Thanks for taking your time to make a video on this, building the circuit itself takes time. I didn't know that PCBway still ships to India, could you tell us how much it costs in total (including import duty and shipping)? The last I checked they would fabricate it for 2$ but shipping was around 25$ which makes it expensive for small hobby projects. On top of that, given the current situation I fear the customs would put a heavy duty on it or block it altogether.

Customs might be high, I suggest you to check with customs department once,
And yes, building circuits takes hell lot of time, thank you for appreciating our efforts 💯
If you would like to know more about customs and or import drop a msg on instagram.

What about pump syphoning and wasting all sanitizer.did that happen. In case of sanitizer with downward outlet this syphoning effect happens.

    Excellent circuit 👍to minimise cost.
Would be better to explain connections as other youtubers are explaining their work & sharing knowledge.
Dont mind but all of your viewers may not be good in electronics.
Rest i appreciate your minimalist approach 👍👍👍👍👍

    Sunlight ir sensor not work

    • @mission_critical
      @mission_critical  4 года назад

It does work, you just need to adjust the sensitivity, other than that, I have placed the sensor in bottom side of enclosure which basically would have minimum impact of sunlight, yet if you face that issue, use some tape and it should work.

Brilliant but with some flaws - 1 The selection of soaps or handrubs you can use is highly limted as many soaps or sanitizers are thick which that little pump wouldnt be able to pump. I would rather resort to using a servo with a NE555 Timer IC which can generate an appropriate signal for the servo. You should also include the schematic so that people who cannot order pcb's can build this on a prototype board or on a breadboard. Other than that, Brilliant.

Thank you for the suggestions, Schematic is attached in blog, will be up in few minutes,
My pump worked with Sanitizer, anyway I have plans for upgrades, will be much efficient in that version,

how to prevent wastage of those few drop after we take back our hands..
Also under the "Make in India" cap you are promoting pcbways !!

Add resistance ( Blockage ) at end cap, or try to place the nozzle at higher altitude than container.
regarding Make in India, the real fact in golden words is that India doesn't have best PCB services, sure there few, but they charge atleast 200% more also they don't take orders from individuals, you need to have a GST number and Company registration to order from them, the basic goal of Make in India is to atleast start designing and process of that and no i am not misusing or misguiding their goals, i strongly believe in Make in India. these things take time, you can't all of a suddenly change your source of purchases, i hope you would understand the depth of this information and not take it in wrong way.
Atlast, Thank You for Subscribing to Mission Critical
