Idk about Evan Neal at right tackle , me personally I want him cut that dude is a bum . But I believe we will place the bum at guard and let that dude Runyan we got from the raiders in free agency play right tackle why because unlike Evan Neal he actually can ! That is what I believe Joe Schoen will do .
Joe Schoen has built Giants team to win in 2024, which is the reason why he did not use the first round pick for a quarterback. The rumors about the Giants moving up to the third spot were a smokescreen. The Giants would have traded with the Patriots if they could have stolen the pick. Otherwise, the Giants believe they can win with the quarterbacks on their roster.

@@TopSH00TTA28 2022 he got us to the playoffs.. 2023 we had an ABISMAL O-Line that EVERY QB got hurt because of.. DJ was in there right at the beginning when they were the worse..
We are paying him his money no matter what.. Giants needs to see what he can do with a WR1 and with an O-Line that is well coached and has better linemen in it..
-To me.. Nothing that happened in 2023 with any of our QB's mattered with the O-Line we had and the horrific o-line coaching.. Need to see what DJ brings this year.. If he is 2022 and better, then the right choice was made.. if he is wrecked.. then Lock and Devito can finish the season.. And fwiw, I love Devito.. I hope they are helping him get great.. He would be a hometown hero if he could ever become a QB1 in this town.. There is lotsa love for Tommy D.

Because he never has and he's had plenty of opportunity to show otherwise. And he's been especially bad whenever he didn't have Saquon on the field as a security blanket. Saquon's gone now. He's never had a 4000 yard passing season, or 3500 even...he's never played a full season in his career, always injured. Anyone who is super high on him totally changing his career around because he acquired a rookie receiver is being naive and getting their hopes up way too much. He's gone after this next season and it's quite possible that Drew Lock will be the starter week 1.
He can't see field . doesn't throw with anticipation..can't read a defense of leverage which means he don't understands the defender movements.And he makes poor decisions and scared to make a turn over
@@retrocny5625 I wouldn't call a RB who averaged 3.9 yards a carry "a security blanket" for a QB. Jones played a full season in 2022, he sat out week 17 since the Giants already clinched the playoffs and had nothing to play for.
Drew Lock has 0% chance of startin week 1 if Jones is healthy - Lock has a much higher chance starting week 17.
Most folks just want a change and think despite watching 2 other NYG QBs get killed last year, throw for less yards per game and worse comp % against the easier part of the schedule-- that another QB will do better. I get it, but looking at the big picture and knowing football-- most fans need to understand no QB will do well on NYG until the pass rush gets to Hurts and Dak, and the OL gives more than 2.2 seconds to pass (we all saw Hurts with 2.2 vs. Tampa-- that's DJ's time to throw every game)-- hopefully they will go away from the delayed RPOs, PA fakes and let Jones set back with spread WRs quick slants like vs. MINN or PHX, curls then bombs as this OL gels/ blocks for both the passing and running game. If only NYG could play WASH every week? Thibs gets sacks vs. WASH, Jones is like 5-1-1 even with Slayton dropping multiple TDs over the years vs. them. The only loss was that offsides on the missed FG then rekick lose smh. I have faith the trenches will be better this year and DJ will respond. I'm not sold on him, but also know no QB would have survived what he's been through and to think if Engram could catch a simple game sealing over the shoulder grab vs. Eagles-- NYG would had a division title with Jones that dismal year too.
