    I think you're the first video that really made it clear to me how the wrist and looser grip is involved - thank you so much for this, subbed!

    Nice video, will try that in our play! Can u make make a video on Body rotation in badminton, when is the optimal time to rotate the body to get the optimal contact point for different shots! two things mainly
    1> After playing a net shot if the opponent sends shuttle over your head! ( rotate body and take back steps or take back steps later rotate and play shot)
    2> in doubles how to judge the shuttle and rotate the body for same round the ahead Corner!

    Cool shots from the side. I think I still can improve my smash with new tips. What I am straggling with is hitting the shuttle in a optimal hitting point - it feels like I do it a bit to high so shuttle is not enough in front of me. It just feels different, like it goes much faster even that I don't feel it in my arm. Another mistake I think I'm doing is to much speed - probably that is what's causing the wrong hitting point.

      Have you tried recording your own smash? In the way you get to see where you’re doing it wrong or where you can practice☺️

      @@Basicfeather Thanks for a reply. Yes, I actually recorded it recently and thought that elbow in my preparation was a bit to low but you said in the video that that is kind of OK. In general I think I'm trying to smash to hard and the consistency is not there for that much power. I will try the steps you presented - one of the best tips I've seen. Thank you for good content.

      @@jankowalski6691 great! Remember to relax, that is key! Being able to create the explosive tension can only come from being super relaxed until the hitting point

    My main problems are tensing too early and slicing the shuttle.

      Try and practice being overly relaxed.. That might help you find the in between eventually.. Requires some practice of course :)

    I want to ask, when using your wrist, do your fingers relax and grip naturally, right? Because I have heard many coaches say to hold your fingers tightly when you contact the shuttlecock

    • @stanclips8227
      @stanclips8227 2 месяца назад

      You can squeeze the grip just before make contact with the shuttlecock to create more power.
