- Adding deceptions to your badminton game can add a lot of value. It will make your opponent hesitate which might lead to you having the advantage in the rallies.
In this video, we will teach you how to play the drives with a deception. We will go through the technique both on the forehand and the backhand side.
This shot can be used whether you're playing singles, doubles or mixed doubles.

Are you remembering moving straight towards the shuttle? And try and play the shuttle in a flat angle instead of a downwards angle like a kill.

@@Basicfeather i mean, normal drive or kill is way easier. this added deception needs a lot of practice and handwork to execute. i need more practice. forehand is difficult, backhand is easier because i can use my thumb to help guide the racket.also your movement is flawless . thanks for the good tip as always cheers.
