Hi Saravan, I am trying this project, could you share with me the potentiometer measure please? I found available 500 ohms, 500k ohms, and 20k ohms, which one should be the best for this project or any other? Thanks for the help

Hello Mr Saravanan,, We have developed a small Solenoid Valve which can operate at 6V/12V DC with inbuilt nozzle on the outlet to create good flow, without flooding the Sanitizer.Solenoid Draws just .5A at 6V. We need complete ultrasonic solution in compact water proof package to work with 6V/12V DC

I really like your designs. They are great.
However with due respect, I've to point out that you are wrong when you said "The freewheeling diode is for suppressing EMF radiation"
Actually it is to provide a short-circuit path for the back-emf transient voltage. It is for protecting the semiconductor switching device.
You see.. all inductive loads such as coils, contacton, solenoids & of course Motors generate a very high back-emf at the moment of switching off. This back-emf can be hundreds or thousands of volts which can damage the switching transistor.
Due to Lenz's law the direction of the back-emf is always in the opposite direction of the applied voltage. Which is why the freewheeling diode is connected in reverse bias wrt the supply voltage. When the load gets voltage, the diode will be reverse-biased & no current will pass through it.
When the transistor is turned off, the motor will generate a transient back-emf spike. At this moment the freewheeling diode gets forward-biased & will short-ckt the Motor's terminals so that the back- emf won't act on the transistor thus protecting it.

Dear Saravanan. Thanks for sharing this ..A good tech should have to reply for the major drawbacks of this circuit. A lot of people asked here how to change the ON time =as long as the hand is there in the sensor but not greater than 5 sec. The code provided works such a way the santizer getting wasted because the pumb turning on min 2 sec and even u remove the hand in 1 sec it wont turn off. Please update and help.
change the delay time and also change if(distance_cm>set_cm) in motor low condition for as long as the hand is there in the sensor.

Hi sir I made automatic hand sanitizer machine with u r guideline .
My problem is when liquid level is high in one liter bottle .Up to starten level drops coming from nozzle..
I used submerged 5v dc pump.
I placed hole on one side of the bottle. Pls tell me where to place hole to insert the tube to avoid drops from nozzle
To solve this you have to use a Solinoid valve.

and i was using only sinhlr power source of 12Volt 1A adapter and tried with 7805 ( which was providing the power supply to the arduino UNO) and also supplying 12 volts to the motor with the same adapter but there was a power drop issue i.e. motor was not getting proper power to get start..please help me out by telling what kind of power source of what ampere supply you are using here and also tell me about the nozzle spray from where i could get that one..I am stucked sir, please help me..please reply..i am waiting for your reply..!!!
What type of motor you use? Only R385 motor requires less than 1 amp current.Other types may require more current.Try using 2 amp adapter.Also a Mosfet driver or a relay board required to drive the pump.
@@SaravananAL i was using mini DC submersible pump and i have used relay module too and BC547 as an alternative (but both didn't work) then also i found that if arduino is swtiching relay module and powering the sensor then also power gets dropped and motor was not driving..as a result i am using two power supplies one to drive arduino and sensor and another supply to drive motor only..Please suggest me an alternative if i could use only single power source supply for this..Please help me out
