Foxton Locks is a grade II listed site, home to the longest, steepest staircase flight of locks in Britain 🇬🇧
We’ve had many enjoyable times on narrowboats, and find boating a wonderfully relaxing (and exciting) experience. I hope your are doing well.🍀 You are also in my thoughts.♥And I hope you are reading the comments of older videos. 😊I have just watched this wonderful, incredible video. It must be so incredibly relaxing to spend a day on the boat. That's wonderful that your husband can steer such a ship. It's such a narrow channel, you need experience. The story of Foxton Locks was very interesting and I loved the explanation from your husband. It's so nice for me to see this corner of England through you. We often look for other places in England to spend our holidays but it usually ends up being our beloved Cornwall again😂. We have been to Devon twice. That was wonderful too. Yes, I am mindful of myself. We can't do anything at the moment and are trying to spend as much time as possible until the end of February. It doesn't help us to drive ourselves crazy now. We did that in December, but now we're waiting to see what happens. It's so nice that we can write to each other from a distance and keep in touch🥰. There are so many bad things going on in the world at the moment and sometimes bad comments from people on RUclips instead of being loving and good to each other. Hello dear Gabi! Oh I must apologise for my late reply, we’ve had such a busy time here. Oh you must try a narrow boat at some point, it is truly the most relaxing thing imaginable, the peace and quiet and gentle pace, the maximum speed on canals is 5mph so everyone is slow and mindful, it’s a wonderful thing to experience. Of course Devon and Cornwall are wonderful but we have lots of other places too that are worth a visit if you get a chance! We had a caravan when the children were younger and would tour around the UK 🇬🇧 always lots to see and do.
Now we are heading into mid February I hope you’re still feeling positive for the hospital appointment, it has been along wait for you both. I really do hope all will be well and go on the fact that if it was an “emergency” they’d not have kept you waiting so long… this is my hope 🙏

@hideawaycottage Hi Angela...I've lived here for most of my life, I came here with my parents when l was 18...a long time ago! I will always miss the UK, but we have a good life here. I miss the history and traditions of England most. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home and garden. Looking forward to more videos...x
