Your video gives us, the viewers, a real sense of place; the countryside, the character of the towns and villages, the people, their friendliness. You are so lucky to be able to experience something that few of will ever see through our own eyes on our cycling travels. Thank you for the insight into Columbia. I hope you find coffee without sugar!
As always Excelent content, and I am so proud that your are showing the beatuy of our routes, hope all of u guys are having an amazing time here. Bless
@@HansComyn because I'm British and stupid. Apologies, i didn't even know that until today. We spell it that way due to Christopher Columbus spelling in English. Interestingly British Columbia in Canada is spelt this way and named after the same man.

Im at 24:40 and haven't finished watching the video, but already decided to watch this episode couple more times. such a brilliant story telling video. this is the video of why we are cycling. My most-liked video in your recent episodes. thank you martijn and co.
Full Letras! Muchos solo hacemos el ascenso desde Mariquita pero vale la pena subir tambien desde Manizales, excelente video disftrutaron del paisaje la comida con un poco de frio 😅 felicitaciones muchachos 🎉
Life affirming, as always. Thanks for taking us with you, it is awesome viewing. P.S. If you want to take the bitterness out of your coffee, don't add sugar; add salt 👌
The finish at Alto de Letras (at least the Strava segment) is 150m further than where you sprinted ... so we do not know who won. Bedankt voor de mooie video!
What an experience! And the editing is topnotch. One question - I noticed the Colombian rider uses the same hand signals used in the UK but Mike didn't seem to be following them. Do you not use these in the Netherlands? As we're moving to the Netherlands soon, I'm very curious about this.
Boys, I've expressed my love for Mikey before, but I'm not comfortable with this topless stuff at the start, there's a time and a place for that sort of thing and Maap are providing good kit for a reason...Love your work as always, keep having fun!

What a great video, Martijn. Excellent. I remember when I rode up Haleakala, had quite the headache until I got back below 2800. Love a long climb.
Love this Columbia series, the landscapes are so different to what we are used to in Europe and especially the UK for me.
ColOmbia. No idea why people keep making this mistake.

Doesn’t Alberto count as Latino!?
@@Fernwee lol that’s who I’m talking about! Im happy he is part of the group! ❤️
The good coffee is to expensive for most locals and exported. Therefore generally the coffee in Columbia is pretty bad.
Yeah it makes me wonder. People says Colombia produces good coffee then how come the coffee tasted bad.
That decent was awesome! Good tunes to go along, keep up the great videos
Really enjoyed this one. Fantastic riding and great filming / vibe’ing.
LOVE This series Colombia

@@Fernwee just a pinch of salt that is...But yeah, it's a treat.
You can try the Taiwan KOM Challenge, Total:105km , Altitude: 0m - 3275m, i think it is on par with this climb.
Great vid, looks amazing.fair play 💪💪🏁
Woah! What a place to ride :) Not done the film yet, but loving the scenery and flavour you've captured.

Hehe we do, Mike is just very stubborn and the Colombian rider overly cautious ;)
@@Fernwee 😄
Man your Spanish skills 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Good gawd that was a long climb - into the clouds… 😅🍻
COLUMBIA IS A NICE PLACE, GUYS U ARE NEXT TO THE BRAZIL SO I THINK U NEED TRY SOMETHING OVERTHERE ALSO.
Inspiring!
Awesome
The animal that you saw in the hotel is an armadillo.
Just like a 'big' Cauberg really 😄
we ride in Atlantico-Colombia??
Great video - what about those dogs by the road, wild?
I think so yes
They usually belong to some houses or farms in the area, they walk freely as they want
Sick video, you guys did the two sides of the climb, that is amazing. well done, just curious what was the time on Letras segment?
Verrrry slow!
Grüße from good old Germany, vamos👌🏻🙋🏼♂️
Grate video :)!
4 support guys, one motorcycle and one car for 3 riders?
Seems like the new style of „high impact cycling“ has just been invented.

Hahaha point taken
chappeau!
on this ride, for those that used sram ...what gear ratio did you use? 10-33 or 10-36
Both of those!
Nice music choice!
Brazil Fernwee
I'd say even descending for 3 hours must have been pretty tough even without all of that climbing 😮💨
Haha all in good spirits ;)
De gitaar intermezzos zijn f*cking chill Martijn ....
