@@CarsWithSteve I love it so far. Unfortunately, I had it for two weeks and I had to go overseas but I’ll be back next week. Seemed like after about five days the car went into deep sleep. But I’m very excited to get back into it. In fact, I’ll take my first major road trip around Christmas time to go see my kids in Montana. That’s 1400 miles one way.
Wow a 1400 mile trip is going to be a blast! BlueCruise haha
@@CarsWithSteve Ford says 83% of that trip is blue Cruise compatible. I’ll tell my kids I’m excited to see them, but I’m almost as excited to drive the trip. Haha

some say its in the Ford user account login, but no, not in Australia at least.
You're welcome! It's not just you.. there surprisingly isn't a battery level anywhere accessible in the cluster or infotainment screen

Hello Steve. So if we assume that we import this from USA to other country,will we be able to listen to the radio of our country ,will the radio stations,the presets and icons on am,fm and siriusXM change according to that available in the country?
Hey! Yes, the radio stations that are played will be region specific and based on the location of the car

How can we add RUclips and other watch apps in the entertainment section
I wish there was a way to do it! There's no factory option for Netflix support and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay don't support video playback yet
screen is a lil bit slow to respond otherwise it’s a cool thing

I have been driving a Model 3 for 4+ years but I am intrigued by this vehicle, once Tesla opens up the Supercharger network to Ford and others. I'm a SiriusXM subscriber and for 4 years have been frustrated by the lack of native SXM. Futzing with a phone is not cool. This was a very thorough video! Excellent!😀
Thanks! Looking like the charging network is opening soon, with a free adapter for eligible Mach-E and Lightning owners! How have you enjoyed driving the Model 3 so far? It'll be great to be able to use SiriusXM and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay! It's always been a head scratcher why Tesla doesn't allow those options
@@CarsWithSteve The Model 3 is great. The Model 3 and Y are probably the most well-rounded EVs out there, but that doesn't mean they don't have their shortcomings. For instance, Elon Musk is completely sold on the idea that cameras can replace RADAR, LIDAR, etc. I disagree. Cameras work well under certain weather situations, but if it's snowing or something like that, not so great. On the other hand, I would only use AutoPilot if the weather was good. I do not have FSD. I'm not sold on it and I enjoy driving the car too much to care. Another thing that irks me are the crappy rain-sensing auto-wipers. Again, 1st world problem, but the solution to the problem is simple and cheap. Why does Musk insist on being so obstinate? I'm also not a fan of removing the steering wheel stalks. In fact, it may be a dealbreaker for me whenever I replace my 3. I want to see the new Equinox too. Next year manufacturers will start using the Tesla charge port so I may wait until then. Plus, not sure what's going on with tax credits. It's very convoluted. Anyway, great video!
I was reading the Lidar vs camera issue a while back, it really doesn't make sense why they would focus on just cameras outside of cost. How do you find the autopilot system works? Neat to hear a current owner's reasoning, so appreciate the feedback here!
The Equinox EV looks neat, still haven't had a chance to review that one yet but the specs look good
@@CarsWithSteve I have basic Autopilot which is a fancy term for adaptive cruise control and auto steering in 1 lane. They both work great but I only use the lane steering function if I am taking my eyes off the road for a moment. Every 20-30 seconds you have to apply pressure to the wheel anyway. My car is 4 years old so it has all the sensors.
Ah I figured that was the case with the base autopilot system. I'd be curious to know which way you decide to go when you end up upgrading
How can i tell if i have Synch 4A or Synch 4 in Mach E
If your graphics look like they do in this video you're on Sync 4a. You'll have a home icon on the top left vs in Sync 4 it's a car instead. They're pretty much identical though from a feature perspective

That's right.. no sounds in the games. This is a first gen screen with games so I think once the tech improves there should be some improvements to game availability

Unfortunately not.. the next generation Ford screens are based on Android OS but the older screens won't be updated with that software

CarPlay and Android Auto don't support RUclips playback but there are some devices that let you mirror.. I haven't come across one yet that works reliably..
