I agree, but I refuse to spend the stupid money they want for a set. I have knockoffs and judge me all you like, but I can replace a wheel for about $200. I have zero brand loyalty.
Look best on MK3 supra's though.
@@Ryanbmc4 I had knock offs and the real thing too. I get it, but you are probably losing out on some quality and weight savings. Plus not only that, it's not about loyalty, but giving money to the brands that actually innovated and put the effort into the design.

I used to really love the Advan Super, those double three spoke wheels.
You see so many of the same wheel you start to forget how Dope they are. But TE37s are one of the greatest wheels ever made. Just like the meister, NT03 and RPF1, those Wats Alex mentioned. We live in a time of so many Gorgeous custom wheels options though. It depends so much on the car and the type of build though.

What do you of the 3SDM 3.70? Hard to find but I have picked a pair out and I think in the super concave configuration with exposed hardware is absolutely stellar. Planning on adding them to my B7 Widebody Audi A4
My favourites are a set of HRE 505s. If I could ever find a set of 4x100 R16 9J 505s I'd totally rock them on my Mk2.
ZRH on the Lamborghini was my favourite.very very nice.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention those Volks TE37s!! 😂 I love the Watanabes and those Rotiforms you mentioned, but both are for exclusive car. Watanabes are for classic Japanese cars, and those Rotiforms are for Lambos mostly. My BBS selection would had been LMs and SRs.

Let me make things easy cause this is a hard topic ....I enlisted the help of 3 rim books to help me .
1 : if your car is big you gonna need rims that look strong as in thick spokes ,let's say you have a 2009 Nissan skyline /370gt you'll wanna get something like.. ruff r360, fox rs-7 or niche LeMans m322.
2:Maybe your car is more of a sport compact ,a 2019 lancer you have a wider range to choose from anything from rotiform to get that stance look or you have a need for speed go with Advan RS wheels or if your pockets can't handle it get some ruff r360 or r355 if you're in doubt when choosing rims on any car go mesh .
3:If your ride is light we talking old school cars this is when it gets fun cause you don't have any limits once it fits , let's say it's a mr2 roadster I'll go with a set of ruff r358 I actually have a set on my car ,Advan rg2 or RS or rz .... Again if in doubt just get a set of mesh wheels fill the wheel arch up and get as low as you need for a aggressive look . In the end it's a risk not everyone has the balls to go hard and make your choice work most of us pussy out and go safe because we think it's to big or wide . Another thing you can do is get a game do up your car on that if it looks good to you do it if you need approval of others post it up on FB , ig or whatever and get a second opinion . I own a ek3 hatch my dream wheels are from fifteen 52 lol not gonna say the style but I need a set in white .
the vossen vws-2 can be gotten for 2kish a set, every year vossen does a closeout sale and the three vws models are always on there for under half the normal price

Work Meister S1 3-piece Wheels(wide/deep lip), Work Meister S1R(wide/deep lip), those deep/wide lip Volk te37v, Volk te37, Rota v-grid, Japanracing JR-12, Borbet T, Japanracing JR-3, Brock B1 these all are my "dream" wheels. I would love those is 16 " size and like 10" wide, because want deep/wide lip, but there is a issue in 4x100 pcd. Ok, those Work meister S1R is totally custom built, so i would get my dream wheel size and look at the same package, but damn they cost like 2200€/set. So no, i can get 3 set of other my "dream" wheels.
Theres a set of these on craigslist right now in my area. They cost as much as some cars though.
