Your videos on Tesla S suspension were very helpful to me. I was able to replace my solenoid and then charge the system using the onboard pump. My wife was so surprised since she had been asking me if I were going to take the Tesla to a mechanic and have it fixed!
Rolf, maybe I missed it but why did you have to replace the solenoid? Didn't you also replace the air compressor? Or was the air compressor after you replaced the solenoid...
@@rayjohnson8512 piece by piece I replaced the entire system. Watch also the emergency holdback valves at the struts. Some struts producer have the valves defect. You would be better with the old existing valves. There is also a producer in Germany who produces new ones. Rolf
Rolf, question: I have a 12 S and the pump stays running too much (somtimes have to pull the relay) and the tank never gets much above 75 psi. If I take the pressure after shutting the car off, an hour later it is at or near zero. Did thoroughleak test from compressor to tank, but found nothing. Car does not sag at any corner or side. Do you think its the dist block/solenoid? If so, whats the safest (quality-wise) part to use that's cheapest? Thanks! Liked and subscribed!!
@@TeslaOwnersUSoh really...lol. So much potential for road debris to damage it. They could have put that in the trunk area. No electronics should ever be placed so close to the bottom of the car like that.

@@pkonyoutube Check the service valve first. I plugged it dead. Nobody except service need this. Rolf
@@TeslaOwnersUS thanks, but what do you mean by this? I checked the shraeder fill valve and reseated it, but that was ok.
@ now you have to check for leaks. Good luck, Rolf
