    I'm considering buying boots with boa cable ratchet built in as I've see the new boots don't use normal lace eyelets. But this is definitely a nifty idea.

      Perfectly. The factory tape is still holding. Now mind you, I dont use these year round. Mainy November to April.

      They are very thin but they feel no different than normal laces

    I imagine without reinforced eyelets (most trainers) those cheese wire like laces may cut through the holes particularly near the top of the trainers

      @@hypnotistraywilliams unless you're talking a bout high HIGH quality Velcro, this is infinitely superior...you can't really understand it till you've had shoes/boots with this system...

    This is how all shoes should be now a days. Laces are the worst way to fit shoes
