Glad you're not too disheartened bro, you put in some serious effort on that paint work. Whichever option you choose I'm following the process, all the best to you whatever route you pick. 💪🏽 Either way, I can't wait for the rebuild to begin! 🍻 Keep up the great work 👍🏽
As someone who's had stock to built, b-series and d-series Civics.... man, you would do yourself a huge favor to build a d-series. B swaps fundamentally change the flavor of the ef, making it heavier and more serious. I've built a D16Z6 to put out 150 whp, which is more than that stock b-series puts down. It was not difficult, and was done with readily available parts. It was also dirt cheap. I splurged on a Bisimoto Engineering stage 3 vtec cam. Vtec definitely kicks in, yo. Nobody ever talks about the weight gain from the b swap, which is nearly 200 pounds over the front wheels. The 91 Si in which my built D16 motor sits is my favorite Civic of them all, and I've owned ef, eg and ek (all at the same time, PLUS a CRX). If you have access to someone who will tune it on a Hondata S300, consider the d. So anyway, that's my rant if you end up going with another car. Saving your first love is always a priority, though. :)
hows the rad fine lmao? nah but fr new core support an few things you should be chillin got a friend tthat had tthe same thing happen an itts been a bitch to fix
Bottom line is that you were following too close. If you leave a decent gap between cars , you don't crash into the car in front It appears to be a write off.
Stay positive man, one day you'll look back on this as a minor setback in the car's life.
❤
