My Grandfather told me when I was 22 that I should have fun and enjoy every age as I pass through it. He said as you get older you definition of fun will change with age and you don't want to regret missing out on your "younger" fun times. I took His advice to heart and am now enjoying my 50's with all the gusto I can muster and looking forward to the 60's just as much. Now I'm the Grandpa passing my Grandfathers advice to my Children and Grandchildren. How fun is that!!!!

@@moneyman7.62 Plan out your life young don't ever say I can do that later or do it tomorrow always try your best to follow your dreams. If you have a dream to be something, or what ever you want out of life don't let that dream slip though your fingers. I turned 50 this year in 4 months ill be 51 the doors are closing fast on things I wish I could have done. I never finished college I always thought Ill do it next year while I done okay in life I'm stuck with one employer make good money I won't be able to anywhere else without a college degree. Now my health isn't as good as it used to be so things I wanted to do can't do now. Your going to make mistakes in life that's part of being human we don't have life experience until were too old to make decisions. Don't settle for anyone else who drag you down in life I have been married twice lot of that was because I settled for someone who wasn't compatible with me.

Within every old man is a young boy. Life starts to become a collection of memories. It's like a chapter book. Every decade is a new chapter of life. Childhood. Teenage. Wild 20's. Settled down 30's. Becoming your parents 40's. Midlife crisis 50s. Becoming an elder 60's. Etc. Every decade, you look a little different. You cannot go backwards, no matter how much you want. Experience as MUCH as you can because once your older, it becomes difficult to do certain things. Make memories now. That way, you'll be at peace knowing you've "Been there, done that" & missed out on nothing.

Well I'm watching this video because I'm 17... I'll be 18 next year. So legally classified as an adult, and I'm scared because I'm like wow time really did just fly by... As a 5 year old, 10 year old, 13, 14 year old I always thought "I'm not gonna be an adult in a while it's gonna take forever" but here I am... About to be an adult.... And I'm just scared cuz it's like, am I gonna be able to have that same fun? I never thought I would feel old but knowing my generation has ended and many people from my generation including myself literally have the potential to get our own homes and marry within this decade it scares me. It makes me feel old!😂 and I don't like that because in a way I'm scared because what if I didn't make the most of my childhood? I don't want to grow up forgetting how fun it is to be young and also have life regrets. I know I'm not old but the fact that I WILL be scares me because it's different. Knowing that time flies so quickly also scares me.

When I was your age, I didn’t think about it too much. I thought time went slow back in High School. It’s fun huh, with your friends and teachers that you grew up with. But trust me, I wish I could say things get better.. but in reality life hits you like a sack of bricks. I don’t want to depress you, but just be prepared.
I’m turning 25 in November and I’m so confused with my life. It feels like time goes way too fast now, and I don’t know what to do anymore. It doesn’t matter how prepared you think you are, and if you think college or fancy universities will make you feel better.. think again.
My advice, keep in contact with some close friends and never let them go. Because a friend is hard to find after high school.. and not to mention a gf/bf. Just play your cards right and instead of worrying about the future, focus on the present. Don’t stay at home too much either, I let video games steal a big portion of my childhood unfortunately.. But it doesn’t really matter what you do, because as you get older their is a void that grows in all of us..

I’m 37 , I’ve been thinking about aging since I turned 21 . I don’t feel old per se, I workout regularly, try to eat right, and stay with the times. But every now and then things creep up, that let me know I’m not in my 20s anymore . My knees occasionally ache, I find some people 18-25 annoying, or think certain music & pop culture is garbage. I’ve been bald since like 25, so not phased by that . When I see many of my peers The same age, I think they look rough, and question if they think that of me.

I'm not old but not a spring chicken either, but re aging. You get wiser and don't do or say as many dumb things as you used to. You think about your health more and your time becomes more and more valuable because you know that you have less and less of it. You are more laid back and don't get as stressed about things.

I think that with our advances in communications tech, we've become hyper sensitive to little things. EVERYTHING in the twenty first century is blown utterly out of proportion.
What would have been a little negativity or temporary set back once upon a time becomes fatalism when it's magnified under the media scope.
Still, I think this is just because all of this tech is still new. Once we've adapted to cope with it better, we'll evolve past such petty scaremongering.

In my early years I found like a 'young old person'. I guess that's the wrong term but I didn't want to be this (character). Maybe if I could hit reset and be someone else that would be ok but I think I resent it, life is a burden not a blessing that you had no say in. Your hand is forced in that you can end it, but not to be here to begin with 🤔 just seems like everyones just taking up space, in each others way and trying to prove something for no reason at all

I think as people get older they get to the point where they've 'seen it all before'. I'm only twenty two, and I already feel this way about politics. In my teens I was manipulable and quick to anger at the latest 'threat to society'... but now I don't even read the news, because it's just the same shit that I've seen before. I'm wondering if it will start to happen with other things as well. Do you ever feel this way? But then again, with the internet, I guess there's ALWAYS something new.

I am 34 years old, and I have noticed that parts of my facial hair has turned white - mostly on my chin. It's not super-noticeable, but there are a few discrete white spots.
Other than that, I cannot really think of any particular signs of aging - I have a full head of thick hair, and I still sometimes have to show ID when I buy strong alcohol, usually when I have very clean medium-length hair and have shaved off all beard hair, since apparently that combination gives me a "youthful" appearance for some reason.
But I also take some pride in belonging to an upcoming "experienced" generation, at least from the 20-year-olds' perspective.
I also make sure to exercise my brain, my muscles and my balance as much as possible, since this will help a lot with reducing the risks of dementia and loss of balance.

    GETTING OLD
Here is a story about getting old
One that I think you should be told
First your skin begins to wrinkle
And your eyes soon lose their twinkle
Then arthritis soon begins to set in
That is when the pain starts to begin
Then your back begins to ache
And the pain killers you start to take
Then your memory forgets to recall
Then you start to shrink and get small
Then your hearing begins to fade And now you need a hearing aid
Going to another room something to get
By the time you get there for you forget
Now your tummy turns to blubber
And begins to bounce like rubber
But so as not you cause distress
Everything else I will let you guess
So now that I have you told
    Try to avoid getting old.
If you must I ask you, please
Try slipping into it with ease.
