Awesome Video! I have been able to edit a template to suit my needs for the most part however when i copy the -Setup Sheet (MILL-SZ).rpx , paste it into my template, save it and then try to open the setup-sheet from mastercam it comes up completely blank. Is there something i am missing or is there another way to add the stock size as well as image into my template?
How did you get the vise into the GUI I would like to be able to do this in Mastercam for Solidworks what file formats are used.??where can the vise file be found??
There are multiple tags that are called "name" ie tool name, insert name, etc. how do I specify that I want to grab the insert name vs the tool name? (making a custom template for tool lists)
Hello Kevin, First of all, congratulations for the video, pretty amazing! Actually, I'm trying to create a brand new report using the Designer and it's almost completed, unless for the "TIMES" information, that I can't get from the Standard Glossary, such as Tool Changing Time, Rapid Movements Time, etc. Could you please help me to get those "not normal" information from Mastercam? Cause I know that those are available as variable to be printed out in NC file when post-processed. If you could, would help a lot! Thanks in advance! Kenny Machado
What software are you using to open the RPX files from mastercam? We are trying to open the setup sheets located in the SST/reports folder to make setup sheets for various jobs we have at our shop.. when we click on a setup sheet/RPX file we get an error that it cannot be opened and to choose another software to open it
Hi Brian. You likely will not be able to open the RPX files just by double clicking on them. They will not have a program associated to them unless you choose to do this manually by right clicking and choosing the 'Open With' option to identify a program. The program you are looking for is called 'Active Reports Designer'. Keep in mind that Active Reports are not designed by Mastercam directly, this is just an Add-on that is included with the installation with Mastercam as it is a useful tool for Mastercam customers to use. This is why you will not be able to open the RPX file from Mastercam directly. In the video above at about 14:30 you will see the steps to opening the Active Reports Designer program. This is found in your Windows Start Menu under any Mastercam install folder. For older versions of Mastercam this might be in a 'Utilities' sub folder (as seen in video), but in newer versions of Mastercam, you will see the shortcut directly under the Mastercam folder in your Windows Start Menu. Once you open the Active Reports Designer, you will then be able to open the RPX file that you wish to work with. Hope this helps!

Hi. When the report is coming out, he does 3 repetitions, he removes everything 3 times, what could be the reason for this?
