 thats lit, just know, I love both phones but its annoying when Apple fans talk down on Android
I’ll take plastic all day long. My iPhone 11 has had a busted back since the first month after I got it.
Let's be honest samsung is slaying the apple giant. You can't look at this 21 series and not say dayyyuumm
