If you ever go back to Long Horn Restaurant try the Wild West shrimp boat …it’s an appetizer, but I love it so much I just add a loaded bake potato and make it a meal. My waitress said she did that too. It’s seasoned very well and some of the best shrimp you can get at a chain restaurants 😊 Carol that beer was as big as your head. 😁

We loved the Saltgrass too!!! Great food & wonderful service. AND nothing better than an ice cold beer on a ripping hot day outside, hahaha!! We first tried it back in March 2024 & wondered why we never knew about this place before?? I mean, we do live in Orlando & we like to explore everywhere. Next time you folks come to Orlando area..... go to a Portuguese and Brazilian grocery store called Seabra. They have a fun cafeteria-type line with a lot of great food choices. Very reasonable prices!!

Looks a nice steakhouse. We have only ever been to Outback a few times. Usually they don't give a good portion of mash and broccoli but the steaks are amazing.
Ribs are good too especially cooked well.
We love the discount shops , AC is always so cold and they have plenty of bargains 👍
Try Salt grass, if like us you will love it. We have never done outback steakhouse so maybe on our next trip
I do love a bargain shop to browse around, the aircon makes you feel like shopping in a refrigerator 😂. It doesn't stop me though. Lol. xx

Those meals looked so delicious! I had never heard of that steakhouse. There's quite a few of them, but unfortunately, the closest one to me is 300 miles away.

Wish I could do them myself it would save me a fortune, but I must confess I do treat myself to salon nails when going on holiday. Last trip I had chrome effect which gives a mirrored look.

Saltgrass steak house is the best. I wish they had one where I live. Anytime I'm in Texas (where the restaurant started) I make sure I go to one.

@@steveandcarole, you're welcome. The first Saltgrass restaurant was situated in Houston Texas, right next to a historic trail where cattle herders would drive their cattle south to graze off the salt grasses of the Texas Gulf Coast.

When in Florida are there many vegan options on international drive . I’ve just started following you both !
Restaurants do have vegan meals choices on menu, not sure of fast food chains but would assume so. Hope this helps sorry I can't be more precise. x

Just come back from visting Orlando for the first time at the Rosen Inn Internation. It looks like we had pretty similar holidays! We did Epcot too along with the sea screamer speedboat at Clearwater Beach. Breakfast was great at the Rosen Inn, but sometimes that bacon was overcooked.

I remember the Mercado centre - we used to get steak at The Butcher shop at that time. The Rosen Pointe is an excellent location and never lets you down. Your meal looked really good , how does it compare to Longhorns ? Sad that it’s your last night but at least you’re back in February xx you’re going to hit that 5k so remember your promise!! Can’t wait to see that happen xx
Steve had a massive steak in The Butchers shop, many many years ago. Salt grass is our preference over Longhorns.

We did Longhorns last year Steve wasn't impressed. I enjoyed my meal there. Out of the two we both prefer Salt grass. You will be there very soon. xx
