I've been looking forward to sharing this with you for a while... Ever since I knew I was heading out to Melbourne with my bike. Top of the list of things I wanted to do, was go to meet the guys at the cycling brand that I love... and that of course is MAAP!
It will come as no surprise to a lot of you that I am a massive fan of the brand, as you can always see me wearing their kit. I really don't think there is anything better quality out there... so, making this episode really was a dream come true!
I go on a ride with co-founder Jarrad we have a chat and drink coffee, then also I get to visit not only the beautiful new flagship store MAAP LaB... but I also meet up with Jarrad to chat more at their amazing HQ. I really did have an incredible time and I can't thank them enough.

Nicely done. Been a roadie for more than 30 years so not new to changes in cycling apparel. There are many new couture cycling brands out there in the last few years. MAAP quality, fit and finish is top on my list. Great interview and all the best for your new role.

Great interview. Maap does need more stores worldwide. It’s hard to find their clothes besides the website. They do have amazing quality product and it’s interesting to see what they put out in the near future

Glad to hear of the plans to open a London store. I wear Assos pretty much exclusively because they have a store I can go in, have a look, get advice and try stuff on. It’ll be awesome to do the same with MAAP - their stuff just looks so good!

I've just received my first MAAP jacket last week but unfortunately it turned out the wrong size was shipped. The guys at MAAP were super quick in arranging my return process and I'm now waiting for the right size. I did not even unfold the wrong jacket but of course I had the chance to touch and man, it felt top quality stuff !!! Can't wait to have my jacket and ride the heck out of it ! Cheers from Italy !

Didn't know MAAP HQ is in Melbourne. I've been to Black Sheep Cycling HQ in Brisbane though. Seems like alot of cycling apparel companies in Australia!
Great vid. For a long time I thought MAAP must be some Dutch or Scandinavian brand since they tend to have those double ‘a’s in their words. I was surprised to learn that they are from Melbourne, where I live.

Congrats TCT! I recently got my evade pro model. And I only used it for a few rides but i noticed that the logo on the arm is starting to peel off. Is this normal? Do you experience this as well on your evade pros? Any answer would help. Cheers!
No I can’t say I’ve ever had that… I had one issue before ages ago and I spoke with the customer service department… they replied super fast and had a replacement sent out straight away!

Them prices though! $65 US for a cotton t-shirt you wear off the bike, $42 for a cap/beenie, no bibs under $250. Even Assos has a $180 "entry" bib which is comfy and solid. I guess I'm not in the percentage MAAP is marketing to...unless I just don't know what I'm missing in their clothing technology/fitment/longevity/comfort, etc. and the price justifies the cost.
Yeah I mean obviously they’re not cheap… but they’re honestly worth it! I’m not even just saying this, but I’d pay double for the bibs… they’re that comfortable and in all fairness the quality and fit across their whole range is second to none!
I'm in agreement. Both Maap and Rapha design great stuff, but their prices are like purchasing a Ferrari.
