Re the tracks coming off on one side, I had the same issue recently where the idler pulley bolt wasn't actually connected to the idler pulley. Not sure if yours is the same issue but thought I'd make the suggestion
Thanks for the video. I been wanting one of these been on the fence over buying one. Would be handy to have on the ranch and maybe catch a few side jobs with it. Not sure i can spend around $10k on something with little to no resale value that is pretty much just disposable in a couple of years.
Well the way i see it, if you hire someone instead it might cost you about half price of the machine…. At that point it be worth it, buy and re sell it
@Trike4life my mother was quoted a high number to build a pad, electric, water, and septic. We did the work and it may cost about 1000 more. Now I have the mini excavator and a mini dump. So it was worth it to me
@@jtsokiehobbyandadventures6666 that’s exactly what happened with me, i have to do some work on my foundation, but ive yet done it, doing work for everyone else so far 😅
@Trike4life here is something I lurked from tinker credit union. If you are buy to use on you place. Not for a business it can be financed for 10 years. It is something you may help. Make sure to add attachments in financing. To have to buy out of pocket gets expensive. This is how I have a subcompact tractor. It may be worth checking in to
Looking at a 1.3 ton unit being sold at dealer in Hamilton Ontario , for a extra 1500 can get the 2 cylinder Kubota diesel engine over the 23 hp Briggs motor. The diesel worth the extra money ? It should outlive the gas motor by 4 times .
I owned a yanmar b08 new put 1600 hours on it not one repair. I bought a used yanmar sv08 for 10k with about 840 hours on it. This was before inflation was out of control. With 1400 plus hours on it now knock on wood I've had only one hose break in 600 hours. Personally I'd buy a new or used name brand diesel machine over one of the cheaper Chinese units no question. When you get down to it time is money and all those little fixes will drive crazy when you are trying to run flat out
have you had any issues with your push blade? when i put mine down to stabize when i dig it pushes the cylinder back in so im always rocking around when im digging
Not yet, so far hydraulic wise its been good, i had air in the system once, ran it without the hydraulic cap on it sitting high and made sure to move the arm as low and much as i could to try to get the air up, its been good since
Been running mine for the past one year . Looks similar; it's a 1.15 ton TERROR X from TYPHON. None of the usual problem one expects from a $11k cabin excavator
I've been looking at getting that Terror X possibly. Looks like a rebrand of the same thing as Hightop HT10. You say yours hasn't had any problems yet? That would be encouraging.
Your machine is almost identical to mine, the hour meter on mine was merely disconnected. It seems good to keep it off for resale, but you really need it to keep track for oil changes and other maintenance. Plus, it’s just wrong to leave it disconnected for the next buyer. Hook it up.
These are cheaper then deer, koba or other name brand. There over 20,000to 25,000. I paid 10,500 plus tax I have had the ht10b for 9 months. I have not had much problem. The left Trax has came off 3 to 4 times. That just need to keep tight. With the pins and wear. It is easy to fix. I use 7/8 bolts and lock nuts. And on if one egg shape out. Easy to fix if you know how to mig weld. Tractor supply has steal spacer pipe tube can weld in. With these cheaper machine you will have to know how to work on.
Hi i really appreciate you give us all that information im planing to buy one from china but we have to pay a front and wait for 8 to 10 weeks but not sure what if i loose all tha money ... How mucho time you wait for delivery?
@javier almazan where do you live. I bought from a auction place before it went to auction. I paid more then you will have to. But I picked up that day and didn't have to wait. The biggest problem I have is no warranty the way I bought. The good thing I have not needed it. If buying make sure to get as many attachments as you can. The 3 buckets are nice to have. I got a auger with it. I have bought the concrete buster. I like the quick attach. But I broke mine when using the concrete buster. If possibly get hydraulic filter and cooler with it. Help with cooling the hydraulic. I have only repaired 1 linkage on mine. I picked up a bushing and bolt up at tractor supplie store where I live for about 10.00 and welded in the bushing in. So it helps if you have mig wilder and can weld.
I run them for 100 hours then resale them and get a new one, way cheaper than a rental, about $15 an hour including fuel cost vs $31 for the cheapest rental per hour. You can try to go longer but repairs and personal time spent will start driving up operating cost.
Put an upside down coffee cup on top of the ignition... or something similar that won’t blow away... or maybe a hinge with a cap attached that will cover it when it rains.
I would not do it myself, i keep it covered somehow, mainly the key switch, choke lever and the throttle lever, the rest will be ok other than it might accelerate the rusting lol
Chinese equipment like this mimicks old iron. You have to fix or repair it one hour out of seven but it is usually cheap to do so. Unlike old quality iron it probably will not last another few decades.
Its build ok, parts are cheap engine is same as a snowblower, pump can be bought locally… its stuff like the boom pins, hydraulic motors, house sprocket…. Those to this point, i dont think they are availble to buy
@@diftoyota I am going to be in the market later this year for a small machine. I have a pretty nice woodmaxx chinese backhoe for my tractor and it is great but I want a dedicated machine for 4 to 5 years for some projects. I am debating one of these or a beat up pretty well used brand name. I can work on them both so no problem there. I'll probably only put a few hundred hours on it before I sell it. Thanks for the review.
Worst thing is is when you can't find parts in the machine sitting there for 6 months and you got 5 grand tied up in it when you're back to using a shovel and every night looking for parts
It gets what it needs, im not the type of guy to load it up full until it drips grease everywhere wen you work with it lol, as soon it starts to come out a bit thats all it gets
my little windstorm is near 500hrs off severe abuse that no machine 3 times its price would stand and still work flat out full rev at 1 litre diesel per hour. no other digger can match it. used them all none will beat a windstorm xn10
I'm interested to buy one for my farm, all these information are relevant, however, I need to be consulted with your experience as I don't have any experience at all.
They do have a counterweight, tip easy? You should try one before saying what they do, im impressed on what they do, if not better than the same size brand name machine, just quality of some parts are not as good as the most expensive machine, but at 1/4 of the cost, its good depending on what you use it for
@@diftoyota I had a rhinoceros basically the same exact as yours but I sold it and bought a used name brand Japanese machine (IHI 9vx-3) check it out in my channel if u want. When I sold mine it had 470ish hours and it was a complete piece of junk, I had a lot of the same problems that your having but also my whole front dozer blade broke and had to do some serious welding and fab to fix it, the metal they use isn’t even close to the quality of metal on the Japanese machine. My IHI machine was a abused rental machine with close to 1900 hours but it is sooooo much better in every way then the Chinese mini!! And I wouldn’t consider that a counter weight what comes on the Chinese mini it’s more of a kinda thick frame part, a real counter weight has a lot of mass to it and can be bolted on and off the machine. My IHI machine is a 1 ton machine but it can lift twice as much as the Chinese machine without tipping not to mention its not twitchy and jerky like the Chinese one

I plan on renting out a couple of my machines and selling a few too. If you need some help reach out lots of guys can help.
Wen you compare the price of a brand name machine and the price of this one plus the repairs, its still cheaper than a brand name, to be honest, it does ok for what it is
The claw in the back, when you Straighten it back you can Weld 2 or 3, 1/4 inch thick metal plates across so it don't bend again.
Exactly what i was planning to do 👌. Always room for improvements
The tracks on my mini-excavator keep coming off as well. Besides that, this little monster is making good money for me as a contractor.
Im pretty sure its a design flaw, if the track be thicker rubber i think it be ok
