- Memory 5 is the last DiMA Old Memory Puzzle in the main quest of Fallout 4: Far Harbor DLC.
The fifth memory is optional, however completing it will start the quest for Marine Shipments which will lead you to Marine Armor Set, as well as Marine Wetsuit and Tactical Helmet.

whoever put this in the dlc should be fired no fun at all.... maybe if there was no clip it wouldnt be so bad but the building mechanic drive me crazy
if there was no clip it would be fun and shorten the 5th one
Exactly, it completely disrupts the vibe of fallout 4 and post apocalyptic rpg, since the came out i strongly disagree with the building" settlement stuff, but anyways, the little part make me hate this dlc and bethesda
A puzzle where you have to think....oh right shouldnt have add it in this game, lets complain about dumbing it down instead.
+Spacefrisian you are out of your element, thats not the point, the point is "it disrupts the flow" of the fallout series, the wasteland post apocalyptic aim, we didn't ask for "space invaders"
+Spacefrisian It was an easy, but annoyingly tedious puzzle. Placing those boxes one at a time was a boring nightmare.

Thanks for this. The last part really threw me for a loop. I really wish Bethesda had found a different way to do this puzzle if they felt a puzzle was absolutely needed. It was sort of immersion breaking... for me at least.
i enjoyed the puzzles until i got to this one and realized i was always short one connecting block

Definitely an interesting addition to the game, must admit it was quite frustrating though, the first four were good, the last one took a lot of thinking and trial and error that it ended up distracting from what was happening outside the memory bank... Still an amazing game! Thank you for the walkthrogh, helped out with the last part of puzzle 5!
For the longest time I forgot you could store stuff in the workbench, so I ended up walking back and forth to pick up the blocks for about two hours. Fuck me.
Me too. All the way up until the last firewall when I had to look up this tutorial. I was so fucking angry at myself omg.

To this day you are still a godsend, I’d never done Far Harbor before and decided to give it a shot. I about felt violent rage at the last puzzle, if not for your video I would’ve absolutely given up.
Can I just say thank you for jumping right into it and not having a 1 minute intro explaining everything? Or a "hey guys, now I've been hearing blah blah blah"
Thanks for the help with this! The last one was the one I needed help with. I was following along with your steps, and just prior to relaying the beam to the "green block redirection path" part towards the end, I started placing defenses so they'd be ready. The game glitched out or something, because I looked up, and the final firewall was gone! I connected the short path there, and watched the little buggers transfer the data. The beam wasn't fully directed, and all of the firewalls were not down.
Gave up on this just because I didn't enjoy the 4 before this
Thank you so very much, liked the first two puzzles it was fun but it got very boring after that and I would of given up if it wasn't for you video, you saved the day. Who ever designed the puzzle really created an immersion breaker.
Thank you for your video. Yours was the only one who did a complete walk through. (Another idiot did one, but his commentary literally was like listening to Mr. Rogers high on something illegal.). With your help, I was able to figure out the last turn. Much appreciated. (Yours also looks like you were on console. I could tell from the others that they were on PC and didn't have to struggle with lining up the relays properly as console users must.)
ummm dude... he has an (esc) key... he is definitely on PC... you can't do KBM on consoles for FO4

Basically Portal, Minecraft, and any turret defence game you care to mention. These puzzles are so far out of keeping with the Fallout universe; they remind me of the infuriating symbols puzzles in Skyrim.However, I have to say thanks to the uploader for this. An absolute life saver! Just a word of advice, though: Try going a bit slower in some of the movements and placements. It's easy to get disorientated with a lot of similar scenery like this. Once again, though, cheers!

This is the absolute worst part of the game.
Hi the easy way to do it expecially on part 5 is to stack 2 cubes right in front of the firewall's weak spot put a turret there that will shot the block after about 1min and you will be able to access it. I hope i helped
This is the only way if stuck after an hour because you missed a decoder relay.

litterly this is the worst thing Ive ever played in a Bethesda game I would rather play dead money then do this puzzle bullshit.

If too hard or bugs are stopping you, and you want to save 3 or 4 hours
of your time try this. No need to use mod's that can crash the game.
If you are on PC you can create and run a bat file (or just use the game
consul) enter one line at a time, closing the consul after each line is
entered with the following lines:
setstage dlc03mq04 150
setstage dlc03mq04 250
setstage dlc03mq04 350
setstage dlc03mq04 450
setstage dlc03mq04 550
This will complete the puzzle stages and give you the five memory tapes.
You simply need to listen to each of them to activate the new quest map
markers.

Don't kill me: I actually kind of enjoyed this bullshit. It was a change of pace atypical for thw series, and unhackable in the conventional sense, being that DiMA used his own unique, antique algorithms.
I have the patience for Minecraft, I have the patience for whatever the hell Assassin's Creed's puzzle B.S. is, so I have the patience for this too.
PS: I have the feeling they were building off of what you went through with Kellogg's memories when they cooked this up. A sort of, "Remember when we did that? It was sort of cool, right? Let's do something more like that!"
and people complained about the vice city rc helicopter mission being hard...
got all of nearly all of them on my own but this one had me stumped.

I knew as soon as that asshole DiMA started talking about recovered memories, there was going to be some bullshit vr junk, had know idea it would be this bad, and this overboard. One would have been bad enough, but five? I really don't love Bethesda as much as I used to.

This last VR-Puzzle was too much. The first 2-3 shorter puzzles would have been more than enough. After 3 puzzles i was thinking: "Ok, now it gets boring. Hope that's it." But no, they are coming with a fifth, that is longer to solve than the first 4 riddles together...

I'm doing the 4th on ps4, I've dont the puzzles but the drones keep on coming and the percent doesnt go up, I left it for five mins and nothing happened!
the little bugs on the floor have to collect the data and get back to the blue beam at the start without dying from the drones

Yo this is broken , the bugs won't pick up the info at the end, they just sit there, I reset my xbox, reloaded the save, it won't work, I'm fucked, I can't complete the main story now, please help????
