My brother in law is a die hard Chevy guy. He always has a few in his yard for spare parts. Im a Ford guy. Never had major problems with any of my Ford's
I've got two chevys, one is more or less parked in my yard (it's rotted out bad) the other is going to the trans shop this week. I've got two 31 year old fords that have had a lot of work done, but never let me down. The only trouble free thing is my 400k km toyota corolla 😂 all of them are currently plated and insured
Im a chevy guy but only for the 99-06 chevy trucks. Ive had an 03 silverado 1500 i still have and drive weekly a 2001 chevy tahoe and ive had a 2000 silverado which is now sold. All of them were great trucks for me and i stay far and wide from anything 07 and up. I was transmission guy for about 2 years and the shop i did them in we had hundreds of 6l80’s to maybe 3 or 4 ford or dodge transmissions. Stay away from newer chevy’s the 4l60 is where its at
Brother I’m a ford guy through and through but I drove a bronco 2 through high school. I live probably 30min from you and will give you the gas money to take that turd to the scrap yard. They are horrible. lol
Tagged and insured, even the broke down ford is tagged and insured

I keep hearing that, my coworker has been having issues on a new truck. It’s unfortunate
That 4.6 sounds like it has a dead hole.
I agree, it doesn’t sound good
@@fellowshipandcars2327 like no compression on one or two cylinders.

Hahaha that’s funny, I just sold it.
Chevy always runs and drives. HEI and a carburator will make anything run. Even a Ford!!
Absolutely, I agree
My 40 year old Chevy drives. My 22 year old Ford.... ehhhhhh. Needs a motor.
Hahahaha that’s good, what kind of ford?
@@fellowshipandcars2327 2002 F150 extended cab with the 4.6 2V. Has a tick something awful on the passenger side bank and can't figure out what it is.
@@OlePorkchop probably a valve lash adjuster. Easy fix, take the valve cover off and replace them all.
@@CodyGarfield Already done, no change. Both lash adjusters and rockers for the entire bank. Even pumped them up with oil before I installed them.
@ how many miles? And it doesn’t go away after warming up?
