Well April, i watched your video because I am planning to visit the Death Valley soon. I read most of the comments, didn’t want to repeat any. Thank you so much for this very informative video, most people just film and post. It is important to share your story and to to pass your experience with the travellers. Keep the good work, and listen to the advised and your next video will be great.
We actually love Yosemite, but the place we tend to go to the most National Park Service wise is in Sulpher OK. At one time this place was Platt National Park, but was bumped down to a national recreation area. It is Arbuckle National Recreation Area. This was a park built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's and they placed every tree and rock. Here you will find the Historic national park area with camping alongside the Travertine Creek and just a few miles south this area is the Arbuckle Lake with lots of camping. If you decide to go, let us know, we would love to show you around! Ren
Nice video. We are going here soon. Plan on Dantes View, the Sand Dunes for sunrise, Artist P., etc. We are then headed over to Zion NP...the on to MOAB, UT. We have never been to Zion but I heard it is nice. We have been to MOAB many times and it's incredible. Make your next video there! Also Yosemite is great as well and the hike up Half Dome.
Thank you very much for posting this video. I was planning on going in December, but I might go sooner problably in October. Real informative video. I'm planing on going to all the national parts in California. So, this might be my 1st one with my family.
Josh Ben Bernales Hi! you can probably see all of the places that we mention in a day if you start early! We decided to place our selves because we had a bit more time.
I've explored most of Death Valley over the years, and have been to all the places in this video at least once. The video didn't cover Red Pass/Titus Canyon, which is a great drive! Other points of interest that I've visited include the Ubehebe Crater and the Eureka Sand Dunes.
RUclips recommended this video. Glad they did. Nice, down to earth view of the places to visit in the park. Also, the information at the end was quite helpful. Will now go look at some of your other videos. Thumbs up! Disregard the negative comments of the few neanderthals.
enjoyed that, thanks for sharing, hoping to get there next April(2020) for some Astro-photography. Come to the UK see our NP,but I warn you, bring an umbrella, haha. Take care u 2,be safe. liked n subbed.
Very nice.....my family and I are planning to go in early April 2020. Thanks for sharing...... How did you get to Furnace Creek? Which direction did you come from? We will be coming from the 15 from Los Angeles.
Hey, this video is great thanks very much. A quick question, is it possible to drive in one direction and see all the spots you guys have in your video or would you recommend having a base which is central to all the spots? Thanks for any info 🤙
Thank you very much for a lots of tips. great video. By the way, April, Do you mind tell me what kind of camera did you record this video? My D850 is not good for video at all.
Great video and helpful. We are travelling to USA for 6 weeks in 2020 (west coast areas) and this helps us plan our trip to Death Valley. Could you see a lot of stars at night? and what is this excellent background music?
Yes! You can see a ton of stars at night. We are very glad you enjoyed the video! The music for all of our videos are made by my husband, Carlos. Your trip sounds amazing! Your gonna have a lot of fun.
Another great video with great info 👍 the only thing I would like is for it to move slower between frames. I had to keep rewinding to read stuff. But, maybe I’m just slow☺️
Melissa Sun Hi! I am wearing an REI backpack, I'll leave you the link below: www.rei.com/product/892074/rei-co-op-flash-18-pack and for Carlos I didn't find a link but it's a canvas billabong backpack 😉
I don't think there are any rules against that but you wouldn't want to do that as this is not table salt that is safe for consumption. Do you drink the seawater?
@@emstnjowtolmsn By accident ;-) But indeed the salt on the floor could contain other stuff than sodium chloride. OTOH, people let seawater evaporate to make 'sea salt'.
Wonderful job showing an overview of this incredible Park! I love Death Valley! Catching up on your other videos. We are also big fans of the National Parks. Check us out! Just subscribed #697
Hi! Thank you for your interest, currently our lifes are extremely busy so we haven't been able to go out into the wild. We miss it so much! But hopefully we'll have some time soon! Thank you for asking!

GPS works everywhere. However if your map app relies on cell phone coverage you will outta luck. I use Gaia, which allows you to download an assortment of maps that can be used anywhere.
Great video. I like your factual, no-nonsense style. Been to DV twice, and your video brought back many memories. Thanks
Thanks for the info. I'm trying to convince my family to take a trip to death valley.
What an amazing NP! Great video! We were in DV back in November after all the mountain ranges got snow capped after a storm! Beautiful!!!

Death Valley has moved to the northeast of the state of California 0:16. Must be plate tectonics on overdrive!
damnnn 😬
Thanks for that overview. Great job getting to the point and not feeling rushed.

