  • Decided to give these guys a try. ‪@VaerWatches‬
    They seem to have a nice product and nice approach to the market, so I started with their entry level field watch to see if it lived up to the hype.

    There seems to be zero anti-reflective coating on the crystals on these.

      They say there is... I have found that even a $5k watch that says anti-reflective, still reflects plenty...

      Can't go wrong with either. Vaer has a little more variety... Their 42mm Divers look really nice...

      Yeah, looks awesome on the new orange Nato style strap I got today. Would love it in a 44mm version, but field watches tend to run small.

      @@nickschweickert-lx2kz Yeah, 38mm-40mm is ideal for your size. Lots of options there from Vaer, Bertucci and just about any name out there. What's your budget?

    40mm is fucking massive

      Not when you are my size. 42-45mm is my sweet spot

      @@pyry1948 I get it... And it sucks, because there are a shit ton of designs that I love, but they come in 39mm and that's just too tiny for my wrists... They look like a girls watch on me. haha

      @@pyry1948 Not sure. But I am nearly 6'4" and 245lbs... I have a 45mm on my wrist right now and to me it looks normal. 🙂

      @@SquireSCA Bought one, didn't keep time. Sent it back after answering 20 questions. The new one they sent me didn't keep time either. Chalked it up to my stupidity and just threw it out.

      @@vmarc4682 How does it not keep time? they use a very reputable movement so it should be completely fine