This was very helpful, thanks! My wife and I are headed back in March and can't wait. We only had one day and one night on our last trip to the park.
Josh Ben Bernales Hi! you can probably see all of the places that we mention in a day if you start early! We decided to place our selves because we had a bit more time.
April Lorenz Sounds good. We’re actually going to have a good four days in the park this time around so we’ll be good for time 🙂
Josh Ben Bernales fantastic, enjoy!

Great video man I was looking for one like this for my trip tomorrow

Can you visit all the places in half a day just by driving? Not planning to do a hike just sightseeing and a lil bit of walking.
Thanks for sharing.

Well done, very interesting, thanks!

Mylo Music Hi Mylo! I would recommend having a base which is central to all the spots, it will make your traveling a lot easier and enjoyable.
Just subscribed!
Great clip!!! Thank you for the information.
nice video you 2 look great and happy :D
It was funny how you guys were laughing at each other for being nervous on camera. Lol.
Love the video!!!! Thanks a bunch!!!👍
Very helpful man! thanks
What is this music? It's so nice. Thanks for the vid!
Thank you very much for a lots of tips. great video. By the way, April, Do you mind tell me what kind of camera did you record this video? My D850 is not good for video at all.
Hi! We used the YI action camera and the Canon Rebel I5. So glad you found the video helpful 🙂
Nice video. I noticed a few “no dogs” postings. Can you recall any pet friendly areas? Planing for December 2019. Cheers
I just spent a week camping in DV. My Golden was not on a leash once.
Sweet. Thanks
The temperature in Death Valley reaches up to 134 degrees fahrenheit! Isn't that hot?!?
Greetings from sub 533!!
Excellent content my friend!!
black mountain side your awesome! thank you! ❤
You should have shown us The Undertaker's house.
With all due respect, your wife or girlfriend is gorgeous !

Thanks April :) Ill check out your other videos soon too =-]
Becareful it gets very hot like 130 F during summer.. people have died there..
Looks like the badlands of SD
At :19 in did you really say that Death Valley is in Northeast California?
Hey guys I like your video! You should check
Yellowstone national Park it's a beautiful place
Another great video with great info 👍 the only thing I would like is for it to move slower between frames. I had to keep rewinding to read stuff. But, maybe I’m just slow☺️
diane4ns Thank you for letting me know, I will try to keep the texts longer for next time ☺
I like how you move fast. The pause button is right there ^^
That way you cover a lot and keep it interesting.
Well done!
What backpack is that? Looks great and comfortable for hiking!
Melissa Sun Hi! I am wearing an REI backpack, I'll leave you the link below: www.rei.com/product/892074/rei-co-op-flash-18-pack and for Carlos I didn't find a link but it's a canvas billabong backpack 😉
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Haha wtf, Death Valley is definitely not in Northeastern CA! Lassen would be NE, not Death Valley! It's only two hours from Vegas!
Is it allowed to taste the salt on the ground?
I don't think there are any rules against that but you wouldn't want to do that as this is not table salt that is safe for consumption. Do you drink the seawater?
@@emstnjowtolmsn By accident ;-) But indeed the salt on the floor could contain other stuff than sodium chloride. OTOH, people let seawater evaporate to make 'sea salt'.
@@PaulaJBean I sure wouldn't eat homemade sea salt. Sea salt at the store goes through a lot more cleaning and purifying.
Most outhouses are air conditioned in the winter.

Thanks friends, nice vid ❤️👍
Joe Cajon Thank you for watching! ❤

Oh shit
Does gps work?
j12torts it does!
GPS works pretty much everywhere however Google Maps is not always accurate and there is no cell service in most of the park.
GPS works everywhere. However if your map app relies on cell phone coverage you will outta luck. I use Gaia, which allows you to download an assortment of maps that can be used anywhere.
i guess you cant expect anything but rock and sand. not much to do but walk around in 120 degree heat.
Did you just say Death Valley is in "North East California?"... LOL...
One suggestion, don't use gloomy background music. Otherwise, your video is pretty good.
although it is gloomy, i am quite mesmerized by it..
Most slides move too fast ......can’t appreciate
Background sounds creepy.
Great video ! You should check out the video I made about my same trip (:
Until you see a skinwalker.
Nice video but you got Death Valley's location wrong. North East of California.? Also, the music 😕. Need something with an upbeat.
nice but you mispronounced the "Nevada" like so many people who arent from there do.
The music is fucking weird-had to mute
Who else got creepy out from the music?🤣
One of the lowest? It’s the lowest place on the continent.
jusr let the babe do the video next time
